Kylo command shuttle .. Used the original kit.. Then added 40-50 extra black pieces a lot are minifigure base plates, black tiles and cheese slopes.. Took away a lot of the light grey pieces.. Added a Radar. Changed up wing tips . Redesigned front end. Covered rear showing technic holes on main cockpit area. It's a work in progress I guess.7 points

Well the good news is it should only take the horde 4 years to sell through their stash so that should leave 6 months or so to make your 20% profit before the pics of the remake are leaked.5 points

Found a fix for the 404 error! When the url comes up in the address bar if you delete the 'p' after the item number it will load the product page and let you add to cart. I just put in four orders and have about 8 more to do, but thought I would spread the workaround first. I have a store near my father in law that has 8 Brick Bounties in stock!4 points

There's still time to build these today. Well, here are a few small builds from myself. 75011 Tantive IV & Planet Alderaan: Alderaan is the plant resembling Earth the most, and I can imagine using it in a museum lobby in the future. LEGO Dimensions 71228 Ghostbusters (Ecto-1/Peter Venkman/Ghost Trap): I wanted the non-slimed version of Peter Venkman to add to the Firehouse Headquarters when I get that set at some point. Also, I was surprised that the Ecto-1 build is obviously supposed to be the full car as it doesn't look that way on the packaging with only front wheels being visible.4 points

Oh! Is this the TRU complaint thread? Cool! ... I'm noticing my TRU has more Lego in stock than ever. The regular Lego aisles are fully stocked...and now growing outside the normal Lego section... given shelf space up by the front door, in the Star Wars section, end caps, and now Friends and Elves are moving into the main aisle next to the bicycles. I wonder if the recent coupon / discount drought is having the same effect around the country? My store has shelf tags up for the F.O. General promo, but with everything marked at RRP + 10%, I can live without this polybag. I expect to see loads of them for sale in store next week for $4.99 or $5.99.2 points

It's really dumb though, I really just think TRU employees and managers don't care. They really shouldn't be doing anything that deters a customer from returning or taking away from a pleasant shopping experience. Poor management, plain & simple.2 points

yeah it is a lot different now. It used to be get as much into title that related to it to pull it up versus nowadays being specific and cross referencing the keywords used in title versus categories etc. Best bet is always copy a title in the top few listings that you like as it is already up in the search and the algorithm likes it. Price, Shipping, handling time, feedback are all primary in getting the listing up higher. Then concise titles that give enough but not to much help in where it pulls up. Also stuff like centering text and using other colors in your description lowers it as well. Sell through though from experience is the most important. They don't want items that are not selling near the top as it doesn't do them any good. They are apt to push a listing higher that has a higher chance of selling. Also have experimented of late with quantity. If you have a hot selling item it seems better to raise the quantity higher then keep it running low as the algorithm sees the potential of sales especially if a hot selling item. Tried it recently with a few products that were very hot that I had a lot of and instead of keeping my quantity at 25 or so raised to actually what I had of like 150 and sold 65 in a day as it got main promotion through all the search engines. Which makes sense that if 2 people have the same item and 1 has 100 and the other 10, they stand to make way more fees from the guy with 100. I know your question was more specific of pulling up in search then placement but they do go hand in hand in some aspects.2 points

It's more profitable just not to communicate with your employees. That way, when it's a mistake, the customer doesn't notice. Kinda like how TRU doesn't know about the FO General polybag this week, or "forgots" to put your free polybag in with your purchase.2 points

eBay sellers that state a faster shipping method in their listing than what they actually ship. Parcel select is not Priority and Smartpost is not FedEx Home/Ground, I had back to back sellers pull this stunt.2 points

Can confirm the target dimensions fun pack BOGOF Is active in store. Just picked up two for $11.99 total. Edit : shows up on the in-store scanners as active, but not at the till. Needed an override based on the ad. Then noticed the ad says "available Tuesday" under it, so this promo might only be truly live tomorrow. Also, get your flu shot at Target, paid by your insurance, and get a $5 gift card.2 points

Here's my 2 cents on Ebay after some shitty luck lately being a Buyer... 1) Package the damn item so it is likely not to get crushed... Recent Example, bought one of the smaller Lego sets that comes in a small box (75 piece), the seller shipped it in a god damn bubble mailer. The box came crushed, which I didn't really care about, but what if I did? And don't be that seller that claims that my neighbor probably stepped on it. I've ordered 1000's of items by now and nothing has come damaged ever except that stupid box that is full of air in it, inside a bubble mailer. I also don't live in a city which means my "neighbor" would have to run all the way over here, stomp on it, then run all the way back home. 2) Tape the **** out of it!!!... Recent example, bought a loose set of Lego (about 5 lbs worth) and the box was only tapped on the two main seams, and not the entire area's where anything could leak out. I was at the door when it arrived and pieces were literally falling out of the box as the mailman handed it to me. I couldn't believe it and and at the same time, most of the "Lego" pieces were actually megablok. The total weight upon arrival was just over 2 lbs. I never thought that packaging was so tough to understand but in a matter of a few weeks, two items were pretty much worthless upon delivery. When I mail items out, I do my due diligence in making sure the item is properly packaged and shipped and don't cut any corners. I know it's not possible to have 100% of delivery's go well, but the shipping folks do a pretty damn good job getting things to where they are supposed to go and odds are if it is packaged correctly, there won't be any issues upon delivery.2 points

Ahah, this is so pathetic. Product lists show a bunch of "Image not available", trying to open pages for any individual item produces a 404, and the "Add to cart" button doesn't work. Anyway, this $50 off over $250 is just 20% off... In a couple days, we'll have 2x VIP plus freebie worth at least $20 at LEGO Shop at Home.1 point

Grouted for sure or just silicone? You're supposed to silicone the toilet to the floor to help keep the toilet from moving around when a big ol' butt sits on it and to keep little boys from making a mess underneath (and once that wetness gets underneath and to the flange area, it'll rot the sub-floor pretty quick). If it is old silicone, it can be as hard as grout. Use an old putty knife, lay it flat underneath and try to hit it with a hammer. Don't use a flat head screwdriver or you'll likely crack the toilet. If it really is grout, you're SOL. Chip away... carefully. (most contractors DO NOT put that bead of silicone around the bottom because it's a pain to put the toilet down nice and square without making a mess)1 point

just simplify your listing, you have to many words in title that don't need to be there just for sake of using the characters. You can put them down in the body if you want as it will still search from there but for title keep it simple. Look at the figures that do pull up in LEGO 76067 and you can see they are briefer than yours. The other figures that are pulling up are because they are in sets category instead of minifigures so LEGO 76067 is pulling them into that search as it associates that with a set. Honestly the sets is what is pulling the others up the most for that reason though with just those 2 words used as search criteria. Then when you try LEGO 76067 Minifigure it pulls up 37 listings and the top listings of those are ones listed in the minifigure category and it bumps the ones listed in the sets category to bottom. You are towards the bottom of the ones in the minifigures category though which reflects back on title and sales. Obviously sales will bump it up highest but improved titles can bump it up as well.1 point

Went to get this week's build for my 2 youngest. When I mentioned to the event host that I was disappointed about missing cogsworth, she offered to check if she still had any from last week. Left today with two pairs of the duo. Score! My girls are aggressively completing chores so they can get on with the building.1 point

Not quite today but built a few sets recently. First is my First Order Transporter mod. I never liked the dimensions of the Lego First Order Transporter it was way too short and stubby. So when i got chance to pick up a second set on the cheap i thought I'd use it to extend the original and sell off my second to claw back half the costs. I still need to order some extra 2×4 flat tiles to cover the sides but overall in happy. I've extended it by 10 studs and will get a FO Battle pack to fill it rather than the current rebels. I've also started experimenting with my many bridge battles. I've put two together in a reconfigured order. But think I'm going to use the span from a third set to get a full bridge effect. Last but not least i picked up a Turbo Tank because a: I didn't have one and b: Argos were selling it with 22% Off. I'm glad i got hold of it that way because i don't think it's really a £100 set when compared with Kylo Rens Shuttle or dare I say it, the Sith Infiltrator. Bear in mind I've not seen or built any of the previous turbo tanks for comparison but it just feels a bit flimsy and lightweight for the cost. Luckily these days the Lego RRP's don't last very long after launch and £75 I'd say is about the right price point for this set. I just can't wait for the Rogue One sets as the summer releases have been uninspiring and over priced. I will pick up the TFA set when decent reductions come along but most of the builds are a bit Meh and I'm not really into Rebels.1 point

Today I Finished building the Tumbler, I've got to say what a fantastic set!! It displayed such fantastic skills from the design team, it just highlighted what a design let down some of the recent sets like the new DS and AOH really are. With Cinders castle the exception, maybe Lego should have a look through their back catalogue and remind themselves what they are really capable of as opposed rushing out sets. Or tell Disney to back off a bit and let them go at their own pace!? Nevertheless, enjoy the pics!!1 point

I like Super Hero sets. I think there's a lot of people who do. Well, ok not so much the sets. A lot of people like the minifigures. DC and Marvel Super Heroes sets by LEGO tend to be heavy on lame playsets or jets or bank trucks. There's also a lot of motorcycles. If it's a Batman set, there's almost never anything new. In76053 we get not one, but 2 Motorcycles. I kind of shake my head and try to figure out if it's worth doing a review. Well, let's just see, shall we? REVIEW: SET DETAILS Set #: 76053 Name: Batman: Gotham City Cycle Chase Theme: DC Super Heroes Parts: 224 Price: $19.99 Before we get to the build, let’s talk value. At 19.99 the price per piece works out to almost $.09 each. This is on the low side of pricing for a licensed set. There are 3 minifigures. The minifigures are New 52 Harley Quinn, New 52 Batman, and Deadshot. I am not 100% sure, but I think this version of Batman has been seen before. Harley and Deadshot are both new. BOX CONTENTS Some people may wind up picking up a set that is open box or, want to verify the box contents before beginning a build. For this set, there are 2 numbered baggies, a sticker sheet, a comic book, and an instruction book. (I got 2 sticker sheets. I don't know if this is standard or just my good luck.) THE BUILD AND EXECUTION BAG 1: I've not reviewed and Super Hero sets before. I have built them though. I'm not going to let my preconceptions color my writing. I will approach this set with eyes unclouded. So,with that said, I have a weird question. Why on Earth did the designers put a pink brick inside of this build? It disappears completely in very short order, but there it is. It's a color that no one associates with Batman or Harley Quinn. Obviously with the red and blue color scheme, this bike belongs to Harley, I like the alternating Red and blue. It reminds you of her motley. Apparently, Super Hero motorcycles need massively oversized tires. I like the exhaust pipes that you build in here too. Nice use of those pearl gold pieces. It's good to see that Harley's custom bike has headlights. Something I noticed here, The front wheel and the rear wheel are different colors. The tires are different sizes, so the wheels themselves are different sizes. Is this why they are different, or is it a design choice because Harley utilizes multiple colors? I choose to believe that it's due to Harley's color choices. Ok, so the motorcycle is a little boring. It really needs something to make it say Harley Quinn How about a giant Mallet? Harley Quinn is frequently seen with a comically oversized mallet. This mallet can be mounted on the motorcycle either the way I picture it below, so that it can hang out to the side to swat people as she drives by, or on the pin right behind that so that it can swing forward to bonk people that she drives up to. Actually, that's terrible. She just sideswipes people with her mallet. Plus, she can take it off her bike and carry it with her. BAG 2: We just made Harley's bike, so it must be time to build Batman's Batcycle. First though, we have to build up Deadshot's stuff. Hey, look, a jetpack! Does Batman have a jetpack? Now, we make Deadshot's Rocket Launcher. Uhm, at least the stud shooter is almost disguised. According to the LEGO Movie, Batman only builds stuff in black and really really dark grey. Apparently with a nice pink base. I've made Batcycles before. this one is a little weird. Apparently Batman doesn't like to sit? I guess he wants to feel like he is flying just like Superman. I like the hint of a monster engine hiding under the black. No idea what that's supposed to be. Portable spot light? Rocket booster? Bat crock pot? Batman's got massive tires. You know what they say about big tires, right? Yup, you need big wheels. Both of Batman's wheels are black. I'm really curious how Batman in a prone position can see over that gigantic tire. Rear wheel matches front wheel. You hear that Harley Quinn? Batman's got tail lights. Some of the tail lights are also stud shooters mounted on a swivel. There are also clips on the stud shooter piece that allow you to put Batman's accessories away as he drives. REACTION I liked this set. I didn't love it. The 2 motorcycles make more sense than a drag racer or a submarine or a mech suit. Both of these vehicles come off nicely and don't look totally goofy. The minifigures are spectacular, and they had better be. No one buys these sets for the sets. Harley Quinn is a perfectly deranged looking clown in a bodice. She's got printed legs. I wish that her hair and legs had been molded in 2 colors. She also has a 2 sided head. Deadshot has printed arms. He's got a ton of parts to make up his accessories. Batman is Batman. Nothing new, kind of bored of getting Batmen. FINAL THOUGHTS: Collectors are probably as tired of getting the same Batman constantly as I am. The motorcycles are nothing spectacular. They're highly unlikely to draw attention to this set. With SUper Heroes sets, you're drawn to the minifigures. Here, we have 2 unique minifigures. Harley and Deadshot are important characters to the Suicide Squad. Later this year LEGO is releasing a set with Killer Croc and Boomerang and another one with Katana. That's a pretty significant way to having the movie characters. If that movie gets a significant amount of attention and spawns a sequel, these sets will be must haves. The biggest problem that I have with the future value of this set is that it is Minifigure driven. If knockoffs flood the market with these unique figures, it will be an anchor that drags this set down. If LEGO reissues Harley or Deadshot in this version, it's pretty much dead. Best case scenario is if this set goes the route of Ant-Man. We'd see people scrambling to catch up. Don't bank on unexpected 6 month retirements though. Go get it on Amazon! EXTRA PARTS:1 point
