I finished my Tantive IV 10198, and it exceeded my expectations. I have had my eyes open for a good deal on a Rebel Blockade Runner 10019, but haven't come across one at a price that I can stomach yet. In the meantime, this set was awesome. If you have one and are thinking about building it or if you have been thinking about getting one, I highly recommend it!10 points

My thoughts too. I'm surprised they gotten away with the polybag of individual minifigs (Red Arm C3PO, Yuleran, Revan, etc) other than they've always been giveaways and not for sale. It's my own opinion that, even though these are also giveaways, they are pushing the limits to see what they can get away with. If they can get away with these, then perhaps they've figured out a lower cost way of doing a minifigure series for SW that isn't in violation of the existing licensing agreements.3 points

What colour is that part meant to be? Edit: answered my own question. Light grey. In the first instance I'd be tempted to contact the seller and just check to see if he has found that piece. Otherwise replace with dbg version with replacement sticker and just make that clear when you advertise for sale. Someone looking to complete their Star Wars UCS display may not care too much about 1 piece and sticker being a substitution as it doesn't take away from the display value. If someone has to have it 100% correct then they can choose to find and buy that part. Still a bargain buy imho and plenty of meat left on the bone for resale.3 points

By "done the job" you mean another production run due to false demand or perhaps shipping some more over to the USA from the EU were they are smart enough not to buy this turd of a set. I wanted to pull the trigger on one for my personal collection but after rewatching this review couldn't do it even with 20% off and 2X VIP and promo. This will be an interesting set to watch EOL not sure which will do better it or my Mega Blocks Enterprise.3 points

The bat shuttle would be cool, especially with a light up brick! Careful though, we all know what happens when too many rumors are started. LEGO is watching you!2 points

You finally cleared them out? I was surprised to see them there last week. Did you get the two I hit behind the Nexo knights?2 points

Over the past few days I have had a lot of luck buying on CL. After losing out on one Black Pearl, I found another used one for $130 that is complete with all of the minifigures (no instructions), for investment. The Joshamee Gibbs minifigure is missing his hair, another victim of male pattern baldness no doubt. I will get new hair for him. Last night I got a used 75055 Imperial Star Destroyer complete with all the minfigures and instructions for $55. I have always wanted this one for my personal collection! The Darth Vader minifigure has one white arm with a black hand for some reason. The pieces came separated into numbered bags according to the instructions. The emperor hologram is definitely in bag 3! In both cases the mother and her son were both very happy with the money they got. It was a win, win scenario for everybody. I will admit that I am envious of the awesome finds that many members post here, and now I get to post two of my own.2 points

Darn. Some 16 hours later, there are 286 Classic Batcaves left (using Firefox's network inspection tools, thanks jimmajenga). Perhaps I chose the wrong set to get in large quantity from LEGO Shop at Home during 20% + double VIP, Walmart might discount even lower... I really wanted some Lego canvas bags though!1 point

Sold a London Bus Drivers license for £40. May pop down to Leicester sq and buy a few more. Regret now not getting a few Signed since these are now going for £300.1 point

The ones who decided to go to Leicester Sq wont regret that for sure, Jamie Berard and Morten Graff-Wang was there and I have had great pleasure to talk to them in peron because not much of the AFOLS there and people simple didnt know who they are so it gave some extra minutes to spend with them and oh blimey that was a great experience and conversation to have. Got London Bus and Apollo V Signed along with Assembly Square Sorry Tabby for underestimating this event, they did blow the balloon with this one for sure.1 point

I took a chance through a local FB virtual yardsale and picked up a lot for $200. She wouldn't budge on the price. The loose mixed lot has parts to 7261 CTT with beat up box, some random other older SW parts and minis. Plus various pieces from older HP, older City, Exo-Force and other parts from early mid 2000's era. I've picked about 2 dozen various figures so far with some mixed matched and loads of parts and accessories to go through. I'll probably just sell this off after cherry picking and picking out any non Lego stuff. Also in the lot is a open box sealed bags 8289 Technic Fire Truck and a open box sealed bags 10174 AT-ST. I gambled on these 2 hoping all the bags are there. Both Instruction are good along with a nice 10174 UCS sticker. These were literally thrown in a closet in 2007 with other toys stacked on top of them and never touched. Boxes are beat though. Now the hard part of confirming if both sets have all the bags..... That Hippogriff is $10....1 point

For some reason I don't see the brickpicker community being fans of Avenged Sevenfold, but as far as current bands go they are easily one of my favs:1 point
