Latest UCS Star Wars Build. I knew that the Imperial Shuttle was huge but still taken aback by the size of it. Side by side comparison with Vader's Tie and the AT-ST, and it dwarfs over them.13 points

My favorite ship from my childhood - 924 Space Transporter Looks like parts from 926 are in there too. But 924 - that was my favorite LEGO set when I was 10 years old. Got it brand new. Paid $20 for this.12 points

Picked up an opened Mr Gold Last summer. Used online sources and some folks to verify it (special thanks to @Mos_Eisley ). My 10x jewelers loop was also helpful What obviously worried me most is the fact this minifigure is highly counterfeited. Every element is molded in pearl gold and then painted gold. Then accents are added (like the facial black lines). Just the hands, dismond and stand aren't in the pearl gold color8 points

Sold my last 71342 Dimensions Green Arrow Polybag today. Another nice gift from Gamestop (after Iron Patriot and Silver Centurion). If only my free Kylo Ren's polybags were worth something decent ... still sitting on those In the end I worked through 14 Green Arrows: sold one pre-BF on EBay for $30, 9 as a bundle with 71340 Supergirl on EBay for $60-$70 each (making G.A. between $25-$30 as part of that mix), and 4 Amazon FBM for ~$40. All prices include shipping. So GameStop gave me ~$300. Not bad for stopping by a few times while grocery shopping.6 points

My daughter built one, and I built one (for my son). He was really only interested in Maui and the sister was not giving up her Maui. 41150 Moana's Ocean Voyage6 points

I got the quickflip bug when I found I could be the first person to list a number of sets this month on EBay. It's been more stressful than I thought as I'm constantly checking my phone and adjusting prices as competitors arrive. Here's some dates and selling prices. I will list the total cost paid by the buyer, shipping included. 12/17 41233 Lashina Tank - $47.84 12/18 41233 Lashina Tank - $37.84 12/18 41233 Lashina Tank - $38.45 12/22 41233 Krypto figure only - $12.61 12/22 41233 Kryptomite figure only - $6.27 12/27 40236 Valentine Picnic & 10737 Juniors Batman vs. Mr. Freeze - $58.88 12/28 40236 Valentine Picnic - $36.74 (shipping to Japan) 12/28 41233 Lashina Tank - $26.45 12/28 40236 Valentine Picnic - $21.44 12/28 70910 Scarecrow Special Delivery - $36.98 12/30 70910 Scarecrow Minifigure Only - $15.61 12/30 70910 Scarecrow Special Delivery - $32.28 12/31 41233 Lashina Tank - $23.44 <--how the mighty have fallen! ?4 points

Shopko has a 17% site-wide discount. It doesn't work on clearance, but there are a few noteworthy Lego sets that are on sale and will work with the discount. It gets Encounter on Jakku down to around $33, AT-TE to $66, and Passenger Terminal to around $66.4 points

Hi everyone, I am a fifty-two year old, newly retired veterinarian. So feel free to ask any VET related questions. I will do my best to help you out. My wife is also a veterinarian and she is much brighter, younger and better looking then me. We have five children: Ten, Eight, Seven, Three and One month. The oldest is our only boy. They all, with exception of the baby, love LEGO just like their dad. This year I became serious about collecting sets and the past few months I have been particularly immersed in same. I found this site by doing an internet search and I am so thankful for finding it. I hope that i can contribute some good tips to the readers. Goodness knows I have enough time during the day to look for online deals. I am resuming my bike racing next April and have to spend inordinate amounts of time on my indoor trainer now that the weather has turned. Thanks to the moderators and admin people. I really appreciate all that you do. Paul the vet.4 points

A Porsche from Toys r us with rewards for $144, I have gotten about 12 of these with the 20% coupons that were out a few months ago, and with the 10% Credit card, that was $90.00 plus other rewards and gift cards, I got alot of them for $200 or less. And Toys R Us always mails them in the original Lego Box. With the 20% Coupon you have to go to the store and let the clerk do it. Thats what the person told me when I tried to use them when I called to order them, now I went to different stores.4 points

Because I have no shame, and my son loves these: 70330 Nexo Knights Ultimate Clay - $4 - HomeGoods - 60% off 70334 Nexo Knights Ultimate Beast Master - $4.98 - Target - 50% off 70312 Lance's Mecha Horse - $10.86 - Walmart - 46% off Let me also mention that clearance season this year is going to be a much reduced affair. I've been to 5 Targets over the last few days, and they are barren. 3 Walmarts, same story. Even HomeGoods/Marshalls/TJMaxx (all the same company) have no LEGO left. Last year there was tons to choose from. Hoping some of the other Nexo Knights $9.99 packs still on the shelf at WM and Target will soon drop to below $5 as well so I can complete my son's collection of these. Not sure why some are discounted and others stay full price.4 points

I think this is the best polybag I've seen in a long time. Brick-built R2-D2. I want it! I need it! http://www.thebrickfan.com/lego-star-wars-brick-built-r2-d2-30611-polybag-found/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+LegoEverlasting-LegoReviewsNews+(The+Brick+Fan+-+LEGO+Reviews+%26+News) or http://minifigpriceguide.com/wordpress/lego-r2-d2-30611-minifigure-polybag-to-be-given-away-in-february-or-march-possibly/3 points

In for 10 at 42% off. Used the link. Thanks for posting. Great deal. I'll load up on more when my local brick & mortars clearance these out and will stack with a coupon. They will most likely be right around the same price based on past experience, so I'm happy to secure some now in case I don't find any later.3 points

On US LEGO Shop at Home right now, 75102 is available now and 75149 is backordered. Both are limit 5. Both are also available in Europe, and neither set is marked as "retiring soon" anywhere. Am I missing something?3 points

Just because I want to brag and it seems slightly related. I got a captain Rex AT-TE for under $4.00 yesterday. It just rang up at that price. But I agree that does not really show anything as it was some sort of mistake I guess and Walmart did not seem to care.3 points

Pleeease can we stop stating UCS Ties at $50. As BA mentioned yesterday this was a fluke to begin with. Secondly there was a limit 1 per account (maybe someone wants to pipe up that ordered 999 on a business account). Third, very few actually shipped. I was pretty early in and none of my orders shipped. If someone would like to speak up that received a pile of these at $50 then I'll happily bow out. Otherwise, as future market Intel essentially zero purchased at $50.3 points

Got K-2SO for my birthday (31st is my birthday actually but gotta work tomorrow). My first SW Buildable Figure. I have seen Rogue One the 27th of DEC (RIP Carrie Fisher). I enjoyed the movie a lot, pure entertainment and I always love to watch the ships on a big screen. Those Y-wings looked fantastic and the Imperial Star Destroyer is just amazing. Krennics' Shuttle is pretty nice as well! During the movie, my friends saw this big boy smiling like a little kid...and they made me smile again today with this present. A fun build and it looks great!3 points

Just picked this up from John Lewis in the clearance section... Good buy for £27.50 (about $34)? Was the only one on the shelf and eBay listings are around £70/$85 Don't know if you have John Lewis in USA. It is basically a high-end department store .2 points

Ok. Sorry if I jumped you a bit hard. But over and over again this gets trotted out as the example. Someone bought a Sandcrawler at Walmart for $12. This is not a good example to the question, "how low have these been purchased?" Maybe I'm wrong, but I think the implied context of that question is: if I purchase set X at Y price will I be competing with a group that also purchased a significant number at Y-n in the future. Otherwise it is a mostly useless question and answer.2 points

After the demise of Railbricks.com, things were a bit "empty" in the LEGO Train railroading world. Luckily Cale Leiphart (a famous LEGO Train AFOL) has stepped into the void with a few buddies and today marks the launch of http://www.brickmodelrailroader.com. I'm hoping they manage to turn this into an ongoing stop for LEGO Train addicts. Take a look yourself.2 points
