I've never subscribed to that. Never saw the need. I've been on eBay since it opened. Always had one account. Never bothered me to have my selling and my purchasing in the same place. In nearly 20 years it hasn't made a difference.5 points

Nice price on the Lowrider. Doesn't beat a sealed case of minifigures for $3.92 /sarcasm https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01L1ZZSKE/5 points

Picked up a Clone Turbo Tank for $60 with the Ebay $15 coupon. The seller messaged me and offered to throw in a new $15 SW set for another $5 and I said heck yeah. I love surprises so I didn't even ask him which one lol.5 points

It's a beast! It's also one of my favorite Lego sets of all time. I don't think I can ever get myself to sell it. Here's a pic of me holding the inner frame on mine. I think the set is pretty solid with the exception of the long panels that are held on by magnets. Good luck with the sale, although you're not going to need it. I believe you got this for $100 so your return is going to be nice.4 points

That looks like a great set to teach kids about the panama canal, I really want to get one for my local school for the STEM classes. Did you order from ebay? For people wondering what this set is, here is an "automated" version of the set with power functions, the boat even moves by magic..4 points

You do realize if you buy a Scooby Dimensions pack, open the box and throw it away, you now have 2 LEGO minifigures, Scooby and Shaggy, as well as a buildable MM and a 3-in-1 Scobby snack. You also have 4 LEGO Toy pads that are great for displaying minifigs. If you don't see profit there with a buy-in of $1, I think you need your glasses checked.3 points

Honestly I want to buy that just to SNAD this guy. It's listings like this that give a bad name to eBay sellers.3 points

SPS parent here. I just want to say thank you to Ed and his family and friends for doing this. It's great to see the amount of help you've given St. Paul School. Personally, I'm also very excited to win something this year. Last year we didn't win anything other than knowing we helped SPS, and that's enough. But the Ghostbusters Fire Station would be sweet! Anyway, this year I also got some of my work colleagues to buy tickets. If they win anything, hopefully they'll let me help build.3 points

Thanks for your offer. The St. Paul community is a strong one, but not big enough unfortunately. The PTA is the best. They raised $260,000 two years ago in two months to keep the school open and $280,000 last year. The good news is that enrollment is up 25 kids this year and now the diocese sees the school as an asset and is helping more. They see the effort the families and faculty have put in to keep it open and the success graduates have in other schools. I truly believe we have gotten over the hump. That being said, I hope this is the last LEGO raffle I have to run and that the enrollment grows large enough that regular PTA fundraising will suffice. I feel uncomfortable asking for help. Everybody has issues in their lives and I ask a lot from people. I hope LEGO fans with a negative view of supporting private schools can view it as a LEGO Lottery and take a chance, even if the personal nature of it doesn't interest them. Regardless, the LEGO raffle has some awesome prizes and your chances to win this year are obviously much better this year. I am grateful for all the support and make sure people tune in on Sunday at 2PM Eastern for the Live event.3 points

Yeah, stop over thinking it, just feck the stuff back in a box and slap the label on it. If you want a more useful tip then how about this, if you get oil on clothes then rub Aloe Vera on the stain prewash to help remove it.3 points

Geez. You are letting this guy get away with being a lazy dishonest deceitful seller. I would just open a SNAD case with eBay and let them handle it for you. They will force the seller to issue a full refund and pay for shipping. This guy is not going to learn and will likely do this to other buyers. It takes seconds to add a sentence in the description about glue to his listings. He needs to know "as is" is not a blanket protected term allowing him to screw with buyers. Lego parts implies lego PARTS, not glued hunks of plastic. He's intentionally being lazy and deceitful.3 points

There's no conspiracy and no "alternative bricks" being sold at the 99 Cent Stores. Lol These stores are just like 5 Below, Tuesday Morning, Big Lots, Dollar Tree etc. They get ligit remainders all the time. Just check the pics of the sealed LEGO cases that people have been posting. And don't kid yourself for a minute. If these were fakes sold in official packaging, LEGO would have shut this down on day one.2 points

True but selling the fun packs for $5 doesn't look as bad as selling them for .99.2 points

Yeah, I'm going to have to agree on this. Batman fans + AFOLs + kids = $$$. Unless all the funny bits are in the trailers and reviews are awful. It's called a "fish out of water" story. He has to adapt to his new situation, meanwhile hilarity ensues. Didn't you like seeing Ted Danson grow in 3 Men and a Baby? What about Adam Sandler in Big Daddy? Just look at the seatbelt scene. He shows true caring for young boy wonder and consideration for the future. (for clarification, I'm not serious nor did I take your comment serious. We all know unikitty is the WORST!)2 points

Update on building 10030... So it was going well. Then I get to step 19: Crud. That's a lot of parts to gather for one step. Grebbling. Lots and lots of greenling. 16x! Ouch! So I attach it all and flip the book over (it's a large instruction book) and notice something... 2x?!? Yes. Go back to step one and do everything again. Oh my aching fingers. Here's the greenling: Here's what it looked like this afternoon, after attaching the two halves: Here's what it looks like tonight, having gotten another 10 steps into it:2 points
