I like to take pictures of my swag when I return from Star Wars Celebration. I know this pile of items is small compared to most attendees and I included the KMart items from the 2 stops on the way down. I took the family this time, so my swag collection was very limited. I spent most of the time following my son and our group. I had to keep an eye out for all our kids, so I didn't get to browse or shop much this time. Anytime I looked at something for 2 seconds, it seemed one of our kids disappeared or were engulfed by a wave of con goers. We received very late notice (Thursday evening), but we're very lucky. Each of my family members who entered the LEGO exclusive lottery won. We feel very fortunate. None of my friends or their family members entered, don't get me started on that.14 points

Hey guys! It's Brickson! Soo.. it's come to this. I need funds, got credit cards to pay back before I move to Japan. Japan guys! Selling this thing is such a PITA though. Either I gamble for 5K on Amazon.com (pray it's not one of the guys who returns it), or craigslist and hope they don't hope it then "change their mind" (I've heard the police station has a meeting area to avoid a stabbing). Or...? How about only dealing with a reputable member at Brickpicker. Seems like a better choice. Or Bricklink... So here we are, you, I, and a 10179. I'll sell it 30% lower than I can find it anywhere else. $3000 USD. That's still about a grand profit for holding on to it for 2 years. Original box. Mint, no damage at all. It's not the first edition that has the seal on it though. I think it was made a couple years later (2009/2010). I got it from an official Lego Ambassador, good guy, if you're interested I can give you his LinkedIn to verify. I'll upload pics if somebody's actually interested. It was taken out of the original box only twice AFAIK, once when I bought it to verify, once to take a pic for this forum (I'm talking about the packing box - its sealed ofc). Only selling to reputable/long time members. Shipping double boxed fedex, or pickup in Vancouver BC, Canada. Best, Eric2 points

We need some one to start a counter-rumor saying that it is NOT going to be remade, for sure. Maybe you can pay a blogger $1000 to say it, so you can cash out now.2 points

Have you tried any of the Star Wars forums? There are still those collectors out there that may want it and haven't heard the rumors.2 points

Took advantage of recent eBay £1 FVF offer and wanted to clear space so priced to sell and sold following in 2 days. 2 x Artic Truck for £65 each, buy in £30 each Wall-E for £70, buy in was £25 T-rex Tracker for £100, buy in was £20 using TRU Vouchers Trevi Fountain for £65 - buy in was £10 (on sale at SAH and using VIP points) Total investment £115 and a profit of just over £200 for what was a six month old with minimal fuss and a lot more than your high street savings bank or blue chip tracker fund.2 points

Its after applying points for sure. Stacks with most points back coupons and a $ off one. If your lucky, you can get a $ off coupon to stack with a % off a single toy one. I've bought a lot yesterday lol.2 points

Yes that is why I posted Enjoy. Not poofed deal is for store pickup and Target is closed today, well at least here it is. It is regional a lot of stores still showing stock. Not a loophole Amazon does this all the time on many items just go to the page and look for the "Trade in Now" button in the upper right hand corner. If you can secure 2 (most you can trade in per account) for target store pickup do the trade in now and get $43.50 in Amazon GC instantly The Amazon trade in price will plummet by Tuesday. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GPB677W/ref=olp_product_details?_encoding=UTF8&me=&th=1 oh target pulled the item because of SD effect2 points

Aside from being $24.99, there is also $10 off with store pickup. So that makes it $14.99 plus 5% red card discount.1 point

What's the edition size on the Detention Block? I've looked at a bunch on ebay and the highest number I saw was around 2200.1 point

B&N In-store - "20% Off on LEGO Sets $24.95 & Up". Architectural sets are not included. Some sets are discounted. I got a decent Spaceport 30% off + 10% off + the above GC deal for $53 out the door. A few other sets were marked at 25% off. I'm hopeful there's something cooking for Monday.1 point

Knock it off... for your information ExoBro is one of the most helpful members who ever regularly posted. Calling him a big sook is not cool and just proves his point that people somehow feel that the anonymity of the internet allows them to act like immature children making fun of each other in the school yard. Guess what folks, in 2017 that's no longer acceptable behaviour for kids. Why would you think it is for adults? PS No need to reply, PM me if you don't agree or wish to discuss further.1 point

Assuming that everything is close to complete and you don't mind putting forth the work to sort and put everything together $200 isn't a bad starting price. If I saw the lot and could tell everything was in good shape and mostly sorted I MIGHT go as high as $350-$400. With that lot I would plan on selling the Farnsworth, Camel, Star Destroyer, Shuttle Adventure, De Lorean right away. I would hang on to Trevi, Mini Cooper, and Ecto for a while to let them rise in price a bit. T1 I would either keep or sell depending on my mood and how much I paid for the lot vs how much I got for the sets I sold. The rest I would sell the mini figs then sell the mixed bricks by weight. One note about Architecture sets, the larger ones SUCK to pick out of a bulk lot, not as bad a bionicle or hero factory, but a pain none the less.1 point

That's correct. Walmart doesn't do ship to store and PM the store price. If you want that price you have to find it in store at that price. And if it's out of stock then you're out of luck at that store.1 point

Used 6211 Imp Star Destroyer (my 4th one in 12 months, working on #5 now) w/ instructions, no box. In for $32 out for $133 net after fees ($10 buy-in + $22 in parts... original owner glued the 4 most expensive parts :P). $100 profit is ok on this one since I inventoried but never assembled it.1 point

Field report: clean as a whistle I called or visited most of the 99 cents only stores between LAX and the Antelope Valley. There WERE 3 Homers that are now packed away in my carry on. Zero located beyond that. It seemed that some stores had inventory within the past few weeks, but most were bare since February. Hopefully this will help someone else hunting the last gasps.1 point
