  8. About a week ago Lego sent an email out for the kids club that had instructions for this little vampire build. He goes great with the tru Frankenstein from today. I didn't have all the pieces for the vampire, but it was easy to modify a little bit. https://www.lego.com/en-us/club/member/building-instructions/details/dracula-f492b1e7a15e4dd9bc6d9321ab29fd45

  14. Even more important: how heavy is the next gate? Minimum sales quota? Stricter performance metrics? Amazon can change the rules suddenly without any notice. That should leave us all a bit concerned IMO.

  19. My first post after lurking for some time. This may be of interest to a certain person at least. Tesco has reduced the price of set 60124 (Volcano Exploration Base) to £44.99. It was £49.49 yesterday. Made the deal so good that i had to get some after spending what i thought was all my money yesterday. http://www.tesco.com/direct/lego-city-volcano-exploration-base-60124/527-4164.prd?source=others

  20. Anyone else having trouble getting feedback on Brickclassifieds? I usually ask for feedback from buyers, but haven't gotten any in a long time. Just made a sale to a moderator here on BP a few days ago, and asked him for feedback. He said he had already left it. Yet I still see nothing new in my feedback profile. (Don't want to "out" the buyer but his username rhymes with "egg cider won").

  26. Hey guys - really had a good time reading all the updates yesterdays. Some of the posts getting a little off topic now. Hate to be that guy but can you put set comparison, strategies "questions" etc in the relavant thread please? After all the recent doom and gloom posts (bubble, retiring soon but down beat) this thread made a great change mind (sorry to the guys on the continent who couldn't take advantage)! If your 1a deal wasn't there hit the 1b (and 1c and 1d for some). Sad but actually made my day (was having a stinker). Truly was what the fun part of all this is about. So great reading yesterday - but can we try to make this thread as deal related as possible? Thanks guys!

  31. I sometimes pick them up at 50-75% off. Not for investment though. I like to have small stuff like that around in case some of my nephews or sons friends come over to give them or I give them to my kids school prize bucket. if it helps my nephews not touch my Lego sets $5.00 is totally worth it. Plus there are so many kids in their family they really appreciate any gifts even nexo Knights

  38. My 10% EBay Bucks & EBay Bucks Certificate purchase from last week Tuesday came in today. The same one from the "My Order Status" thread where I mentioned it was shipped Media Mail without Tracking, only to be replaced last Friday by a Priority Mail tracking number. Arrived in a black plastic outer bag with a makeshift label on it, held together with half a roll of tape. I feared the worst. Felt like it was a plastic bag over the LEGO box. I removed the plastic bag carefully, to find a customized Medium Flat Rate Shipping box underneath, with in it the 21307 Caterham Super Seven I ordered, plus some more black plastic as padding. Wonderful condition. Goes in the "when I finally have enough time to build" queue together with the F40, the Mini and the T1. Only missing the Beetle. Here's a picture of the box: Not bad for $75 shipped, no tax, plus $7.50 in Bucks.

  40. All true. But just turn down your "I told you so" tune. It is not funny. Lego changed the rules and I did not sign-up with these rules. And... I have to admit... with some sets (like 21108) you were right before hand. But no need to brag about it. Cause it is not something positive for people across the board. So here is your recognition. Now let's see what you can contribute to damage control.
