Got to work this morning and noticed that 75825 Piggy Pirate Ship was marked down to $17.98 nearby, qty. 4 available. I'm not into Angry Birds, but I'll get two at that price. Drive over to Walmart, can't find them. Look around for 5 minutes, not there. Drive back to work, and check the stock tracker to see if they're down to zero on hand. OOOOPS! They're $17.98 at Target, not Walmart. Darn it. Make it to lunch time, and there are still 3 at the Target store. Head over and buy two, leaving one. With my two Zantac rebate cards for $7.58 each (thank you Krazy Coupon Lady app), and my Red Card, I get them down to $9.88 each plus tax. I'll take that 83.5% discount, even if it is Angry Birds6 points

I felt like it was time to step up my game and start modeling more popular, more difficult Hypercars. I was able to create a suspension strong enough not to need torsion bar, for all you purists out there The Chiron is one hypercar most builders do not attempt, therefore I felt it was time to step up and see what happens! Flickr Album: https://flic.kr/s/aHskZHoj1H The Lego car blog: https://thelegocarblog.com/2017/05/15/money-monday/ The Chiron has curves & shapes difficult to replicate. This build began with the simplistic, strong and extremely reliable Framework. This vehicle has a custom W16 motor (designed by @DugaldIC), front and rear lights, 2wd - 4wd shifter, Steering with the Servo, 2 XL Motors for drive, 1 M motor for rear wing, Sbrick, LIPO battery, button to turn on the battery & independent suspension. The idea was to create a purely cosmetic build, and create the whole car as close to scale as possible. As this car has a fairly short front and rear end, the batteries and motors had to be between the wheels. The Servo for steering was tucked as low as possible in front of the of the wheels not to interfere with the hood / wheel wells. Bugatti Chiron - Rear end by lachlan cameron, on Flickr The framework is low as possible, 1 stud off the ground, 2 studs above the front wheels. This was a nightmare to allow the wheels to turn without rubbing on the inside. There are 10 lights on this car, the most I have ever added to my builds! I've got to give huge props to Dugald for the engine, and Sheepo for the car jack in the video Two builds, two bros - Bugatti Chiron & Aston Martin Vantage GT3 by lachlan cameron, on Flickr Two Bro's, two supercars6 points

Ghostbusters Firehouse: Been working on this a couple hours a night. Scored it a few nights back off Craigslist, for $250. The box was destroyed, but the seller let me check all bags! Been building 1 bag number set each night, on bags #5 tonite. I am quite surprised at the level of detail inside. The quality of the build is superb,(i have never built a modular building). That window AC unit build not having ANY detail or sticker/print is driving me nuts. But I should be able to come up with something off an extra sticker sheet I have laying around. Onward to the second floor!4 points

After selling a handful of these I thought it would only be right to save one for myself and see what all the fuss is about! A nice little set, going rate of £20 seems steep but that's rare parts for you!! Either way, it does look lovely next to my UCS R2 D2.4 points

Think those are just easy to monitor as they are reviewed and see the repeat offenders. They still can't stop the Markley St address scam though. 600 Markley St Port Reading, NJ 07064 Google that for some fun reads. Not sure why the address just can't be blocked out of there system. If they can block certain words in emails and listing titles they should be able to.3 points

Seen this one running on PF. And I have to admit, Michael Psiaki absolutely nailed it with design and final execution, THIS SET IS ABSOLUTELY BEUTIFUL! and the most important fact is that THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO STUTTER, No friction no jumps etc this construction with PF is running butter smooth. Can't wait to build mine and see what kind of "magic" is responsible for this result. Mike, good to have you on board mate. I'm very looking forward to see more constructions in the future from this Lad.2 points

Continued my building rampage while my wife is overseas. Been wanting to make the kwik-e into a modular style that will fit on the block. I had to sacrifice the isles inside but everything else fit nicely. This is my first attempt at any kind of moc or mod. I think it turned out pretty good. The second floor will be an addition onto the cinema next door, still playing around with that. I have it started in the last pic but I may change that up.2 points

At my local Toys R Us, I found Ariels's Undersea Palace (41063) @ 40% off on clearance... ($42 CAD or about $31USD before taxes). I looked it up and was shocked to see that it is an easy double as this set has appreciated quite a lot since retirement. I bought all 3 remaining sets.1 point
