I just called and actually was connected to a competent person who understood what I was telling them about the sign, but they had to confirm with the store. They told me they wanted to save me a trip and called the store to confirm. After that 75% back was added to my account, which was $56.63 of a $75.15 transaction.5 points

Nope. $11.70. I got excited when My CCC alert popped. I see they are on the sticky now. Sorry all. I just wanted to share. And give a friendly jab @Phil These words make no sense to me.4 points

Brown Vs Blue Rob Johnson said in the Celebration Orlando panel that he always thought Han's coat was blue. It wasn't until they wanted to redo the minifig, and contacted Lucasfilm, did he find out that no, it is Brown. I just didn't want to mention the panel until after the quiz was over, since it was going to be my final question. Oh, good question. It was Rob Johnson. Both of you got it right, Seapotato was faster.2 points

As we mentioned in the first post, there are prizes. The mods need to confer (figure out who is ponying up for what), and we'll contact you soon about them. Thanks everyone for playing! I hope you enjoyed the format and the questions, and most importantly, had fun with your fellow BrickPickers.2 points

I'll be honest, that store in Fitchburg is nice but I'll almost never buy anything there (at least any set or used set) Everything is very overpriced and I only ever go there to check out what some sets look like for eyeing up online or in bulk and to possibly grab a few pieces here and there just cause it is fun to search but I really dislike it that they don't have parts by type for sale behind the counter. I've seen people bring in large sets and to me not get enough store credit for it as well. I get that it is a business but it's near robbery it seems at times. A store I love going to is south of Atlanta called Atlanta brick company. Extremely reasonable prices on used sets. You can buy exact pieces and types there as well and the price per pound isn't terrible, or is much lower than my local one in fitchburg. I know this isn't the most glowing of reviews but it's an honest review.2 points

Visited this store today in Madison WI area thanks to tip from @Kevink24. Pretty cool store but it's not cheap (rocket raccoon polybag $20 for example). Couple people were buying overpriced sets which made me want to catch those customers outside and give them my number lol. They had UCS MF on display that wasn't for sale. When I asked about it, I was told that it's a set that was put together by a customer who put it together from loose bricks showing what awesome parts and pieces can be purchased there...yeah right.2 points

I think any set with a unique mini is probably one to get and hold. The U-Wing and the Resistance X-Wing are on my short list.2 points

Found batman movie sets 70901 and 70902 for $10 each at costco. (been$16 the since they popped up in march there) Also batmobile for $40 was $46 I left them on the pallet and will go back next week to see if they are 50% off. I went to the other two costcos near me and I couldnt find legos so YMMV P.S. Funny that people were giving me weird looks for buying in bulk at costco2 points

OK... one more story. Same Walmart as that last one... so I go there today to find one last 75919 Indominus Rex for $99. I look it over... it's got a little pinching from the security spider but otherwise in great shape. I'm in a hurry, but luckily I find no one in line at the 20 items or less lane. I hand over my item. She scans it, and I get out my money. She starts working the security spider. Obviously she doesn't have much skill at it... she's struggling with it... she's straining. I see the wires pulled extra tight, digging deeper and deeper into the box edges... but I control myself. Now... instead of laying it down and working on a nice flat surface right in front of her (the conveyor), she decides to pick it up and jam it half-diagonal cockeyed between the conveyor, her knee, and the bagging carousel. She continues to work at it... twist it... tug it... veins are starting to become prominent on her forehead (and mine)... then I stop her, "WAIT a minute!" I lift the box out of her hands and show her... when she jammed it down on the bagging carousel, she actually had skewered the box onto one of those metal prongs that the bags hang from. There's a hole right in the middle of the back of the box the size of a quarter. "Oh... sorry... do you want to exchange that for another?"... "That's the only one you have," I tell her... and just walk away.2 points

This is a first for me: Found this in the Lego aisle today... My son and I looked at it more closely. It looked like Kai's head was there, and the bad guy's head-gear, but no legs, no torsos... other parts missing as well. I found a hourly schlep looking like he was killing time in the toy department, and showed it to him. I explained that my son and I are "experts" and we can tell that this bag is missing LOTS of parts... if anyone were unlucky enough to buy it, they'd be very disappointed... you really should remove this from the shelf. He took it from me. Didn't say a word. Looked like he was going to wait until I left the area, so he could put it back on the shelf ...2 points
