Yes it is a big upgrade that was released. As I said in the announcement at the top of the page, I need to fix some things graphically and make some settings changes. There are a lot of nice features that were added and I will write up a post highlighting some a little later today. I have no had time much time to test with the mobile app, but it still appears to be working which is good.3 points

I HATE you LEGO. (*&*&&^%*^)(*&)@)(*&#@$)*&^!! Man, I want that minifig. Why do you do this to me? Why do CW figs for SDCC giveaways? WHY?!?!?2 points

If Apollo is the most talked about but least hoarded set, then sure. I dunno which is the better case to be in, though. It´s just the CITY we buy or talk about that doesn´t appreciate. All the other sets do just fine.2 points

You can modify the address when you print the shipping label, but you lose the seller protection, if you value that you'll need to cancel the order and have them rebuy with the correct address. There is no way, that I'm aware of, to change the address after they have checked out and keep seller protection. When you cancel, you can select the reason that says there is something wrong with the buyer's address.1 point

Yes, it appears more partitioned and shaded, with ugly emojis. I hope that the update allows me to stay logged in on my desktop instead of having to re-enter my password daily.1 point

Worth a shot, what's the worst that an happen, I have to deal with Amazon customer service and they're pretty good.1 point

Definite bug. Now shows that price at quantity 1, 9 in stock but if you 1 click or add to basket it says item no longer available. Upping quantity also sets it to 451 point

Another great set from this line. Really impressed with almost all the sets out of this wave.1 point

Same here, and I know others did too. Does this make this set the most hoarded not-talked-about set ever?1 point

Very interesting interview with a TLG Architecture designer. Some clues about possible future releases and also important to know that next year will be tenth anniversary year so perhaps there will be some sort of special set. https://brickset.com/article/293311 point

Maybe the real problem isn't the set, but the fact that people think they are going to strike it only one year after retirement. While it's nice to expect every set to go like an AT-AT, Town Hall, or Raptor Escape, that's not how it usually ever works on 90% of sets. Too many people want it all, and want it now... and those are the people that will be out of the game fairly quickly. I admit, I've cut my spending on investments to about 1/2 of what I spent last year, which was about 1/3rd of what I spent in 2015... So, there's definitely signs that Lego investing isn't what it used to be. However, if you invest in UCS Star Wars, I think it's wise to wait at least 3 to 4 years before you even begin to think about selling it. The problem is most of the people that bought don't want to wait that long, and so their lack of patience should make them question why they are in the game..1 point

Compared to the new-normal for UCS / Exclusive sets, These are doing quite well on Amazon USA, but that's likely due to the very strict gating (I've heard) on this product compared to other recent UCS retirees. Seems like many usual sellers were prevented from selling this one. I see 3 various listings on Amazon for 75059 (most likely to get around this issue) The lesser listings still as much as 400 shipped, the main listing at 427 shipped, and 449 shipped before you leave the first page of offers. Only 5 pages of offers in total tells me that this likely was gated more than usual or these weren't hoarded as much as earlier sets. Ebay USA's cheapest is $341 shipped but it quickly jumps to 370, 400, 440 with a few sales and only 71 listings total currently. To me, that's not bad for a recently retired set that many found on discount, especially as they had significant sales right into retirement announcement, meaning people are already making small profit even if bailing now. Must be a very different market in Europe on this one. I'm seeing it as pretty strong here based on numbers above. Totally agree that the irrational exuberance of the pop has slowed, and I believe that's a HEALTHY change from where we were. The B-Wing's life was so different than so many sets, I find it hard to bring into any comparison. Such a short life, such a wide-spread discount availability, such a HUGE sale (50%) nation-wide, but for such a short window (a few days online after the May 5th in-store blow out). If the gating was as restrictive as some have hinted, this one may have a really drastic difference between ebay and Amazon. This could be good for the set as it creates a 'false' sense of rarity on Amazon, pushing the ebay price further. Either way, I believe in this set long-term. IT's a classic, gets nothing but rave reviews from those who have built it, and will be hard to top perhaps meaning they might not ever consider re-doing, certainly not at UCS scale.1 point

In the UK it looks like a lot bought this expecting an immediate post retirement jump and you have people trying to just cash out, even if they are losing money by the time they've posted and paid fees. I think the number of people loading up on big box exclusives in the next retirement will be much smaller. The "easy money" isn't as easy as they thought.1 point

I'm in shock. It's 56 of the 61 bags and manual 2 and 3. I've asked if they have anymore or the other manual. All 3 manuals are about $350 plus on BL. This is up there with my 10030 find from a couple years ago. I need to figure out how easy it is to figure out the contents of the missing bags, and what my time and cost is going to be to gather it up vs just selling it as is on the bay.1 point

Sure. Hold on and see how it performs unless you want to build. It's a cool set.1 point

My first post here. I came out of the dark ages a about four months ago, in February. This set up has been up for about 2 months now. Kinda stole the wife's stand. I have the minifigures for all of the sets but did not want to put them up yet. I recently built the Parisian Restaurant and London Bridge. Brick bank is unbuilt and I believe the wife bought me the detective office for my upcoming birthday. I am messing around with some light bricks, a few wires and such can be seen sitting on top of the fire station. We are living in a condo so room is limits. Have an entire empty house though but it is 75 miles away, go figure. We rented the house out for 3 months and that really helped with the funding for this and the unpictured collection. I have been buying a lot of bulk lots in the hopes of building some fan designed buildings. I have some serious catching up to do with some of you all. I have seen some very nice setups on here and it makes me want to get mine in a better situation. I wish I hard started back sooner. I wanted to right as the modulars were coming out but was hit with too much college debt. I did get my feet a little wet right before that and got a few nice trains. You know what they say about hindsight.1 point

Well it isn't a house but would fit into the setup nicely. Equestrian Statue1 point

Speaking of old modulars- does anyone have instructions to the record store? Exact same problem as elk. All the pieces nicely shrink wrapped, but no instructions. Contacted brickbuilders and they are not producing instructions or the stickers.1 point
-
It's not mine - it's from a known builder called LegoSjaak - he has made a large square with all modulars at least doubled up. Click on the link I provided and you get to his Flickr page. Here's an overview pic:1 point
