  3. $19.37 price is now walmart's online price for Darth Vader 75111. amazon is price matching. limit 3 for nonbusiness accounts. this is almost the lowest price for this set - got down to $19.19 a few times during the holiday season. i was shocked last night when i was sneaking some of these in from the car and was caught by my wife but instead of the eye roll scold, she was like "Cool - when did this one come out - we should build it." huh? next thing she'll starting busting ruby tuesday salad bar rhymes. maybe kale instead-a.

  4. TLG employees hard at work making the calculations for your "sort by: Price: High to low" request. If a valve burns out before they get the results, you're out of luck.

  8. I've noticed a trend selling on eBay, the more questions a buyer asks, the more likely they are to be a pain in my backside after the sale is complete. Just like a funko buyer "can you please pick the best box you have to send? Box condition is very important to me." Nope, buy from someone else.

  17. darth vader 75111 constraction figure (best of the bunch imo) is on stealth sale with in store price of $19.37 at virtually every walmart store in my search zone. i stumbled on 3 at this price while hitting the honey hole and checked the online trackers which showed the price at the few stores with remaining stock. online price and shipping price still at $21.99. i'm cleaning up little remaining stock seems like a chip shot to $60 once this one goes EOL which will hopefully be soon.

  18. Ok here is what I have. I feel quite certain 34 bags is the magic number. 3 of those 34 bags are "soft plastic bags" with multiple bags inside. I have two extra bags of parts that are identical to 2 of the bags pictured. they total the 1 pound overage I stated previously. I will report back if I end up with no missing pieces. So that way we can confirm, that this is indeed the exact bag count. All plates are accounted for too BTW. Fingers crossed!!

  21. How much does he want 25% / 50%. If it were me I’d pay him, write it off and move on. For me the aggravation of having to deal with someone that isn’t going away and a GSP sale, wouldn’t be worth the few quid it would cost to make it go away. A higher priced item sure I’d fight it. For a % of £14, no. Save your principles for when it’s real money.

  23. TLG were asking themselves the same question when they were planning the site's relaunch last year, but eventually they decided to just take what they could get from their friends at NASA and re-used that old heap of code you can see there.

  26. I'd rather post here than do more work in the office. Just finished and not counting mini-figures as any gauge of completion cause many have heads or torso's missing. * Mos Eisley 75052 - missing zero pieces, at least that I can remember * Desert Skirff 9496 - Missing 3 pieces, the two back larger brown ones and one clear piece for the stand * Tie Advanced Prototype 75082 - Missing 1 piece, the top hatch * The Phatom 75048 - missing zero pieces *Working on 7965 - just started book 2. so far so good Then there are another 10-15 or so sets in the lot ranging from small to medium builds (Monsters 9468, I know I have 1/2 of kylo ren's ship, Ninja house 70728, down to some ninja saucer things and racers). I would guess that I got more instructions than what is in there based on the mini-figures or parts of mini-figures included, but I'm hopeful I can complete a bunch more. All for $100 which was pretty awesome. I'm debating on parting out the falcon or selling it as is when done. I already have one for myself and after paying myself about a quarter per hour I'll be able to break even on this bulk lot fairly easily and move onto the next one.

  31. There's been 30+ posts on the matter, and I still don't know how I feel about it. I fear I've lost the ability to form opinions on the internet when nobody is resorting to personal attacks, Hitler analogies, or sarcastic memes... Come on guys, you're gonna have to work alot harder here to make a compelling argument!

  36. Why on Earth would that turn off people outside the USA ? This is a piece of history, when Humanity showed what it can do if it focuses on a single goal and put our vast resources into achieving it! President John F. Kennedy announced in 1961 that before the decade was finished mankind would put a man on the moon. It was a huge undertaking, but America did it, and the entire world was witnessing the Moon landing in awe and excitement. It was not just a huge achievement for the USA but for Mankind, as Neil Armstrong so eloquently said when he took his small step down the ladder onto the surface of the Moon! Too bad I was born in 1971 and so I wasn't yet around to witness it. But knowing that a human walked on the Moon still fills me as a fellow human with pride! And now I just hope to live until the first human sets foot on Mars... To answer the question directly: those words of the United States of America belong on this historic spacecraft and I wouldn't want it any other way!

  38. When I have an item that a box snob could easily have issues with, I make sure to put a "if you are looking for a pristine box, please buy elsewhere" phrase in my listing. I still have pics, and I know it won't really cover me if they absolutely complain but I'm hoping that their own common sense will tell them to go elsewhere.

  39. At least 5 times online 25% or more including 17 days after release is a little peculiar though. Sept 17, Oct 21, Nov 4, Dec 11, and late April not to count the people who got it in store at B&N as well. That is a bunch of discounts in the first 7 months.
