Sorry, but no way Scooby Doo performs as poorly as Lone Ranger. No. Flipping. Way. BUT if it does, I can still build a life-size Mystery Machine for my son. Win/win.6 points

took the last 4 months off from selling. priced it right and boom. all sold in a day. clearing out the small Super Heroes rubbish and freebies. all FBM including shipping fee. Gingerbread House x 3 - 49.99 each Spidercycle Chase 76004 - $33.50 each x 4 Ironman Seaport Battle - $31.50 x 1 - only one i have of this one - good riddance. Batman Riddler chase - $44.99 x2 - two left. not terrible performance given the cheap buyins for the Cycle chase and ironman sets but still thought they would get to at least $40 by now. probably need to switch to FBA but that will be next year's project. now that is the next frontier for brickvesting - bartering/swapping for other goods and services. i'm trying to figure out how many chickens i could get for a Grand Emporium.4 points

You guys are learning, good job! Someone will ruin it for you, but good job nonetheless. The Duel is lame, but now I'm not worried about The Phantom 75048. Looks like it's getting some unneeded changes in "Rebels". Yoda's Interceptor also appears to be a new "Rebels" design.3 points

So why is kmart struggling? Could it be the practice of shipping one set (ordered about 10 sets over past couple days from them) on an order placed a couple days ago with free shipping selected. No packing at all. Thankfully only minimal damage to a corner. Win for me this time, but we all lose if they go out of business.3 points

Man I always like your thoughtful posts, but I need a dislike button today. Just because you only like technic sets these days that's no reason to bag on my Creator 3-in-1 sets. I think for $30 to $80 price points, most of them are outstanding. At any rate, I'd hardly call them "turds"2 points

Lots of Scooby left at Walmart, TRU, Kmart, and Lego Stores near me. It might be a regional thing then. Still, I'd only buy at 50% off or greater.2 points

Us too, more Jurassic World left here and Scooby is gone.2 points

40% off. It says only fun packs and I think the only new one is the A-Team, hopefully it works online for the preorders for the next wave, that way you could pick up E.T. and Fantastic Beasts since they weren't included in the 40% off.2 points

My experience is that it pays off to make the same shopping cart at all 3 sites (SYW.com, Sears.com and KMart.com) and see which one gives the best combination of coupons. Seriously.2 points

I agree, though I'm not sure I trust Disney to do the job right. The prequels were neat in a historical context, coming out during the early days of our never-ending "war on terror" and ever-increasing police and surveillance powers granted to the state. I imagine that was an intentional effort by George Lucas. It's just too bad his directing skills aren't up to snuff anymore. And, of course, Jar-Jar could ruin even the best movie singlehandedly.1 point

I could see this one being sent to the retirement grave by Octobers 2xVIP event. We are down to one week before the force friday storm sends many of the 2013-2015 sets screaming into retirement. Just wait... this is the calm before the storm.1 point

None of the sets are showing as on sale on the website so that's a neat trick. At the moment I would use the $10 off coupon on either 2 Carnage shield attack sets or the Ghost Rider set for maximum bang for your buck and the offering of exclusive minifigures in those sets. The Iron Man/Ultron set is the same price as the carnage one but I don't see the same demand for that set given the easy availability of these figures elsewhere. I also don't expect the same demand for the Crossbones or Hydra Showdown sets as for the Ghost Rider set. $10 off a $25 set is 40% off right there.1 point

Thanks for the reminder! Need to set a reminder in my Calendar for October 3rd. The London Bus promo starts on October 3rd, so we actually have two days to make use of this promo.1 point

Well got my BWE 42055 today from the Walmart $187.99 sale. Ordered 2, (site to store) and as expected one was all but destroyed. Both THIN shipping boxes were badly collapsed and had no where near enough packing material. However SOMEHOW one made it with only minor collapsing on the bottom. At least I got one!1 point
