I have one, and only one request of this set: No. Numbered. Bags. I want to search endlessly for that one piece, only to find it in that place I thought I already looked. Oh, sure, I could be organized - but what fun is that?! 10179 didn't need no stinking numbers on its bags, and neither does 75192! Come on, Lego, let's separate the post-pubescent from the pre-pubescent!3 points

The station could be bigger but I hear Lego is customizable so I'm ok with it. Always happy to have a new winter set.3 points

great twitter reply to Lego's UCS MF teaser. "Oh my god, is that a picture of the set? I can't believe we're finally getting Alderan "3 points

I'm still waiting on a large UCS-scale set of the Petranaki Arena/Battle of Geonosis from Episode 2. I don't get it why one's not been made yet . So much playability and display value. And we keep getting remakes and skipping one of the biggest scenes from the prequel trilogy. And nobody even talks about it as a set. Something similar to this would work.2 points

LE will not take a hit. The other fellow is anyone´s guess. Some more juice about 75192. From Lego source in China. The Lego 75192 UCS Millennium Falcon to be released in Oct 2017. A beast of whopping 7541 pieces of bricks. Retail price in China would be CNY 8499 (USD 1275). The set came with signature card of the designer. Also there would be limited edition free gift restricted to 150 world wide. The limited edition free gift includes a Star Wars watch, a BrickHeadz and a commemorative card. The dimension is 21cm height, 84cm long, 56cm width. Usually the Lego price in China was 50% higher than U.S, so the price in U.S shall be USD 787. Release date would be Oct. 1 2017 at Lego Certified stores.2 points

I can see it now, some kid's gonna try to use the cockpit as a carrying handle. Thing's gonna drop to the floor in less than 12 parsecs2 points

The signs had been there since late last year. Anyone holding a10179 only has themselves to blame. Some bloke on one of the fb groups put their misb 10179 up for sale today offering it for a bargain $3500. Bloke is getting very annoyed when people comment about the imminent re release. This is the same bloke who had a go at me at the start of the year for spreading lies and rumours about a potential re release and costing money of those people with 10179's who decide to sell on my advise. Ah poetic justice!2 points

Filling it with 1 x1s would be a huge mistake and piss everyone off. I just finished two Minecraft Microworld sets and those pieces suck.2 points

Just do Tantive IV. That ship is stunning and so old that no one can bemoan a remake (although I'm sure people will).1 point

Ugh, if that is real.... i'm going to have a hard time passing up on it. Kept telling myself my brickbuilt 10179 was good enough, but those extra details are fiinnee. Now i have to start thinking about how to offload 10179 to cover the cost of this bad boy. Hopefully the frame is similar to 10179 so i can wall mount it as well1 point

I believe the set will be similarly sized to the original falcon, as i cannot imagine them thinking a LARGER set is a good idea for anyone. (shelf space, displayability, shipping weight, box size, inventory issues, etc). However the increased piece count could point to a very detailed interior as many have hoped for. Detailed interiors require lots of very small pieces. Instead of being disappointed that the majority of the extra pieces are 'small' it might actually be great news that we get a similarly sized falcon (yay) and a detailed interior (double yay). However i do agree they will probably retail this bad-boy for 800. (No yay) September can't come soon enough. And bravo to Lego for being able to keep this under wraps. Whatever it is!1 point

Buy-in price is nearly £50. Slow and steady, with more people appreciating the uniqueness of this set.1 point

This is positive news overall for the LEGO fan and collector. A 7541 piece Falcon (if it is a Falcon) will be quite different from the 10179...almost 50% bigger. Quite impressive. This set will impress any fan or non-fan for that matter and will bring a huge buzz to LEGO once again. While a release of another UCS Falcon will hurt the 10179, one can hope that the new set will be limited and that the price will be restrictive to most of the buying public. There will always be people that want the 10179, especially to display next to this behemoth. Regardless, this set will be a flipper's dream this Holiday season...1 point

Each person you can turn away from any particular set, is one less competitor you have to battle with in the aftermarket. It's all a mind game to maximize profits. Everyone, LEGO as a whole has lost all value. The dumps will soon be full of plastic bricks. I am certified to recycle these bricks to save our environment. I'll take these off your hands free of charge to ensure we protect our planet. Just let me know where to pick up, and which size truck I should bring. Mother Earth thanks you.1 point

I have a wife, and she has expressly forbidden me from buying this set, until certain other non-essential things are purchased first (read: golf cart for cruising the neighborhood) .1 point

Guys, what if this has all been one big diversion campaign, there is no new falcon, and 75192 is actually a toddler-scale pod racer. So bogus bricks will be just as flabbergasted as us when LEGO shocks the world with the real set. We've been smeckledorfed.1 point

I don't have to ask for permission, but my wife doesn't either. That's a whole other issue... [emoji856][emoji857][emoji24]1 point
