Poor photo quality but here are some recent builds: My wife built the brickheadz and supervised, by leaving me alone, the other builds. I am indifferent towards the brick bank and it seems like a miss to me. The white exterior doesn't go with any of the other modulars (use rustic or tan to show age) and it's far too short for a corner building which forces me to break open a second set to compensate. I understand the trend of smaller and more detailed but this took it too far. The mismatched exterior color is a poor choice as well because it forces you to buy other sets to hide it and the laundromat is a throwaway section. There are some nice design characteristics but it's a general miss. The GBHQ was built from a used set with all of the pieces sorted by color. This took forever to build but I really liked all of the references to the movie and I really enjoyed seeing it come together. This is a well designed set particularly with how it opens up to show the interior and the back wall is easy enough to hide. I don't expect this set to have huge value for resale after retirement but it's a solid piece.6 points

Each person you can turn away from any particular set, is one less competitor you have to battle with in the aftermarket. It's all a mind game to maximize profits. Everyone, LEGO as a whole has lost all value. The dumps will soon be full of plastic bricks. I am certified to recycle these bricks to save our environment. I'll take these off your hands free of charge to ensure we protect our planet. Just let me know where to pick up, and which size truck I should bring. Mother Earth thanks you.5 points

I really question why you buy any Lego at all...every one of your posts is either talking about how a set is a complete turd or makes no sense at any price. I can be negative at times, but I have never seen anyone who is as relentlessly negative as you are. Even accounting for the differences between the US and European markets, to say that 60111 would be a waste of time at 70% is so ridiculous that it leads me to believe that you're just messing around and don't actually believe the stuff you write. I can only think of one set (Construct-A-Zurg) that would have been a true waste of time at 70% and even that set has rebounded to the point where a 70% off purchase would have turned a profit (although it would be a money loser from a time-value perspective).3 points

I have a wife, and she has expressly forbidden me from buying this set, until certain other non-essential things are purchased first (read: golf cart for cruising the neighborhood) .3 points

Everyone and their grandma's cat sell advents during the holiday season . Number of sellers on these in the past two years has been ridiculous .3 points

These have really fallen off badly since the Santa Vader set. Why don't we get truly unique figures any longer? The white Chewy was easy, but at least it was different. I just can't get over how unbelievably lazy and mailed-in this Santa BB-8 figure is. This might very well be the first year I skip the SW advent calendar.3 points

I'm still flipping mine now. I've been told by multiple outlets, including earlier on this thread, that Lego's plan is to continue production of this set into 2018. I've honestly seen absolutely nothing that would make me think otherwise. The Lego stores around me are still getting them in every few weeks. I just sold my 19th copy yesterday. My profits after eBay fees, PayPal fees, and shipping costs exceeded $450 in total. I'm not complaining. In fact, you can help me. Keep buying these things, every time you come across them. It will continue to feed my quick flipping campaign. Thanks in advance for your help.2 points

I love my wife, and I love Lego. And she doesn't really understand my love for Lego, but she tries. She even sits down with me and builds. It's a fun family event. Luckily, I'm invested in Lego, and will be able to buy into this set at the beginning with money obtained from selling other Lego. So, no need to ask the wife. She already knows. I'm so excited to build it. The only problem I've got, no place to put it after it's built! We live in a small apartment and have a one year old. I'm already taking up a large section of the living room for my shipping supplies, which really pushes my wife's limits. Thus, I might be building, appreciating for like four days, and disassembling this set. At least for the time being. But, I believe it will be worth it. Maybe this will give me an excuse to build it several times. That might be really fun.2 points

The buyer's GSP shipping breakdown is only shown on the shipping slip you print during the postage purchase process. At times the buyer's GSP price was insanely high so I let the buyer know these fees are not from me but ebay itself.2 points

It is a simple test to see if you have what it takes to be a reseller. If competing with 100s other sellers for $.50 profit is enough to stop you from selling, then the reseller life is not for you2 points

I know the color of the box and some details, it is being manufactured in Mx... I cannot confirm minifigures yet... my contacts are keeping these details even from me..... which is good, I want it to be a surprise for me as well... that is why I have not digged deeper into the detaisl...2 points

I use it, and as a seller I like it. I've had two problems with it, but both problems seem to have been caused by the buyer screwing up their address in some way. Both times the item got shipped back to the Global Shipping Center near me, but I never personally got them back. The beauty is that if there is a problem between ebay's global shipping center and the buyer, as a seller, you are not responsible for the mess. All you've got to do is get the item to the shipping center.1 point

I was counting on the Chinese concern revealing their version first. It´s remarkable how TLG seem to be able to keep a lid on internal and exteral links when they really want to. Makes me think that a lot of the previous ones were stage managed.1 point

Just a thought on my previous question. The 755xx Darth Vader and Boba that people are assuming are buildables. Could the number jump indicate a new product line. IE Star Wars Brickheadz?1 point
