I went to TLS Tuesday evening when they got the Ninjago blind bags in. I was told they sold out instantly. Well, I can't visit Mecca and not spend money! This is me showing restraint and just picking up some staples: milk, bread, and eggs. Needing something more exciting, I picked this for a personal build/fig flip for $23.78 at Target.

I was at a LEGO store today and they had 5 on their shelf and about 15-20 on the floor by the door.

No, the model didn't arrived yet. I saw it on the computer screen. It wasn't floating anywhere except that computer in particular, everyone from LEGO store and beyond knows how this project is important to them and they want to keep it concealed and they are taking this very serious. The access to the room where I saw the model on the screen is limited to just 2 persons. Same with London Bus, but back then I saw the completed model about week or two before the official announcement.

i think everryone is aware a new UCS MF is coming by all the little hints by lego (shop@home web site page by searching, video with the lego president who laughed, Instagram posts, etc...) now we are at the point where solid info about the upcoming USC MF itself should be considered newsworthy.

I just received a SYW VIP promo in the mail today that has some coupons. Included is a 15% back in points on any order over $50, now through mid September. This is the single most exciting thing to happen to my account in probably at least a month. Heck, July was my birthday month, and I had to go through a couple of rounds with SYW customer service just to get a couple bucks in points from store purchases where the 5% bonus didn't kick in. I've definitely scaled back my buying as a result - perhaps this new clearance will at least give me something to use the new coupon on.

It's doing terrible. After it retired it shot up to $450. Now it's 300-330. Investors late to buy caused the spike. I don't think that means anything for 70618. It's much cheaper than Sea Cow and a more traditional ship. Plus it should be easy to pick up at a discount. Sea Cow was rarely if ever discounted.

Bought 3 caterhams taking advantage of AFOL day. They threw in some polybags and a snow globe (bashed - so will build). Used some VIP points as well, so overall about 40% off for a set that isn't available on discount anywhere in UK. I think there was a fellow brickpicker who was in queue ahead of me buying a Snowspeeder and insisting that they find a pristine box! Made me laugh!

And on top of that we can no longer redeem reward $ on legos. Bye bye Toys r us. Hello Walmart.

It's not that it's not allowed. It's more of a keyboard shortcut. You can type that abbreviation, and the board will automatically spell it out for you.

There haven't been any Fount/SYW promos for like three weeks. That was my bread & butter. I was getting like $260+/monthly in points via the promos. The surprise points have been sad and almost all the LEGO sets I'm interested in are Hot Buys so I cannot use coupons. I've used up all my saved points and I'm just waiting on more promos to take advantage of. I hope it's soon because Kmart has been dead for a bit now. The only uptick seem to be these Bonus games they have all day long. I've been winning more, more often. But I'd rather have the promos back.

I got an $8 surprise points on $30 order offer this week. That combined with some better sweeps luck so far on this two week cycle, and I am looking at getting some free lego next week. (My 6 year old has been begging for Darth Vader transformation.)

Dragon from Ninjago Dragon Forge. Nicer than I expected. Some less common blue (not sure which blue is used) parts and several of the shield shaped tiles (in black). Edit* the blue I mentioned is Dark Azure.
