modified spidey bridge to fit trains. I don't have much room for a straight incline ( 4 ft on both sides) so lots of work ahead.5 points

I just got this the other day complete with box in excellent condition and an unused sticker sheet. He listed it for $1750 and I made an ffer of $1000. He countered with $1450 and I countered with $1025 and explained that I watched it go up and now its coming down. I personally think $1025 (or $1100 with shipping) is not bad. I am still open for a loss but a year ago I lost an auction for $1900 so I will never feel bad at the price I got.3 points

Compare it to Sea Cow, very similar in terms of positioning. This is larger and more detailed, thus maybe a bit better potential, but still should be close to it. In any case, no D2C has set a large long term potential now, market got saturated and too competitive. People here have to keep in mind that the golden age was good not just because of the low number of investors. The low number of D2C sets released so far at those times meant a much smaller universe of collectable sets and variety. Also, LEGO kept a lower amount of sets in production, so people ran out faster from in-production sets and needed to resort to shop the retired market sooner. Now anybody coming out of the dark ages (i.e. the market for retired sets) faces a plethora of choices. LEGO has an obscene amount of sets in production with discounts coming back. The retired market has such a selection that you do not even know what to get. Long term investments for D2C sets in my opinion is pretty much over for this reason. Better gains can be made on smaller and short production sets. People are less reluctant to pay triple on a $20 set than a $200 one.3 points

I don't know if I was dreaming or what but I could have sworn I saw a post where someone preordered a UCS falcon for a May the 4th celebration this year. I searched everywhere (here, shopathome) and came up with nothing though.1 point

Stick a fork in it. Other retailers are gonna have to do better though to get rid of it.1 point

From the current list, I'll probably pick up everything, except for the Bat Dune Buggy (don't need another Capt Boomerang), nor the Space Shuttle (unless it's a really cool build). The rest of chock full of minifigs I'm going to need to have.1 point

Tragic Banjo on Eurobricks has seen the set and mentioned my 7643 piece guess was close to the actual piece count.1 point

According to a German Lego-Blog, a store-employee let slip a few more details, mentioning the weight of the set to be about 15 kg ( 33lbs), making it again a good deal heavier than 10179 (11kg with box and instructions) https://www.promobricks.de/lego-star-wars-ucs-millennium-falcon-75192-karton-soll-15-kg-schwer-sein/395731 point

1) The Piece Count is the trickiest part so I added all of the pieces of every single LEGO Millennium Falcon sets except for the one in the advent calendar and I got 659+985+5195+396+1254+1329+87+94=9999 and then I did 9999-1977 to get 8022 pieces. However because Lego star wars sets didn't come out until 1999 I found out it took 22 years until they arrived in the form of Lego so I subtracted 22 from 8022 to get 8000 pieces. Coincidence? I Think Not! 2) Really don't know when it would leak but probably around August 29, 2017 at 8:11 P.M. 3) We will most likely get C3P0, R2D2, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Rey, Finn, BB8, Old Han Solo and a Buildable Mynock like the rumors have said. It would also be nice if we got Lando Calrissian and Bespin Luke as well since it will most likely be ESB themed this time around. Nien Nunb could also be an added Bonus if included. 4) I believe there will be a Radar dish for the OT version and the TFA Version. I also want to add that I believe that the box in the front will most likely be ESB themed since it is a more iconic theme to many people who may or may have not seen any Star Wars films and the Back of the Box will be TFA themed. Either that or the box will be some type of New Packaging that we haven't seen before in a LEGO set.1 point

my lego shop at home already delivered and it is 29R7 for what it is worth it also came in a brown lego box that was made perfectly to fit it with the norma Lego building toys logo on the outside like it would be a case pack and the box was much thicker cardboard than normal but it did not say case pack have case pack labels or Saturn on the box ..... the box inside was mint maybe they are changing boxes to better protect Lego sets1 point

Finished. Well I guess I need to see the movie as there is a lot of build here that I have no clue what it is. Besides being an amazing display set, it is very busy and seems to have something different to look at each time, there are some awesome modules that have great detail on the inside that you do not see unless you take them apart and explore, like Lloyd's apartment that just looks like a plain yellow building from the outside and the comic book store. It is not your classic Ninjago set and I still think ToA is my favorite in the theme. It is also not a classic Modular where you build one floor at a time, rather you build separate modules that attach to make up the floors. I think they did a great job of recreating the city from the movie using new elements, elements in new colors and existing elements in new ways, but will have to wait to see it. I am going to add the Ninjago green dragon 70612 tonight and some lampposts from the city chase 70607 should be arriving Monday. You get a lot for $300 with over 4860 elements, 16 minifigs, sweep and 2 suprise figs that are part of the build.1 point
