Hopefully this move on ToysRUs' part to prevent the use of rewards on "LEGO Construction Sets" will have an inverse reaction and bring back the old days of the Colored tag sales. Ever since the inception of the coupon exclusions for LEGO I rarely set foot in my local TRU. The only times I go now is for my kids so they can spend their xmas and birthday money and even then I show them the fine art of pming and coupons and do my best to prevent them paying TRU's inflated prices.5 points

So far, Hugo Strange and Black Canary have led the rumored figures (of which there will be 20). I know I'd like to see the rest of the Justice League / Superfriends. I'm hoping for the Wonder Twins to be in there.1 point

You should know better than to post CL purchases until you actually have them in hand. Great deal if you end up with them though.1 point

The reason why there is no capacity for Saturn V at the moment is the fact that they need it for producing a lot of Falcons...1 point

M motor is suitable with this one, and Bulky Battery Box 88000 without options of changing the speed of the rotor/carousel or you can go with 8878 which is tiny rechargable with DC10 charger (any literally no need to be LEGO) and you can change the speed of spin and rotation. more expensive but my carousel is flying with this one like a champ butter smooth and I was really happy with the result.1 point

That is an E-motor and although I don't own one, according to Philo it is does not have much torque. So there may be nothing wrong with the motor. Depending on your gearing, a M or L motor should work well.1 point

This is the motor I connected to it... I think something may be wrong with the motor as it doesn't generate torque worth a damn and squeaks if I push on it. I really have to dig out one of the bigger motors from my EV3 set and try those. It definitely takes a lot of juice to turn it though, even by hand and I'm 99% sure it's put together ok.1 point

Bought the castle today for about 55% off to add to my collection. At that price point it looks like an interesting parts pack.1 point

I bank my points and luckily don't mind using them on gifts for my kids. However if this is true. Then my TRU card will enter into a state of hibernation.1 point

Not a standard Lego Set but its created by me. When i'm not shipping lego sets and not working working at a day job I to have some fun with grey bricks. This current set is the 2.0 of my profile picture. I am about to break it down to make a 3.0 of it, thought id share it. I have had a huge inspiration from the Halo series type ships and the 40k warhammer series is currently growing on me currently as well. I'm going to try and work on a warhammer inspired ship as well later down the road. And here it is with the fleet. I can go more into depth and show other sets that I make but i'm currently lazy and just cropping the pics took me some time.1 point

My treat for Comic Con this year - an autographed Rogue One double vinyl album, signed by Michael Giacchino. Second time I've met him (first time for an autograph). Probably my favorite composer just after John Williams. He wrote all the music for LOST.1 point

Right I'm able to answer my own question here. I've checked the part list thoroughly, so I am now confident that all parts are here and that I have all bags. There is a total of 12 sealed bags, with one of the bags containing an additional, smaller bag. The five long pieces of tubing are within one of these bags, and not loose in the box as some seem to have found. Here are pics of all the box contents. Sorry if some of the quality isn't great, was taken in low light.1 point

I feel like this line has reached a point where it appears to have some legs, forgive the pun. You can really build quite a shelf-full of these. Heck, they have better variety in these than the classic 4" Hasbro/Kenner style Super Articulated figures. If these had only lasted 1 or 2 series, I think they would have been curiosities, but with the line growing every year it's possible people will see them, like them and want to backfill their collection. That of course is where we come in. For me, seeing the vintage Stormtrooper released as a 2 in 1 Sandtrooper / Stormtrooper, PLUS the biker scout on speederbike tells me that even though the focus of the line will likely be the current movie in theaters, they are willing to fill in the vintage characters along the way. We know the Han Solo movie is coming, so you can bet we'll get Han & Chewie & Lando. Han & Lando may not look just like their vintage counterparts, but Chewie will, and apparently Han doesn't stray from his style much. ("Same jacket") We know Episode 8 and 9 are coming, so that's a ton more figures. Plus whatever spin-off movie # 3 is. We're also hearing rumors of a Boba buildable. All things considered, I think this line is showing some real potential now that it has critical mass. It's like when the 6" black series was released by Hasbro. At first, many 4" collectors ignored it. Once it became clear it was the new flagship, and had enough momentum to be a nearly complete series of characters, people started to want the figures from the first few series. In fact, Mixels and really ANY Lego theme have that similar pattern. I'm calling this line a future (LONG TERM HOLD) success, and I'm excited to be picking them up at 80% off What say you?1 point

Hmm...not seeing what you describe. With the exception of auctions days away from ending, not seeing any TFA set NIB with figs for 40-60% off including shipping.1 point
