Yay !!! Finish d my bricklink'ed CC, and it looks awesome. Got the two original doors needed on bricklink, and just swallowed the hefty price tag of $23.00 for each of them. The only thing I had to do, was exchange the earth blue large pieces, columns and 'door portal beam thingy' with the same pieces in dark stone gray... which look I really like... I included a pic of the final result. I got so hooked on doing this that I started brick linking another second story for this CC, call me a sucker, but I think this model deserves another story. It is after all the one that started it all...7 points

Here's my latest project - as I've now managed to collect all of the regular release Batman/DC/Superman minifigures, I've been trying to figure out a way to display them. As I was doing a little Google search for inspiration, I came across an old Batman comic with members of the "Rogues' Gallery" in individual frames. Thinking this would be fun to emulate, I started to work on my own Rogues' Gallery. First, since i have all of the DC comics minifigures, I decided to use all of the non-Superman DC bad guys in the gallery. I will be doing a Superman display at a later date and will include Lex Luthor, Zod, et al there. Then, I had to figure out whether I could utilize the big figs, but given their scale I decided to give them their own separate displays. So, here's the Rogues' Gallery: The other thing I just noticed is that I missed the Death Stroke minifigure, so I'll figure out where to put him once I find him. Enjoy! I've got close ups that I'll post later, but I'll start with Joker:7 points

I fell asleep at the wheel. Woke up this morning and was notified one of my 75055 ISD's sold. A couple days ago the price had sat around 209 FBM for quite a few months, so I had mine sitting at 239.99 and this morning it sold. I just checked and seems like most are now sitting around 249 and higher. I'm happy with the price because it's my first ISD from my stock and I bought these around 90. However, after the brickset update that occurred this weekend, in which it showed next years sets where no ISD, AT-AT, etc are listed, I sort of neglected that there could be a run on the stock. And it seems like that happened. Those with stock might want to raise their prices a bit.4 points

also that series 1 clone trooper tank for $36 is worthy of an expletive. 3.6x MSRP for a set that was on the shelf of every walmart, target, toys r us, kroger, stop and shop grocery stores. that would be like the Tumbler selling for $720. time to find that box full of tanks. as usual, i sold my werewolves too soon.3 points

I'm underwhelmed. For the price I was thinking this would be a huge centerpiece not 3 small buildings. Looks like the corner deli on steroids.3 points

Hello LEGO fans... After months of discussion about fake, counterfeit, knockoff, illegal, garbage, and crap sets and companies, the BrickPicker administration and moderator team have decided to remove this discussion completely from the BrickPicker forums. I had hoped that people could discuss these topics in a mature manner, without promoting them, but that failed miserably. It is unfortunate that there is a small, but vocal, group of people who support these illegal products and will try to push these products at any given chance. For whatever reason, they consider these products legitimate. BrickPicker does not... THIS IS A LEGO FAN SITE and will remain so. While we approve of discussions about compatible and legitimate brands like Mega Bloks for example, any discussions about intellectual property stealing companies like Lepin or others will be removed and members might face suspension or permanent ban from this site. We are not alone in this type of topic restriction. Eurobricks implemented a similar policy and I quote (from their site)... Remember: Eurobricks is a LEGO fan site, thus we want most topics here to be LEGO related. If you find you are posting mostly non-LEGO topics then maybe you have picked the wrong site. Clone and Competitor Brands: A Clone brand or competitor brand, is a product manufactured by a legitimate company. For Example Oxford,Mega Blocks. Kreo or Character Building. These are companies that do not infringe copyrights and provide a competitor product, such as licenses and themes LEGO do not produce. It is fair to discuss, compare and share these brands and their products in the Community section of the Forum. Bootlegs, Rip-Offs and Fakes: These manufacturers copy designs and minifigures from LEGO, other companies and even fans, to produce their own infringing products which they then sell, often at knock down prices. There are hundreds of names attached to these products and varied quality between them. We will no longer accept discussion and sharing of these products on Eurobricks. Most of these "brands" are facing legal cases and we have no interest in supporting them by providing a place for their criminal products to be seen. I applaud the administration of Eurobricks for installing such a policy and I ask other major LEGO fan sites to follow suit. We are all here for the love of LEGO sets and bricks and these knockoff products not only endanger the LEGO secondary markets, but the primary one as well. On a personal note, I am sorry it took so long for me to realize that discussing these illegal products was bad for our site and LEGO fans in general. The supporters of these counterfeit and knockoff products will have to discuss them on some other site, hiding in the shadows. Thank you for your time... Ed Mack2 points

Scrooged Europe probably. Craig's List. Yes... this could have caused the setback. I checked ebay now and indeed it starts at about 220 euro. Supply is thin. Which is very good news!2 points

Having lived in Europe and now in North America, I can tell you that I surely don't miss the customer service aspect of Europe's retailers. From having to pay for calling them when you have an issue, to no commitment to "Customer is King" (as per the above), to ridiculously short opening hours during the week (although I hear a lot has changed there, when I left you were lucky if you could find a store that was open until 6pm on Saturday) - I always felt like I had to be so thrilled if they allowed me to buy something from them.2 points

Man, last year I was all over the Bricktober stuff. I haven't stepped foot in a TRU this month. The deals seem weaker and the minifig packs don't thrill me.2 points
