I had moderate damage to every big set, except for the Brick bank and the slave. They combined some orders, so the boxes really beat each other down. The ghost buster HQ came in the bubble wrap. I have not opened it.8 points

I guess fast Eddie ran out of financing options and has resorted to using everyone's shop your way points to keep the ship afloat.5 points

Well, the construction is moving along at the moment. Though, always expect the unexpected in this line of work... "Carol, where's my green syringe? It had the experimental drug in...it...HOLY MOTHERFU-" "Ermm...Doctor, did you hear something?" "Nope." "Steady as she goes, guys. Just connect it slowly. This isn't rocket science..." "Except it is, boss. Can you lend us a hand?" "No, I can't. I'm supervising. It's what I do. Supervise." "This thing isn't so heavy!" "Speak for yourself, you're using one hand, Bob! WHAT THE BRICK?!" "Oh, that makes sense..." "Oh hey, Ellen. I gave the Captain the inoculation for the space sickness!" "CAROL! That wasn't it! THAT WAS MY EXPERIMENTAL RADIATION DRUG!" "...Oh...dear..."3 points

Well this sure didn't take long. Way to welcome someone. I will apologize ahead of time for some disturbed individuals..Disturbed, but harmless and quite knowledgable about the brick.2 points

SYW's system has reached self-awareness? Sounds unlikely ....2 points
-
Good news. Here's what SYW said. Apparently the $15 back on $35 offer that everyone got last week was supposed to require a coupon, but the system accidentally applied it to a lot of peoples offerbase. When the system realized what happened, it automatically retracted those points from anyone who earned them. SYW said they had received a ton of calls about that, and to just call them and they MIGHT reinstate the points. (she said it depends on the rep, I personally got my $15 back)2 points

This sounds like a mass account hack. It's happened before, I'm calling SYW and will report back.2 points

The Count Dooku and the Yoda are Clone Wars cartoon versions. Dooku could either be from 7752 Solar Sailer or 9515 Malevolence. He's missing his hair piece. The Yoda also being a clone wars version (I assume he does not have hair on the back of his head?) either means he's from 7964 Republic Frigate or 8018 Armored Assault Tank or they're both from 852555 Magnet Set CW Yoda 2009. Given the lack of other figures from those sets, I'm guessing the magnets. The Hoth Rebel Trooper looks like he's just from Hoth Trooper Battle Pack 8083. The grey imperial looks like General Veers from AT-AT 8129. The snowtrooper could very well go with that set, too. The calamari on the right is Nahdar Vebb from General Grievous starfighter 8095. The other calamari looks like a calamari head on a rebel hoth trooper body (see battle pack above). The Leia (and the Ackbar head) I'm going to guess are from 852843 Magnet Set, since that version of Leia seems to appear in large sets that would be a little hard to mistake, like 10188 Death Star, 10198 Tantive IV, and 10179 UCS Millennium Falcon.2 points

Amazon handyman services? And I've been trying to figure out what to sell on Amazon and all this time I could have been selling myself. Even price match that.2 points

Sorry to have made the association. I will remember it every time I see her as well. The Penguins have long been a team that I both like and has had bad hair ... Mario Lemieux was no stranger to the mullet (sorry, last off-topic picture). Heck, it matches Rey's hair even better. *edit .. I promised not to post another picture, so I won't, but Sidney Crosby is no stranger to the mullet either.*2 points

I built the 7239 Fire Truck (2004) when I got home from work and I needed some Lego therapy after a long day. We have all been there. The partially built truck was in with some parts I got for free from a neighbor and I ordered most of the few missing parts (still need one ladder) on Bricklink and they were part of an order for some missing parts I needed for an Indiana Jones set. Some substitutions were made, but it happens and since it is for me I like it even better. I had lots of fun deciding on minifigures for this this set since the original ones were missing, decided to get a female firefighter to make my daughter happy and added the scuba diver that is not part of the original set. He seems a natural fit with the life raft. The raft is supposed to be dark gray, but I like the orange one better. The firefighter set is one I got from Lego Shop at Home about two years ago and it is finally time break the bad boy open. This set is one of the City Sets to Remember in The Lego Book, a book I can look at for hours if given the time. I have used it as a reference book many times too.2 points
