It all started with one of our fish having babies. We separated them in a breeding tank for a couple of days. But that was not enough....my wife and sons teamed up on me and begged for a bigger tank. Next thing I knew...we had decided to not only get a bigger tank, but also decided exactly how we wanted to decorate it. We love our Lego displays, and this was just another creative way to add to the collection. What the hell...right?!! Great build! Very fragile! Great display piece!

they could also ship an extra 20 percent bricks like the megabloks enterprise set to make sure you have more than enough and from that you can build a small falcon to go with the big falcon

since 10179 is now the 'parent' set, maybe that should be called the UCS MILF?

I believe Amazon was tweaking some of there restrictions around Hazmat. I had a couple of my Toy listings brought down after being active for 2 years. Flagged as Hazmat risks. Then got sent an email saying if i didn't contest it in three days my items would be destroyed. I contested all of the issues and upon successfully fending off the toxic selling environment. I was rewarded with Amazon flagging the majority of my inventory as defective for no reason.

Shipping rates can be unfair, at least for very small items. The most obvious case is shipping from Hong Kong or mainland China compared to vice versa. That said, you may be able to protect your item in cardboard, put it in a manila envelope, and ship it as a letter, rather than a package (someone else detailed how to do that at some point here). That assumes you're not dealing with a bulky piece.

I recently had an order from Italy that the seller decided the shipping was too high.......$14. The weight was minimal. 4oz or so and the price I quoted was through the USPS. Is there any other options to mail to Europe for a lower shipping rate? I know Ive gotten things abroad and paid $6 US before. Thanx guys

My experience has been it is considered electronics. If there is a gwp, Dimensions won't trigger the register to give you the promo for free. Has to be manager override.

These two sets were already marked down to $10 and $20 respectively, and they had a lot on hand. I know the manager pretty well, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask for a little more off if I took them all. It was the perfect storm of scoring a mega deal. Total purchase came out to 68% off.

About 2-3 years ago, a guy I shipped a $15,000 baseball card to (Eddie Mathews 1952 Topps, PSA 7) said I sent him a $5 card. I met with the police and provided the postmaster general with a copy of the video. Guess who is in jail or heavily fined for trying to commit mail fraud? That guy. Guess who saved $15,000 by taking a 2 minute video with his Canon Pure Shot camera? This guy.
