Alright class, take a seat. I'm going to teach you some serious SYW Rewards magic today. First a question: I have $34.14 in points, how much merchandise, measured in MSRP dollars, do you think I can get for free using these points? $40? easy. $50? wow. $60? You got to be kidding me! MORE than $60? Phil B, teach us how! Order #1: Set for $23.90 (MSRP $29.99) Add 1 bag of bolts for $1.34 (MSRP $1.49) Use $10 off $25 coupon Total before points: $15.24 Points left: $18.90 Order #2: Set for $23.90 (MSRP $29.99) Use $5 off $20 coupon Total before points: $18.90 Points left: 0 Total MSRP: $29.99 + $29.99 + $1.49 = $61.47 Total paid: $0 Any questions? Autographs after the session in the lobby. PS: The $10 off $25 coupon was sent via mobile, and had a different code (starting with 98200...). It explicitly excluded stacking with a 15% off coupon when 2 items were present in the cart, something the usual 970000.. coupons allow. Otherwise I might have kicked it up even another notch4 points

I mentioned a couple weeks ago batman lego sets 70901 and 70902 were $9.97 at costco, I went back today and swooped all of other 70905 now down to $29.97. YMMV I have 3 costcos in my area only the biggest one had these sets.(underneath large swing set display) On a side note everyone was asking about my cart stacked up high with legos I said "aren't you supposed to buy in bulk here?"3 points

[emoji1] [emoji1] [emoji1] I bought heads from LEGO Bricks and Pieces. These are some of the few pieces I've found that are cheaper to buy from LEGO than BL. I'm working on building some monochrome figs. So far I have only completed Light Bluish Gray and White. I'm excited about using that new Guardians of the Galaxy Ayesha Hair on the Pearl Gold one. Anyone want to trade me your Bright Light Blue legs (any quantity) for my Medium Blue?3 points

I got 2 encounter on Jakku and a K2-SO today at WM. K2 is for me, the rest is going into parts. Even after all the times I talked about the buildable figures negatively, I just had to get that one.2 points

Kind of sad when I had to think long and hard about buying 50% off SW sets at Walmart. Back in the old days (like 2 years ago), these would have been buy now think later kind of situation.2 points

These were available at Target for $50-55 for what seemed like forever. I remember texting a Brickpicker friend "think we'll regret not loading up on these at this price?" I grabbed a few, should have bought a terry dozen.2 points

75 +10+5 was impossible to pass. Not including all the SYW points I earned. It was practically free. At the least, my kids' friends will think I got them $80 Lego sets for their birthday. Social currency.2 points
