What are all you guys gonna do when Kmart finally shuts the doors ?? First issue: what are you going to with your extra 5 hours a week you're saving from not having to figure out Kmart's uber complicated rewards system? Second issue: what retailer is going to let you shop at their store and take merchandise off their hands for a net loss now?5 points

It's probably something like this. Notice how the corners are SNOT built ? and not hovering or anything, they're on the smooth part of the corner5 points

May want to call the store and ask to be sure. I'm running under the assumption that they will either forget they're doing reservations, or, after the first hour/the reservation line is gone, they will start giving them out to whoever shows up.3 points

The problem with that statement is: That last sentence still gives the buyer the option to say "ok, I waive my rights and want it in an envelope", which holds no value should the buyer put in a claim with Paypal once the item arrives damaged. I do not budge on the tracked shipping. I have this in my Shipping terms. ALL items will be sent with tracking, and I even include that items over a certain threshold will be sent with signature requirement as well.3 points

I have to give them credit, I hadn't set foot in a Kmart in 20 years until I started slingin' in Lego. Now I have office furniture, a nice wooden table and all the disposable cups I can use from Kmart. It's my go to for anything disposable, like toothpaste and deodorant.3 points

Of course, I forgot the sacrificial chicken! I'll chalk that up as a rookie mistake.3 points

They might want to keep Ferris Wheel around a bit longer to support the sale of the new Carrousel. Maybe an early 2018 retirement... I do agree with you regarding Temple of Airjitzu. It's definitely (in my estimation, heh heh) going to get retired before 2018 arrives. The Village I don't find too likely to retire this year. It's not even a year old yet! If the Minecraft sets sell well enough, then there's room for both The Village and the Mountain Cave sets. SHIELD carrier is pretty much a sure bet to be retired this year. Regarding Slave-1 and TIE Fighter ... I'm guessing the Slave-1 will go before the TIE Fighter, and is a likely candidate for retirement by end of this year. TLG might surprise us by moving the Mini Cooper to retirement before the VW T1. I believe the T1 sells better than the Cooper, even after all these years of availability! Tower Bridge ... Yeah, it's long overdue time for it to go.2 points

The Streetview promotion is back, 24 sets to choose from to get the 4 little tiny modulars: http://www.toysrus.ca/family/viewall/index.jsp?ab=TRU_PDP_LegoStreetviewGWP_04212017_EN&categoryId=85305826&overrideStore=TRUSCA There's nothing good to part out at that price, but it may be interesting to some!2 points

The Mine and Ender Dragon have been good investments for me. We´ll see how the Vilage does when it´s gone but I don´t think it´s a worth seller than ToA. Those Minecraft sets move units at Xmas time but it does seem weird that both themes are going to get such large D2C sets with 2 still on the market, in Europe at least. I´m guessing that Ferris Wheel, ToA and The Village will all retire this year along with SHIELD, Slave and Tie Fighter plus our old friends T1 and TB. 8 in 8 out would be too logical, though.2 points

I bought this lot off of Craigslist. The seller listed the Lego truck and I emailed him to see what else he had. This is what he brought. 3 have instructions. He was asking $60 and I bought it for $40... Maybe 15-20 cents on the dollar which is higher than I like, but the sets are near complete and already built (separated). Like nearly every other seller I find on CL he "just sold a set last week... I think it was Green Grocer" lol. There's also a bag of 8 Toy Story figs ~$5-10 @. Lego truck is missing all sticker parts, but I have half of them in stock. About 10-12 parts missing total between the sets. Monster Fighters - Mummy Monster Fighters - Werewolf Monster Fighters - Vamp Hearse Monster Fighters - Crazy Scientist Lego Delivery Truck - needs $5-10 in parts Toy Story - Pizza Planet Creator Log Cabin2 points

The picture is pretty crappy but those are listed under train track parts. https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?catType=P&catString=128 The plates are sleeper plates and the rails appear to be "slotted rail" parts. Not very much value there.1 point

Whenever I smell something fishy about the shipping I tell the customer that I print labels through PayPal for the accountability, through the USPS tracking, and for the extra assurance through their Seller Protection. Stamped envelopes do not qualify for this. In order for me to ship in a stamped envelope, you would have to forfeit all rights to make claims against lost or damaged mail.1 point

At least the new one is a Syliure-31 long-range hyperdrive module, where the old one was a Syliure-45 hyperdrive module. So it isn't really a remake.1 point
