In connection with Prime Day, we ran a limited offer of $30 off a purchase of $150 or more with the Amazon Rewards Visa Card on Amazon.com. We see that you entered the promotion code VISA30 after the offer had already expired. Because you are a valued Prime Member, we have loaded a $30 Amazon.com Gift Card to your account. On some days, Amazon is awesome.7 points

I just finished putting together my GE last night. I didn't know I was going to like it as much as I do. I'm really impressed with it. Not sure if it's the build, the way it looks, that it's a corner piece - I don't know. But I like it. I also found it to be an enjoyable build, too. I wasn't building from bags, though - I was building from separated colors. Not sure if that made a difference, though. I'm sorting out the Town Hall I Bricklink'd late last year. Gotta sort colors and re-inventory to make sure it's complete. But, after I'm done with that, I'm going to build a Pet Shop I have waiting for me. Still wanting to build these in order of release.5 points

These are probably not mint because they've been working around them, moving them, inventorying them again and again...4 points

Favorite comment: "LOTS of PRINTED pieces". Somebody needs to tell MB that the trend is to have buyers (who pay $200+ per set) put 20+ stickers on the sets themselves3 points

I looked through a box of stuff I had saved and my parents gave me a few months back... Some good stuff and some head scratchers. Yup, I saved my dot matrix software and manuals for some reason. I read the boys some Calvin and Hobbes tonight before bed... Some of it is NOT kid appropriate. Apparently I saved my first year uni calculus text book.3 points

Lol at the surprised reactions since the final product actually looks better than the ideas submission However, for $50 MSRP I expected something more than just a collection of 5 polybags The MSRP should have been $35 or lower3 points

Crawler Crane went to that price yesterday also on Amazon. Extra 3% off Wal-Mart and Toys R Us gift cards at Cardcash.com using code EVERYONE. Just picked up some TRU cards for 15% off.2 points

New?... or old news?...42042 Technic Crawler Crane $113.45 at Walmart.com (24% off) Also saw 60050 Train Station there for $40.98 (only 2 left) ... almost clicked "buy", but with all the UCS TIEs piling up on the front porch, my wife is questioning my sanity.2 points

That's where I'm coming from. I know it got 10,000 votes but this seems like such a silly IP and even sillier end product. I know every artist has their style, but I think the cartoon is poorly drawn and that translates into ugly figures. That is inconsistent with other LEGO projects we've gotten out of LEGO Cuuso/Ideas. LEGO took a neat idea called Cuuso and is milking Ideas for all they are worth. Unless that rocket is fantastic, I'm skipping out on all recent Ideas sets after Birds except Dr Who. I'll probably sell my lone copy of the Birds set and I'd sell the Exo Suit too (if someone would buy it).2 points

Lasership came out of nowhere today and delivered my my 3 Walmart boxes. Glad I worked from home today. The TIE boxes are in great shape. Other than the really bad communication between Lasership and Walmart, my expectations were surpassed. After the delivery, the online shipping info was finally updated2 points

I think part of what hurts the investment potential of DImensions is that there are a ZILLION of the packs out there. So many stores sold them, and people that buy them to use, when they get bored, will sell them used very cheaply.2 points

I'd prefer to get drunk instead of remembering calc 2a (that's what we called it) and I'm not much of a drinker. I much preferred linear algebra, discrete math and my computer courses like graph theory, computer graphics and advanced algorithms. My electives in first year were English (gross) and Physical Geography (one of my fav classes of all). Yeah, I'm a nerd and I love LEGO.2 points

I was lucky enough to skip Calc I, but I vividly remember that cover for Calc II and III, at least at my University in the states. Calc III was brutal. Diff Eq was a blur. I'm getting a headache just recalling some of this.2 points

I think what he's concerned about is that Pressure cookers can be used to make IEDs. Like at the Boston marathon.2 points

I have new section on my LEGO website - BLOG - and this is my first initial post - Techtroners: What happened on way to Ninlil-Ur...it should be funny dadaistic Techtroners story (beware: DADAISTIC = absurd or even nonsensical), anyone interested can read it here: http://lego.queryen.com/php/blog-20160714.php?j=en2 points

I don't know the Cartoon Network series this set is based on. I have no sentimental feelings about this set. And I have no reason whatsoever to buy this set. Not for personal build, nor for investment reasons.2 points

I like the set even better after watching video. Might be the best LEGO display set ever created. Wonderful. Period.2 points
