Finally, after a lot of coaching and advice from @Sfcommando14 I decided to dip my toes into FBA. Oh boy, how stupid am I that I never tried this before ..... My items became available yesterday at 4pm and this morning at 11am, and as of right now I have already sold: 5x 41111 Friends Party Train - $14 (buyin $4) - 100% ROI after fees 5x 70801 TLM Melting Room - $28 (buyin $5) - 250% ROI after fees I landed straight in the buy-box for both listings, and nobody repriced. All I did was price within $1 of the lowest FBA price, no real undercutting or anything. Thank you mr. Bezos!10 points

To complete my first 24hr tally: 3x 41171 Emily Jones and the Baby Wind Dragon - $24 (buyin $2.50) - 500% ROI after fees And no, I did not undercut anyone on that one, just matched the lowest FBA price.7 points

Oh good, a Lego selfie stick. I knew there was something we were missing...5 points

It gets blown up. Rey screams "you got a pilot, let's get to the quadjumper" - or something like that, then a tie fighter comes in and blows it up. Then they are forced to take the Falcon. So it did play a minor role in the film. I have to admit, I have bought a few of those 20.00 figs. . Doesn't bother me much because some other idiot buys sets I hold for 2 to 3x what I paid for them... so its an exchange of idiocy!5 points

Picked this up day 1 and finally got around to finishing it. Gotta say i was all for this set at first with the idea that i'd put it with the rest of my ship fleet. However i found that it looks way too small and puny next to even the Black Pearl. The lack of sails really takes away from it's display value in a fleet imo. For $250 CAD i feel like it should at least look a bit more imposing than QAR/BP. The scale issues sort of bothers me, like the small doors on the deck that can't fit minifigures, and of course the small canons. And then we have this big bell on the deck that is minifig scale.. just makes it all seem jumbled. Even though i don't play with my sets; the lack of a captains quarters was disappointing. However on it's own like i have displayed below... i think it's actually really nice. It's fun to play around with the sails/masts and really give it a "ghost" look. Build was pretty fun, both sides of the ship were fairly different and not symmetrical. Bottom line: i like it, but only displayed on it's own away from the other ships.4 points

Sold 63 Dimension Packs via CL: 29 Scooby 24 Portal 2 5 Bart 5 BTTF Total made was $305. Pretty much $5 a pack except for the Bart packs which sold for $3. I was hesitant at first to sell but since I was selling so many at once I figured why not. I didn't want to hold on to these forever. I had a great time selling these.4 points

It's the sellers with auto-pricers that adjust down a penny when you match their price who are really annoying.4 points

You have to first enroll in eBay bucks. You will know if your enrolment is active by seeing eBay bucks earned on BIN listings regardless of promotions. Sold the thirteen I had. Made about 40$ each. It prompted me to dump my tower bridges, palace cinemas and various high ticket items collecting dust with which I view don't have bright futures.2 points

Disney or not, STAR WARS sets have been prone to remakes since Day 1 of the theme. That is just the way that it is. The trick is figuring out which sets will not be remade or improved. There is usually some time between releases to resell. The problem is these new "retro" movies are giving LEGO an even greater opportunity to duplicate vehicles and characters once thought long extinct.2 points

Is it just me or does Lego just do a WAY better job capturing the likenesses of the Freemaker characters than say, Force Awakens or Rogue One. You would think they'd spend more time and money getting the major film characters done better, but these look JUST like they do in the show. #LazyLego2 points

It appears 10% EBay Bucks w/ $50 purchase may be on tap for today. This will be the first time I've ever been able to use a coupon and also get EBay bucks back. It's one of those targeted $15 off $75 coupons I received in an email with a crazy code.2 points

Love the idea that a battle pack can just be a collection of a theme(bounty hunters in this case) instead of just "bad generic guys" vs "good generic guys". If they would start making these as more companion packs to add named figures that we don't have to the Lego SW universe it would be great. Make a Mos Eisley "battle pack" with characters we haven't gotten yet like the Imperial Spy, cantina aliens, etc. I like army builders as well, but a curveball like this one is great to add new figures to collections without lego forcing out a terrible set that makes no sense just to throw in an exclusive figure.2 points

Eh? I wasn't talking about those specific items, just in general. I shouldn't have quoted you, so sorry about that because the comment wasn't really directed to you but to anyone who doesn't know that auto-repricers are a thing.2 points

Remember to check your offerbase. This just popped up. Never seen one where you have to redeem your current points. Oh, an update for the "Intro to Shop Your Way" video. Still working on it (scripting and collecting information currently) my goal is for it to be finished during spring break. As others have said, lets hope they don't fold by then lmao.2 points

My son and I were checking out some of the 2017 set pictures. He was mad when he saw the Quadjumper set. I asked why. "Dad, one of those figures is exclusive to a Lego book I bought!" I asked why is that bad. "Because now if they have another one, the value will go down!" He's 8. Never been so proud.2 points

I love targeted Ebay promos ?. Going on 0/100 over the past 2 years. I do have the correct settings to receive promotions. Bitter, party of one...1 point

I purchased the Poe Dameron and Lor San Teeka figs recently off bricklink. Spent about 17.00 for both of them... So far, it's the only force awakens set my son doesn't have in his collection, although I also think i'll do the same to the Rathtar set. I find it better doing it that way than spending 60 or waiting until Walmart has a half off clearance on it, then trying to land one then. I'd probably spend 17 in gas just trying to beat other brickpickers to the fray (although I have done it before). Plus, my son already has the other x-wing with Poe Dameron, and he didn't need two x-wings that are the exact same build with just a different color. Also, I have no interest in becoming one of those guys that buys sets at a discount, then parts them out. With a full time job, and all the other jazz that goes with it, I don't have the time to do that. So, I hope the new battle pack with the exclusive Bounty Hunters is a move in this direction. If it is - great. I'm all for it. I'd like cantina aliens, maz kanata castle aliens, or prequel based jedi packs. Bring it on!1 point

I concur with the general tone of this thread. I love the SW advent calendars, and have bought them all, but if something doesn't change between now and its release, this may well be the first that I skip. I don't know what the draw is, but so far it eludes me. There are so many great candidates yet to be given the santa treatment, that calling this BB-8 effort "lazy" is probably an insult to the term.1 point
