This MOC is designed by BaronSat and is basically a proper Rancor pit / base for the Jabba's Palace.11 points

Found out a couple weeks ago that my wife is pregnant, so I set up some minifigs for a little baby announcement. However, after her first doc appointment, I had to modify it a little bit...10 points

My son and I built one of his birthday presents, 76059 Doc Ock's Tentacle Trap. It will go great with the Battle Bridge.6 points

I wouldn't wait if you want to get these speed champs. The free beauty and the beast build is tomorrow and it's been advertised on Facebook all week, so I expect there to be more than the usual amount showing up for that. The price tag showing the "was $65" inflated price will make this look like an even better deal and they will probably go pretty quickly.6 points

The set has been built for a while but we had an acrylic case (no bottom) made for it and the Tower Bridge. I know the plastic is still on... leaving it until it finds a home in our LEGO room. If anyone is curious, it's 1/8" acrylic made locally to my exact measurements. Big Ben's was just $50 and TB was $70 and they made them in three days after I paid. (Canadian funds so around $2 US )6 points

Took my just turned 5 year old son to hockey tryouts. Ordered his jersey and got the schedule. 18 weeks of on ice time committed to today. And in SoCal no less.4 points

TRU was showing few of the 75875 ford raptor & hot rod for $25 plus tax, but I wasn't sure if I should go to a location that was showing them possibly in stock or likely in stock. i went for the first one. They only had 3. $25 + tax each paid with 15% off GC. checked the TRU site within 30 minutes again. Pretty accurate.3 points

I swear if any more resellers contact me about my CL listings and then try to explain to me why I'm doing things wrong and why I should sell them stuff for nothing, I'm going to agree to the price and I'm going to instruct them to meet at a parking lot at some shopping center out in the boonies. Then about 15 minutes after the meeting time I'll email them and say I got held up and I'll be there in like 20 minutes and then block their email.3 points

clearly pseudoty's account has been hacked because of the conspicuous absence of a well-manicured thumb. hopefully these are still in stock on monday when i have a day off to hit some far flung tru.3 points

My son was sick today (though not too badly) so in between work calls we built the Imperial Assault Hovertank 75152 together. He has a few Lego sets that he got as presents that he has been waiting to build with no sisterly help, so today was a perfect day for it in his mind. Not a great set from my point of view, but nice playability for him and decent minifigs.3 points

Best I've got for you is $20 off $150 (Sears). Otherwise the $15 off $75 might be your best bet (yes, it's a KMart coupon but it'll work on Sears unless it's toys only - didn't check).2 points

BrickSync is the solution. Basically makes BL your inventory, and gives you 2 storefronts (BO and BL). The person you asked this question of authored BrickSync, pay him the license fee I've sold sets on BO and BL, no difference.2 points

I don't want to be a **** here, but please don't encourage this behavior. These people have zero intention of filling your order. We have 2 schools of thought on what they are doing: A.The popular belief on the Amazon Seller Forums is that these guys get enough orders that they clear some of the cash out and the rest is returned via A to Z (which is why they usually have every item priced at 9.00 or 13.00 or something dumb like that. They are able to do this because they are from other countries and have longer delivery times before people figure it out. They can set up fake "from" locations now, but the delivery times are still 1 month+ and B.The other thought is that they are doing something with your information as BA explained. The problem with both scenarios is it ties up your resources, encourages this behavior again, ties up Amazon's resources and, most importantly, makes it harder to sell on Amazon for us sellers. These guys just keep coming back again and again and again and it never ends. They are clearly getting something out of it or they wouldn't keep doing it. It also raises fees for everyone and is just a bad idea. Please don't help these guys. You are not going to get these products under any circumstances.2 points

First of all, I hope you had something to do with it (since you had to find out a few weeks ago, I wasn't sure ). Second, as parent of twins myself, congrats and GOOD LUCK ?1 point

Went to TRU b&m looking for Porsche speed champions set. Didn't find any but TRU had the Ford Raptor / Hot Rod set for 50% off ($24.99) instead. Don't know if this is unique to my store or a national sale.1 point

Amazon is being hit with a ridiculous number of scam sellers right now, seems like Amazon has been hacked hard and can't handle it. Do not purchase. You will receive nothing except the headache of going through the refund process.1 point

Depends the specific piece, but as a general rule of thumb, the colours with the highest demand are sand green, white, black, light and dark bluish grey. Then there's a second tier with trans-clear, tan, yellow, and some others. That's at least how I have it in my head. That said there are some very expensive pieces in other colors (like the roof of that Superman car in the SDCC set which is green).1 point

`Probably. To be able to drop that much money on 1 set they are going to be "busy" generating income.1 point

I put the tracking in three places: Shipping confirmation / thank you Under the tracking number tab for that order Attached to the PayPal transaction1 point

I think it's utterly ridiculous that sets of this caliber have stickers while Juniors and Ideas have printed pieces. You want the 50th iteration of Police Station to have stickers? Fine. But several hundred dollar sets should come with some semblance of an enhanced product, even if it does cost them a little more. I've ranted about this every time one of these comes out so I don't expect Lego to change but it's frustrating.1 point

I just completed packing for my very first BL order today. It took me a bit to get used to the wonky interface but I had once buyer agree after sending the invoice. Just a question to everyone out there: what do you guys use to ship and print labels? I was going to go to the local Post Office and just pay the postage there but then I remember that USPS can let you print labels at home? Is there a way to obtain a shipping discount like eBay or would it simply be face-value? Thanks for the input!1 point
-
Yes, they should. Although, TRU is YMMV for most things which might appear to be logical.1 point
-
I'll almost definitely pick this up. The only annoyance is that they've used the general Snowspeeder pilot head for both minifigures. You'd expect more from a UCS set.1 point
-
Quick build given that this isn't a classic UCS set when compared to others. I can see why this is not universally loved given it's size and also given that it is a prequel ship. Nonetheless another one ticked off.1 point
