You would have to read around a few threads. OBTW I think you were asking me not @chinothegeeko. So in the Rewards thread and/or the TRUTH thread, to tired to look for a link, you will see that I posted Rewards R Us accounts were hacked back around October or November, I am old and can't recall, see print screen. So TRU gave me all the possible points during the earring period on both my accounts 35K and 15K. So that is where the points came from TRU. "reporting your inventory how I believe it should be reported" this I found offensive and pedantic. Oh and I can't punctuate either so no grammar police please. Let's say I drop ship well over 1000 of TRU SKUs this would give more then enough points to buy diapers and milk for the kids, except the kids are grown and gone and I am a vegan (that part is confabulation for the fun off it). I have a CPA that does taxes for people that gross 1 - 1.5 Million a month on Amazon so he handles that part. Howcome I use my rewards on Lego even though it is no longer the best investment choice IMO, well if you look at the "What set did I build today thread" you will see I have a nasty lego (notice I didn't say LEGOS) building addiction, as well as an affinity to horde Nexo Knights for my personal collection (see the Nexo thread) even though @Val-E thinks they are poop, it brings joy to my other sorrowful life. We can't all be a BTP like @ravenb99 and walk into the lego store and drop 60 Gs on cases of sets plus I don't have time for that I have a day job. So most of this will be built like the Town Homes I need to do the other 2 versions, gotta make some Ninjago Mech MOCs one of these days even though I still haven't done that with the Samurai Mech I got from @Darth_Raichu like 3 years ago. The Dino's well they are just that Dinos and one can never have enough and the blue robot is cute and cheap for a set that includes a light brick. Perhaps the cheapest set that comes with one, not sure but I bet @TheOrcKing will let us know. As far as using a Rewards CC vs cashback card or even better 20% discount GC if you look in the TRUTH thread you will see lots of chatter about partial pay and using all of them at once. Some people on here like @Bold-Arrow call it TRU magic. Not sure if I answered your question but I tried.6 points

Going to start in key west and work my way up. If it's only 15% not interested...75% off or bust! Yes looks like a similar situation (I won't say how or why don't want to give anyone ideas..if you know/remember what I said...this does look the same)4 points

Indubitably. There was the 5764 Rescue Robot from 2011 which was slightly cheaper at $16.99 but did have fewer pieces. Altogether to this point there has been a total of nineteen sets to include that specific light brick.4 points

My daughter and I spent the morning building the Pop Star Tour Bus and I am overjoyed with how happy she is with this set! My wife and I were not sure about the size of it (it seemed small) until we saw it fits nicely in the lane on a road plate. Thanks Brick Picker for showing me the light of not having to pay retail prices (got it for $35)! I spent the afternoon building the UCS Slave I. It seems much smaller and less detailed that I thought it would be. Oh wait, that is the 2016 Star Wars Advent calendar version...3 points

It's nuts, all my local targets look like this... Area slowly converting to 70% off tho. I'm not gonna bite till then. I feel Lego has been inflating their retail prices so they can discount more. $89.99 retail for this set? I don't think so...3 points

This is another Yellow Submarine situation. Where is @Lego Templar when you need him? I wish my Targets would do this. That is a big pile of easy money sitting right there. Nice score. I hope you took them all.3 points

In anticipation of the new POTC movie along with my disappointment that we didn't get news of a new "intact" ship I picked these two beauties up off of Ebay. Enjoyed the build and even more so the outcome. What I don't understand after seeing both complete in person is why there seems to be much more draw for BP than QAR because IMO QAR is a much better looking ship. To top it off I paid roughly $70 more for BP over QAR. That being said the BP alone is a beautiful ship.3 points

Again folks, if you don't have a personal shopper I highly suggest you get one! Not only did mine send us another round of $5 back on $25 coupons, but I actually won a $25 GC from her Instagram giveaway! Time for some free Lego!2 points

If you want guaranteed pristine boxes from KMart, order for pickup in a Sears store. Limited selection, but it arrives in great shape (and in a see-through plastic baggie).2 points

Local CL that I could not just bring myself to buy that was oh so tempting at $2: "Lego structure for sale. It's a Lego ship. Keep it set up as is or break it down and build something else!" https://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/bab/6030309476.html2 points

I agree with Phil B, except I will totally tell you what to buy! [emoji6] Buy what you wouldn't mind keeping. I rarely buy sets for investment that I don't fancy in some way. If a set doesn't perform like you thought, you have some great LEGO to build or give as gifts. Buy Star Wars and Superhero sets when they first come out and sell the Minifigures and vehicles separately. This will get you used to the process of listing and shipping LEGO. Also, you get first hand look at what demand is like for some of these sets and characters. I've been selling 75145 Dengar and his Swoop Bike for $17.60 shipped. The consensus is that the Eclipse Fighter is it's languishing on shelves, so people may avoid it.* At first, don't worry about what set to buy, just start selling and reading. People that do well here are pulling from a their previous selling experience when picking what to buy. You'll see the mantra, "buying is easy, selling is hard." Develop that selling muscle, and the rest will work itself out. Oh, and drive (fly?) from wherever you are to the Western United States and buy Dimensions sets which are being liquidated at 99 Cents Only Stores. *Don't buy the Eclipse Fighter. It's probably a bad investment. But what if it's not? [emoji4]1 point
