Not Titanium Dragons, but the wife let me stop at a couple KMarts on the way to Florida. This one had a fair amount of Pegasus Sleigh left. Picked up a couple Elves Dragon Sanctuary and Titanium Dragons between this and another store. 5 transactions at about $300 after coupons and points.7 points

In one forum you're telling us you hope to get some in Florida and now you're telling us about leashes! I will echo @Phil Bs prior statement; TMI!5 points

Went on my little college viewing road trip over the last few days, ended up stopping at 8 Kmart's along the way (including the 2nd most profitable one in the country). 4/8 Had any Lego on clearance (besides Chima) 6 were at an additional 50% off clearance toys 1 was at 30%, 1 was at 25% (and strangely was acting like that was a huge deal. Had everything up at the front in a Bluelight Special zone. Employees kept telling everyone about it lol.) So it definitely wasn't a universal deal. Stop one: x6, stop 2 had 2 more (In a REALLY sketchy area, wasn't taking pictures there) Stop 7 (after 4 straight busts) Stop 8: Ended up with (All prices after coupons, surprise points, points and discount GC) x10 Mask Maker vs. Skull Grinder $9.70 each (Retail: $29.99) x5 Aira's Pegasus Sleigh $9.10 each (Retail: $39.99 - $29.99) x2 Boulder Blaster $7.83 each (Retail: $29.99) x2 Lewa Uniter of Jungle $5.04 each (Retail: $14.99, VERY happy to find these) x1 Helicopter Pursuit $11.17 each (Retail: $39.99) Some random old polybags I found. Earned around $60 in points split between my accounts deposited at various times. All in all not bad, not the MASSIVE haul I was hoping for but I'm happy with it.5 points

In honor of our recent trip to the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama and in anticipation of the new Saturn V launch in June, my daughter and I built this classic model.4 points

I don't think it was as much a shot at resellers as it was at counterfeiters. Look at all the sold units. No need to get your sets from Lėpin if you can get them from LEGO.4 points

Hi there, I build these three little sets. A funny little build within a minute. They are tiny but i think they look really like the vehicles in the film. Phil...4 points

Regardless of whether it is $600 or $800, unless this thing really sucks it is a DAY 1 purchase for me. Can't Wait. I have rued selling mine for a long time, but needed to free up money and had nowhere to display. I doubt very much that I'll end up with more than a couple copies of this one, but it will be bought.4 points

You have achieved broken record status. "Hey everyone, I am done, game over, no more investing for me, I'm not buying. Guess what, i am done, I sold everything, blah blah blah." I love your knowledge of lego reselling, but lets get passed the "TabbyBoy is Over and Out" routine for a bit ok?4 points

Ok yep, built it. Really cool! I'll put it with my tiny little MINI Cooper I got a while back. Thank you!!3 points

My most recent order at LEGO Shop at Home was on Friday, to enjoy the triple VIP promo, and a mini VW Beetle was added as well. It shipped the same day and arrived on Saturday. Got a grand total of three mini VW Beetle sets.2 points

I built mine the other night. I love it. It's just a fun little set. If you get a hold of more, hold them but build this one. While this set should appreciate well, this is no 10179. This won't get any higher than $50-$60 at best best best. (Also, hanging out on here seems to be rubbing off on you )2 points

Alright, here's how it works: $5 off $30 applies to the purchase price BEFORE the BOGO40% promo. In my case, since I was at $29.98, I had to add a small polybag (on sale for $1 off) to get the coupon to apply. Then the BOGO applied, and then my rewards came off of the total. Unfortunately they reset all their sales prices (except on polybags) when this promo started.2 points

I have no sympathy for anyone hoarding the original USC MF and has waited too long to sell. It's been in huge demand for years, so you snooze you lose. It was hardly going to go much further than £5K and to be honest, how much does a kit have to reach before people shift it. If I had one, as soon as it hit £5K I'd have sold it. Failing that, the ultimate warning was the re-release of the Death Star last year. People can't complain on this one, they have had ages to make a fortune on it.2 points

Mostly the smaller sets with MSRPs between $10 and $20 that are already marked 20% off before the BOGO. Stunt Car and Fishing Boat are new, but many sets similar to those have only been lasting for 1 year over the past few years and the sale gets them down to around $7 and $13.75 for me respectively after tax...when you add in the fact that Target is not applying quantity limits to most of the sets in this sale, it equals a very expensive Sunday morning for me.2 points

I reckon both will be done in q4 this year so you should hold on till then - what difference does 6 months make when they have been kept for years? Both of them have substitute models in the Beetle and Big Ben and this year was the overlap.2 points

No everybody has the Rollercoaster, but $100 set for $64 is pretty good, and this set was voted top set last year, not sure how long it will be out, but I will have mine and won't have to worry about getting anymore.2 points

I think one of the best deals at Target is the Friends Amusment Rollercoaster $64 Each is a great price. I see this set being like the Summer Riding Camp that was a Lego and Toys R US Exclusive a few years ago, and brings $200 and up. I got 16 of them at $64, and might get a few more.2 points

I'm starting to feel this way myself. My current display collection is mostly medium-sized sets (UCS X-Wing sized) with little room for giant sets. I'm about to disassemble my 10019 Rebel Blockade Runner since I need to make room for the upcoming Snowspeeder. I think I'm just getting jaded over the UCS MF. Last year I would have been the first in line for a 10179 remake no matter the price, but now I'm less excited. Unless there's something special with the initial release (number certificate or something) I will likely wait out.2 points

TRU has it for $5.99 currently. Prices matched on their eBay store as well (free shipping after $29) [emoji6]2 points

Not sure about LEGOLAND Florida (although I imagine it's the same) but at LEGOLAND California if you purchase a ticket and then exit the park within 60 minutes you get a full refund. You can tell them that you're there to shop and they will tell you the same. You go to the regular ticket window, buy your ticket. When you're done shopping go to the Customer Service window outside the park. If you spent money to park, they will refund you your parking if you spend $20.2 points

Yep...The secondary market as a whole will be affected if the main collectible sets are being re-issued, but the UCS STAR WARS sets will take a huge hit. The UCS theme will never be the same. It's a trickle down effect. People have been given plenty of opportunities to sell their 10179s, but the theme will lose its status as the top of the LEGO food chain if the new version is the same or better than the original. The new version will never appreciate anywhere close to the 10179. There will be some quick flip money to be made with early shortages, but unless it is uber-expensive or a short production run, you are better off looking to non-STAR WARS sets. The knockoffs don't help either...2 points
