Can't beat getting $40 worth of sets for $7, but I think $60 worth of sets for $19 is not too shabby either. Note that I am self-limited to sets that ship to Sears, which limits my options. One more note: all the points used were obtained through Sweeps in the last two weeks. No points back offers or anything. Definitely my best Sweeps fortnight so far. FREE LEGO!5 points

I think it's utterly ridiculous that sets of this caliber have stickers while Juniors and Ideas have printed pieces. You want the 50th iteration of Police Station to have stickers? Fine. But several hundred dollar sets should come with some semblance of an enhanced product, even if it does cost them a little more. I've ranted about this every time one of these comes out so I don't expect Lego to change but it's frustrating.2 points

I'd like to add that when using Paypal shipping, make sure that you copy the tracking number to your buyer's transaction so that they will see it. Forsome reason,Every time I have printed from Paypal for the past while, it doesn't link the 2 transactions.2 points

Not that brave....I did reply with a nice but slightly passive aggressive message explaining that they didnt actually buy the set and had nothing to worry about. Got a reply "sorry, that message was intended for another seller." Very next action was to add buyer to block list and say a quick prayer for the seller that is having to deal with that one...2 points

Damn fine deal for those that earned it or were very lucky. I'm gonna try and drown out my jealously (Which would be even worse if someone confirmed there was some good Bionicle) with some SYW magic now ?2 points

You'll have to enlist in the US Armed Forces. Or, if you're lucky, you have a relative who is either active service or retired to assist you with your LEGO buying needs. Or, if you're even luckier, you know a guy who knows a guy who knows another guy that can get you the sets as a member.2 points

Signing up meaning u need to enlist. Sheesh I didn't get to even see some of those you mentioned and I thought I was early to the party. Just checked not too long ago and most are gone especially the larger sets.2 points

if you think they are serious about getting rid of "counterfits" just look at todays lightning deals... https://www.amazon.com/gp/goldbox/ref=gbps_ftr_s-3_596a_page_1?gb_f_GB-SUPPLE=sortOrder:BY_SCORE,dealTypes:LIGHTNING_DEAL,enforcedCategories:165793011&pf_rd_p=af76a610-c28c-4f12-9308-ccc69eba596a&pf_rd_s=slot-3&pf_rd_t=701&pf_rd_i=gb_main&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=HSEK38GSCN01PFWDRX2H not sure how these are picked but looks like about half of them are knockoffs of lego and other brands, many of them are blatant copies...2 points

Rule of thumbs guys: If you have to click a link on a website other than Brickpicker to go to raise / best buy / etc website, that is a competing affiliate link and will be removed2 points

The more I see this set the more I like it. Good figs, good and many pieces, ghost sharks, nice detail, no stickers. Plus a good price for all of these, especially considering the licensed nature. The box cover is really unfortunate though as it somehow fails to convey the value.2 points

Love selling FBA and here are a few of my fave free tools: *** Keepa extension for Chrome: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/keepa-amazon-price-tracke/neebplgakaahbhdphmkckjjcegoiijjo?hl=en Keepa will show you the sales history and historic price, as well as Amazon's history on a listing, right on the product page automatically. Read the chart and find out that average sales rank which is far more useful than the current sales rank. *** How Many? extension for Chrome: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/how-many/fifaampimdjablpkjapdjehjcfloecjp?hl=en How Many? will display how much of each item your competitors have instock quickly and easily. 5 free uses per day. Want more? Purchase or simply re-install. Want to hide this info from your competitors using this app? Change the Max Order Quantity to the amount you want to show. *** Jungle Scout Sales Estimator: https://www.junglescout.com/estimator/ Very accurate and useful estimator to see how many units per month an item will sell for a given rank and category. Plug that average sales rank found from Keepa in and bingo. It is extremely accurate and they update it monthly to account for the changing traffic throughout the year. These are free tools we use ALOT. Have any others that you find useful then please reply and add them!2 points

easy for them to get by that though with no tracking as of now. Gaming card companies awhile ago started putting numbers on the sealed boxes that could be tracked back to the original direct dealer purchaser when they were trying to prevent online sales below MSRP. Remember the big scare, some distributors and wholesalers wouldn't sell to me for a bit cause they feared it would come back to them. Didn't last long though, got to the point where they still needed to move the product. Very few companies it pays to be direct with though because of those same reasons, just to much crap to have to buy and very little successful products for having to do so. Usually a few where you can hit hot streaks with them where it pays (McFarlands first years come to mind), but as a whole it is not a successful venture.1 point
