  2. Love selling FBA and here are a few of my fave free tools: *** Keepa extension for Chrome: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/keepa-amazon-price-tracke/neebplgakaahbhdphmkckjjcegoiijjo?hl=en Keepa will show you the sales history and historic price, as well as Amazon's history on a listing, right on the product page automatically. Read the chart and find out that average sales rank which is far more useful than the current sales rank. *** How Many? extension for Chrome: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/how-many/fifaampimdjablpkjapdjehjcfloecjp?hl=en How Many? will display how much of each item your competitors have instock quickly and easily. 5 free uses per day. Want more? Purchase or simply re-install. Want to hide this info from your competitors using this app? Change the Max Order Quantity to the amount you want to show. *** Jungle Scout Sales Estimator: https://www.junglescout.com/estimator/ Very accurate and useful estimator to see how many units per month an item will sell for a given rank and category. Plug that average sales rank found from Keepa in and bingo. It is extremely accurate and they update it monthly to account for the changing traffic throughout the year. These are free tools we use ALOT. Have any others that you find useful then please reply and add them!

  6. I just picked up a used 10197 Fire Brigade tonight for $120 off of CL. Its complete with instructions and in excellent shape beyond a bit of dust - the guy took good care of it. This is for personal build, so I'm pretty excited! He will also give me first right of refusal to his Grand Emporium for $120 once he builds it again. Its not as high on my Wanted List, but at $120 from a reliable local seller, its hard to turn down. Now to break it down, get the dust off, and build!

  14. Here's a SYW pro-tip: Go through all your daily KMart emails and click on the "Print" link for any coupon that you like. Save the codes and expiration dates somewhere (spreadsheet for example). I never realized this but all those coupons that kept on repeating each day (and I didn't use) actually have different codes. Just from last week I have 4 $10 back on $50 coupons and 3 15% off 1 toy coupons this way. You're welcome. PS: @MinifigW You can add this one to your video

  15. There are a LOT of ways to earn points on SWY. It is a game that SWY/Kmart/Sears plays to manage their business and on the fringes are a few sharp people that can take the system to task. YMMV, but here are 3 ways I've seen recently to earn big points ($100+) between LEGO purchases... * Run your Raise purchases through SYW ($400 for me in 2 months). To maximize return, wait for Raise 3-4% off weekend promos. Since the program shuts off at $5000 in GC purchases, don't waste the discount on GCs that are frequently discounted elsewhere... You may see TRU for 9+8+3 (18.8%), but TRU GCs are often on special for 15% on eBay and occasionally on sale for 20% elsewhere. Use them to max out the tougher GCs like LEGO store & WM. * Watch for in-store specials: 3 of our local stores recently had 100% points back on a ton of food and office items under $5. We ran about $300 through and got $300 in points for items we'd use anyway... mac n' cheese, snacks, tape, envelopes, candies for Christmas gift baskets, and a whole lot more. The rumor is that Kmart is going to be doing more of these in-store points back specials. Also, pay attention to the coupons printed in-store at checkout. This is where I find the 10 off 30 and points-back type of coupons. Watch for online specials on SYW and this forum: A lot of guys loaded up on points a few months ago buying discounted furniture (shelving) that was discounted + huge (50-75%) points back. A lot of it is about lying in the weeds, waiting to pounce... And on a lot of these programs the points don't expire for at least 14-30 days, which should be enough time for a Kmart item to roll around. I see a lot at 20%+ off right now and 10% back in points.

  16. There are additional pictures shown here in the (Dutch) post about the new Snowspeeder at Bouwsteentjes.info, but no shot of the underside either: http://www.bouwsteentjes.info/lego-star-wars-75144-ucs-snowspeeder-aangekondigd/

  17. I love the look of this set and it's definitely a must-have for me! Of course, I never got the 10129 set so this is the best way to get a UCS Snowspeeder for a good price.

  18. Stickers are one thing, but white stickers on a white brick is just stupidity cus inevitably the brick or sticker fade at different rates and it looks awful. Use a clear sticker for detail on a white piece for Christ sake............... Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  19. looks very good. good grief about the many stickers for a $200 set. some even look cartoon-ish like on the sandcrawler. i get it though - decrease cost / increase profit margin. hey lego, use some printed bricks for pete's sake on UCS sets though.

  24. Update on Dimension Packs that I bought 2 weeks ago as most is taken care of and I have slowed down on pushing inventory back out the door. Total Purchase Price was $300 on the head w/ tax which included the following (I think i got it all down there) A. (3) Star Wars StarScavengers $20 each B. (5) PS4 Starter Kits $20 each C. Packs for Marty McFly (2), Dr. Who (5), J. World (4), Scooby Doo (5), M:I (4), Ghostbusters (2), Joker and Harley (3) each sold for $5 each. Cash coming back in consisted of the following: 1. Total Gross Revenue - $268 2. Total Returned to Store - $60 (3 PS4 starter kits) - I just didn't want to hang onto them anymore after selling 2 bundles) 3. Total Inventory on hand still...all the SW sets and 9 Packs = $105 cost So overall, the $300 has become $328 with $105 of inventory remaining. I'm happy with that! I know it's not the 100% ROI that many of you shoot for, but I consider this as Free Lego (after some work) now and believe in the end I should be able to turn that $300 into about $450-$500 after everything is out the door unless I keep some for gifts. 25. Meijer shoppers: $5 back in Mperks Rewards with each $50 spent on gift cards. A few exclusions, but some good ones available in store like Target, Toys R Us, Ebay... I believe the limit is 10 of the $5 rewards per account. Good until 4/8.

  26. Poor me and my 3x 41178 Dragon Sanctuary's that sold on eBay for 15% more than current FBA pricing... w/ 8% back in eBay bucks. EDIT: Sigh. Yes, still bitter to be gated from FBA... I'd buy someone's account if I could.

  32. Now that I've had some time to wash/sort/identify, here are the sets I have compiled. All are in the 95% complete range (no manuals with the lot) w/ a few pieces missing here and there with the exception of #3368 Space Center is only 75% complete. Batman I: 7785 Arkham Asylum (w/ minis) 7779 Batman Dragster: Catwoman Pursuit (w/ minis) Monster Fighters: 9468 Vampyre Castle (w/ minis) 9461 The Swamp Creature (w/ minis) 9463 The Werewolf (w/ minis) Alien Conquest: 7050 Alien Defender (w/ minis) 7052 UFO Abduction (w/ minis) 7049 Alien Striker (w/ minis) Galaxy Squad: 70707 CLS-89 Eradicator Mech (w/ minis) Lone Ranger: 79107 Comanche Camp (w/ minis) 79108 Stagecoach Escape (w/ minis) 79110 Silver Mine Shootout (w/ minis) 79111 Missing over half of the set and 1 mini 30261 Tonto's Campfire poly City: Space Port 3368 Space Center (w/ minis) 3367 Space Shuttle (missing one mini) Ninjago: 9448 Samurai Mech (w/ minis) Star Wars: 7930 Bounty Hunter Assault Gunship (w/ minis) Marvel Super Heroes: 6865 Captain America's Avenging Cycle (w/ minis) 6873 Spider-Mans Doc Ock Ambush (w/ minis) There were a few other Chima/Ninjago/Minecraft sets that I could not identify or were not worth bothering to complete the set. I will just absorb those as parts and sell the minis. I feel this was a pretty good buy for my first "used" lot from CL for $100. The lot was 18lbs of bricks and had 60 minis separated.

  35. A few BrickPickers were caught in a wave of bans for over ordering, so they are being more restrictive recently. If you don't have a pattern of over ordering, you are probably ok.

  37. It's the honest, rule-abiding re-sellers that will inevitably be hurt by these new policies/restrictions. The scammers/fraudsters will be fine, as it's in their nature to find new & creative ways to work around, and cheat the system.

  39. Does anyone else have trouble with using gift cards on purchases with coupons or surprise points? Whenever I apply a gift card my coupons and/or surprise points are removed. It is as if the gift card is counted against the threshold that needs to be spent to qualify for the coupon to work.

  42. Is your LEGO collection a mess? Is it perfectly organized so you can always find the perfect LEGO element? No matter how big your collection is (or how well organized), I'd love to hear about your LEGO collection! I'm collecting your LEGO storage ideas for an article that helps you find the best storage solutions for your small, large, or growing LEGO collection. It will also include tips and tricks from various LEGO builders around the world. To make it much easier to collect unbiased feedback, I created the following survey. (It will take less than 5 minutes, and I would really appreciate your feedback!) Take the Survey! I'm very interested to hear about what you love about your current solution, what you tried in the past but did not work well, and what you want to try in the future. I'm pretty sure the final article will have some tips and tricks even for the most experienced LEGO builders, and I'm excited to share what I learn here! Sincerely,---Tom AlphinAuthor of The LEGO Architect and designed LEGO Brick Labels.
