I would shy away from sending an invoice through paypal. This would take it out of the eBay transaction. Instead I would call ebay and see what they can do to straighten it out. You are after all, paying them.

Well got my BWE 42055 today from the Walmart $187.99 sale. Ordered 2, (site to store) and as expected one was all but destroyed. Both THIN shipping boxes were badly collapsed and had no where near enough packing material. However SOMEHOW one made it with only minor collapsing on the bottom. At least I got one!

I just picked one up for the personal collection (looking to put the trinity of this, Krennics and Shuttle Tydirium out on display). 36S6 seal code so its still kicking. In all fairness though as a model this one has really grown on my (despite the in universe inaccuracy). My thoughts are it might perform a bit more like a Sith infiltrator in terms of not much pop in EOL mkt (and probably similar refresh rate). The figs are good but not ... great I'd say. 40% off was my "I'll get it price" and that's where it hit. However this did get voted as one of the top 10 xmas toys for last year in the UK. So the "experts" liked it but that probably more due to the fact it's SW and Lego is super popular. Mass production yay! But hell yeah to a UCS version!

If people are starting to invest in this by buying more than a few, then the horde is getting more and more bold, and perhaps more close to being insanely foolish. While I think this set is a gem, there's too many variables to say this will be a good investment at this point in time. If this thing has 300 sellers on amazon before it goes EOL in 10 years then I woudn't want to touch this as an investment. It's all about CAGR. Putting money into a set that is not going to bring any returns for 6 to 8 years is not a smart move. Better to put the same amount of money into something else that will turn that 80.00 after tax into something that could possibly make you a return next year or the year after... not 8 years from now. At that point, you'd probably get a better and more safer return in putting that same amount of cash into something like bonds.

Built some Jurassic World stuff today. The dinosaurs I be kept sealed as I intend to sell them in the future. Bag 9 complete, can't recommend this set enough. Yes the turrets were slightly repetitive but this was to be expected, however really enjoyable never the less and really impressed with how it's taking shape.
