Sold 7930 Bounty Hunter Gunship. Listing said in the title, and bolded in the listing "NO INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED". Negative feedback left "no instructions included" Contact buyer for a week, no reply. Reach out to customer service, show them that in the title and bold in the listing it says there are no instructions included in the lot. Customer support tells me they support the buyers right to leave negative feedback and that they would take no action. After another week, I send the buyer a last message asking politely if there was anything I can do to better their experience and encourage them to change their rating. Response back? "Give me 20 bucks and I'll change it to positive". I send a complaint with the screenshot of the coercion from the buyer. Customer service tells me they will take no action against the buyer, but if I accept money for them changing the feedback I will be in violation of the terms of service. So I either get the unwarranted negative feedback, or breach the terms of service.6 points

I got suckered into Ninjago again. TRU had rough box City of Stiix and Final Flight DB on clearance for $49.90. Add in 15% coupon, gift cards and two freebie Nexo cases, it seemed like a no-brainer.5 points

Throughout the week... Too bad I was out buying and missed out on using the 15/45 coupon post and instead used the 10/50 coupon : ( I could have saved $5 3 or 4 times yesterday. Mostly Kmart & a few from Target. Highlights... - 4 Lots of Dragon Sanctuary for $37-42 - 4 Livi's Pop Star House $42 - 2 Emma's House $40 BTW, I had a clerk look up and then called around to see if any stores had Dragon Sanctuary and there were none... And I still found 4. I left a lot behind, anticipating 40-50% (Friends Mall, retired City sets, 3-year old creator sets, Elves, Bionicles...)5 points

Completed Trevi Fountain this evening. The horses were fiddly to keep in place. On the actual fountain, one horse is wild and the other is docile but they both felt kind of wild here! Really nice build with plenty of detail. Took a little longer than the other sets and I can see this as a desirable set in the future. I need something 'French' next to compliment my growing Architecture collection.5 points

I parted a few of those out and made my money back and then some on the figs. I don't think I sold any of the vehicles, though I built one of the bat copters for my kids to swoosh around. My 2 year old loves spinning the blades. Lego really should put helicopters in more sets...5 points

Looks like B&N is doing another 25% off $39.95 and up sets this weekend. Wife just saw something from our local store on Facebook. I checked online prices and in store pricing (including stores in other states) and found several sets on sale. I wish they'd knock it off with small sales - I worry about it eating into our (hopefully upcoming) clearance inventory!4 points

This set is growing on me. Not a fan of the Pirates movies but I could see making a cool underwater diorama using this ship as the centerpiece. Might consider buying and selling off the minifigs and doing this (or just buy the ship off someone parting it out). This little guy would look cool exploring it:4 points

Currently reading the novel A New Dawn, which covers some of Kanan's back story, including how he met Hera. There are some excellent notes about how he went on the lam, avoiding notice and making his best efforts not to use the Force. Plausible that other Jedi use similar techniques to survive.4 points

The 10175 UCS Vader TIE Advanced is coming along. Just the wings left to build. This is my 2nd time building a 10175. I still think this is one UCS set that 100% needs a refresh. The cockpit and surrounding area needs a redesign. The rest of the ship aged very nicely.4 points

Yeah I guess either that or the Riddler car from the movie. Rooting for the Riddler although we don't have either of them for personal build yet. I will say, if this is how they fulfill their online orders, it makes a lot more sense why I have received all sorts of different wacky packing methods.3 points

The Brothers Brick just posted their own review of the ship an hour ago. Minifigures shown pretty detailed as well as DEPLOYABLE ZOMBIE sharks. Some detailed shots of various angles of the ships are very different too.3 points

Ok I removed it. Fun fact! Regular eraser from a pencil did it! So on a positive note! My 2 newest additions! All that's left is 2013 Spider man/woman.3 points

So the buyer has randomly revised his feedback for some reason after putting me through hell and trying to extort money from me. I had offered him a week ago to return the item for a refund, even though I normally don't accept refunds on loose sets. He proceeded to call me many unsavory things. He hasn't requested a refund, but at least now he can't change back from a positive review, and is now blocked. There are plenty of other nutjobs for eBay to match me up with. I suppose I could be spiteful and reject a return if he does go ahead and request one, since it was listed as no returns accepted. I'd be tempted, but no good karma would be gained from that. Just wanted to share that there are unicorns out there.... even if it took one of their multiple personalities to correct a moronic move.2 points

I know I'm being a Debbie Downer here, but the more I see of the actual ship the more I get disappointed. I want to love it, but as an AFOL it feels too toy/play like than display worthy when compared to previous POTC ships. Especially at $199 retail when others were at much less. My non-LEGO friends (yes I know unfortunate) would definitely put this in the toy category. It is a very difficult ship to recreate in LEGO form and I think they did the best job possible. On a positive note I do love the minifigures and zombie sharks!2 points

From a high reputation poster on that seller central thread. The thread is 7 pages and counting. "I hate to join in on the negativity as I usually try to stay away from it all but I do have to say that we've seen an increase in scammers as of late. There are more examples then I'd like to mention here but the items we are having the most issues with are in the $150 to $250 price range. We get SC on every package and insurance but of course after the customer signs for the item there's something wrong with it. One person even claimed the factory sealed retail package which weighed 2 lbs was empty. Yes, a 2 lb 6"cube cardboard box. In each case we provided the customer with a prepaid return label just so they can return the items to us without charge and they either return us some piece of garbage which is completely different from what we sent them or they file an A to Z claim. Since the A to Z system is skewed in favor of the customer we all know how the majority of those turn out. I'm not ready to pull all our high value items off of Amazon just yet but if it continues we will have to consider it. It's painful to lose one $200 item after another. It used to be that the scammers went after the rookie sellers but now it seems like they've perfected the scam so well that they can pretty much get away with scamming any seller." https://sellercentral.amazon.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=341157&start=75&tstart=0&sortBy=date2 points

That second picture is the bogus bricks box, the Lego logo has clearly been photo-shopped over their logo for the add, it's not even straight.2 points

BTW, I'm sure most of you know this, but the cash back from whatever card isn't off the original price... so your total discount ends up at 36% + (5% * 64%) Maybe symantical, but I see it all the time.... Meijer has 10% off general merchandise today and tomorrow. Everything is overpriced at mine so there probably aren't any deals to be had even with the coupon.2 points

Dunno what it has to do with AA but the best hope for TLBM sets is a short shelf life. Penguin´s roller is an exclusive so it could be one that does OK.2 points

Waiting for Amazon to match 40% off their sets, too. (Without having to buy one at full price). It seems they've been fairly aggressive with their PM'ing lately.2 points
