42039 started last night and finished this morning! With the organization of the bricks, a process that fulfills my OCD needs, this build took just over 4 hours! Easily one of my favorite Technic builds...right up there with the 8458 Silver Champion and the 8466 4x4 Offroader. Snagged this used on BL for a good deal.7 points

Brickpicker's June 1 will be like. I'm Absolutely in Love! Price is just spot On. This year after mediocre 2016 is going to be amazing for us in terms of great releases. Can't wait to get this in my hands dive into the story of the historic shuttle and entire mission then display it proudly next to my CUUSOO Hayabusa6 points

LEGO is so shortsighted if they are still making business decisions based on combating resellers. We are the least of their problems right now.6 points

See my screenshots. I used a 15% off 1 toy coupon to get the 21124 down from $49.40, a $10 off $50 (21124+21119) to get 21119 down from $16.46, and a $5 off $20 to get 41118 down from $23.99. That's what KMart is all about.4 points

So Ford should give up on the mustang because it's just a redesign? Both sets are total rebuilds from scratch. Give their designers the credit they're due.4 points

absolutely stunning they should have a new name for sets like this Lego Masterpiece series feel like I am in Hunstville AL4 points

I ordered 4 first or battle packs and was excited when they arrived yesterday... well, the white velcro walking shoes that I received are going to be missed by someone. I hope they enjoy my stormtroopers. I still got my $10 point rewards points, so maybe it'll work out in my favor when I swap them at the store.4 points

Yes you are acting like a bad buyer. He delivered what was shown in the pictures and you are going to waste a ton of his money shipping these back and forth. When you are buying a bulk lot based on the pictures it is somewhat of a gamble buying used bulk lots it is used bricks, incomplete sets no guarantee of any minifigures unless the seller gives sa specific count or you can clearly see in the pictures. No minifigures or items were pictured that you did not receive so to me it is as described. Where do you draw the line you buy a bulk lot because you see part of a tie fighter and return the lot if it does but not all all the figures for this set buried in the bulk bricks... You and anyone one here encouraging you are the problem on these sites he is probably posting somewhere how you are trying to scam him on a bulk lot used he sold as is and now you want to return because there are not enough minfigures that were once with the sets when they were bought new...Too bad all you need is credit card and a pulse to buy online it takes a lot more to be a seller...You go get him with not as described claim and make the post office 50-100 so he can get his items back even though he delivered the items as pictured. Your biggest problem is they just did not include as many minifigures as you thought it should have based on the sets when they were bought new. These sets now make up a bulk used lot of bricks...Good Grief4 points

Ah yes, the ever popular LEGO manager information pipeline. That's always good for a laugh. There are literally posters on this board with significantly more credible information than the average LEGO retail store manager. Now I concur and believe that a 10179 remake is possibe, probable even, but I'm not buying any sort of corporate communication memo went out detailing the release reason as "hurting resellers"4 points

This was me. I have only sold via FBA and out of the blue was booted for IP violation and possibly selling inauthentic items. It can happen to anyone anytime even if you think you are 100% good to go and you do everything perfectly. I never got an exact answer as to how/why this happened (they don't give that info up) but I have to assume that if there are complaints about something you are selling is counterfeit they will pull certain sellers whether that is random or what I have no idea and boot them and leave it up to them to prove themselves. Guilty before proven innocent. I'm putting eggs back in the basket but with the knowledge that at any time some clown might stomp through my hen house and smash them all to bits.3 points

2 redesigns (3 with the falcon) and a third party design? Nah, I think they could do a bit more to live up to the "Creator" name.3 points

We have certainly been spoilt for new release news this week.3 points

A parent selling toys that their child no longer plays with can't be expected to know every detail about the item. They know that Johnny had lots of LEGO, we've gathered all the we can find (60 lbs worth), and this is what there is. Are they meant to research that every minifig piece is correct? Would you open a not as described if they said that Obi Wan was included, and when you get it, the legs were wrong? It appears that some here would. If I had a selling platform, my primary rules for both buyers and sellers would be - Be honest, be fair, and don't be an ass.3 points

One scam I'm seeing a lot on eBay lately (then again, maybe it's old news... I don't shop on eBay a lot)... I see hijacked accounts run dozens of auctions for $100 - $300 items - sometimes Lego, sometimes game consoles... whatever - all the auctions will end on the same day, at the same time. Clearly the seller is looking to collect what he can on that day, and scoot before Paypal figures it out. For the most part, pretty easy to spot: items always are stock photos from the web. Whenever you see a Lego Sandcrawler on auction with a stock photo, for example, just click on "See other items" from the same seller. You'll often find 15 or 50 other auctions ending exactly the same time... that plus seller history showing they haven't sold anything in a year = scammer.3 points

Fake. Only ebay Noobs price things without 99 cents at the end. Plus it´s a Toshiba and the logo doesn´t line up with the screen. On the other hand, it´s a Toshiba...2 points

we need to see the actual listing (picture and wording) in order to see the whole picture. how much are you paying for that 60lb lot? without all these fact, i will assume it is just a soccer mom normal parent selling his son junk. if you are paying $4-5/ lb, i do not see this is an SNAD case. if you are paying $10+, maybe you can argue a little.2 points
