New rumor starting floating around today: 10255 - Assembly Square Celebrating Modular Buildings 10th Anniversary The ultimate modular building. Complete details will be shared once D2C has officially unveiled the product. This will probably happen in November 2016. Campaign will be created to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Modular Building line. Launch Date: 4/1/2017 (April 1 or January 4?) EDIT RRP: 2699 (probably in Danish Krone, which is around $150-$160 $400 USD. No picture of the actually item; picture will be released in November.

I think we all know what's going to be assembling in the square... It will no doubt be the jewel in the crown that is the modular line.

Thanks to the EBay flash sale, I bought 50x City minifigs and accessories. Needed some figures to fill the planes at our airport. The kids won't let Iron Man and Captain America on the plane.

There are 11 modular buildings. 12 would make a full "city square" with 4 baseplates of market real estate in the middle. $400? The Lego pieces of this mystery/puzzle fit together pretty nicely.

I'm not sure I trust their definition of ultimate anymore. If the $160 price is accurate, I would guess that the Town Hall will still be much larger than whatever this turns out to be.

I still have lots to learn, I bought loads of mystery mansions few months back thinking I got a great price and now can get the same from asda. I think in the future i am definitely going to wait until I know a item is going to retire before loading up. I picked up a spaceport at same price 2 months ago and thought that was the cheapest had ever seen it. I think wall-e and ecto-1 will not retire until next year so too soon to stock up. Most likely big bang theory is next ideas set to go as it is displaying same characteristics as Dr who.

Amazon never builds out just for themselves. They build infrastructure and rent it it to others. Why use UPS or FEDEX when Amazon will be faster and alot cheaper? This is not about FEDEX or UPS losing Amazon, it is about Amazon gaining everyone who uses FEDEX and UPS.
