Jurassic World and Scooby are done this year, not in the 2017 Wholesale Order Form.9 points

So I finally got around to building this set with my son. I purchased it used in 2013 and extras were included (another set of 7199 cars and minifigs plus some Temple Escape elements). The original owner paid $60ish for it (Target clearance price sticker). Tape seals indicate this set was made during the 1st week of 2010. It was a nice build. The track is a tad fragile and should really stand higher under the Temple so the mine card could roll from start to end. My kids love dropping minifigs into the cars and pushing them on the track8 points

Today, I received my first Resistance X-Wing Fighter. The difference in box size is mind-boggling. So 23 additional bricks in an extremely similar set obviously made it necessary to enlarge the box by roughly 40%. This might explain why the set is priced higher than Poe's X-Wing Fighter in certain markets.4 points

So 100% true story. Han Solo fans may appreciate it. Back in 2012 when I got married, my sister was dating/living with some scrawny LA actor who my groomsmen had fun ribbing. Apparently he had some big "blockbuster" called Beautiful Creatures coming up he was gonna be the "next big thing" from. Alden something, I didn't really pay attention other than he was the dude my sister had been dating a few years, he seemed like an artsy dweeb who took himself way too seriously for my tastes. Beautiful Creatures flopped a few months later, and he went into a 3-month depression where he barely left his bed. My sister left his pouty ass. Turns out scrawny Alden (Ehrenreich) was cast as the new Han Solo just recently here. My sister has since married some other guy. But the moral of the story: Hans f***ing Solo was at my wedding. I've got pictures of and with Hans Solo at my wedding. Top that!3 points

Hi, first post here! Been reading for a couple months. Don't think I've seen anyone mention B&N for Birds on this topic. Maybe not quite the Amazon price mentioned above, but with 10% member and 10-15% GC I've been ticking off my easily reached B&N stores. Got an additional 10% off on a crushed box today too for self so I don't have to open a nice one. Cheers.2 points

We've already seen leaked pictures of the 5 sets and 3 Constraction figures that will be in those boxes and none are the AT-AT. There could always be an exclusive or a later set that we don't know about yet, but all signs point to no AT-AT for the Force Friday launch.2 points

They have a new 2016 Bionicles show up on Netflix with the new Uniters and Creatures... Only three episodes so far though more are promised. Sorry to be a bubble burster but I don't think these are done. Last year's wave did this too ... Many found them on super clearance yet they're still available. I think last year's wave is on their last legs and the new sets will be around until next summer.2 points

Ended up also buying today 9474 The Battle of Helm's Deep for $150.00 total shipped (and $7.95 in eBay bucks with the current promo). Figure that's about as close to retail as I'll find it these days and doubt we'll ever see more LOTR sets in the near future.2 points

Here's some other telling graphs. First one is Millennium Falcon. In my opinion, what's interesting about it is right around the point that it was announced that there would be a "new lego MF" for Rogue One is the point where it plateaued, and then slowly plateaued in price and went south a bit. So, I think the At-AT will continue rising until that new announcement, whenever that maybe. Until then ride the wave. The second is the trajectory of the OT x-wing, which is still having an upwards swing. It's tough to say if a new x-wing is coming for Rogue One, but it's in the film, so I suspect we might see one, and that will probably plateau that set too. Interesting that Poe's X-wing had no effect on this older version, compared to say the new MF having an effect on the OT MF. Finally, growth of the Republic Gunship, AT-TE, and AT-TP. All these sets are showing upwards trajectories. So, i'm going to go out on that limb again and say AT-AT's are going to continue to rise. Also, sets that aren't currently retired but getting closer like the Imperial Shuttle Tydirium, Jedi Duel, and all of those first wave Force Awakens sets will probably see those EOL spikes. Granted, not all sets spike like they do as the MF did, as some like the RG, AT-TE, etc slowly but steadily rise in price through the months. But I think we will definitely see good spikes this year with other sets.. Now we just play the "when will the announcment be with a new At-At?" In my opinion, you have to sell right before that announcement to hit the peak. Because then it will more than likely plateau and start a slow but not too steep decline in price, similar to the OT falcon.2 points

I've had many inquiries, thanks to everyone! The collection has been sold, and I'm working with the buyer to arrange delivery. Thanks again to everyone, that was really quick. I actually had several offers in excess of my $12,500 asking price. I didn't accept them as 1) I had been working a deal with a buyer prior to this, and 2) I felt $12,500 was the fair price which leaves enough room for the buyer to make some profit on this collection. After all, that's one of the reasons we're all here. Thanks again, now I have to start packing things up.2 points

Yes, collection is in Albuquerque, NM. I'll drive up to 500 miles on my end for delivery if needed. My treatment has been great so far. Losing much of your tongue totally sucks, but it beats the alternative. Thanks everyone for the good wishes, I'll make it through this.2 points

With TRU jacking up JW sets to 20% above retail after the great hoarding from last year, I've been noticing that all of my stores are stuffed to the gills with all of these sets. You know how TRU likes to keep their stock around long after other retailers have closed them out. It's going to be a loooong way to profitability for Jurassic World.1 point

I read on another forum that this will be priced at $400 and will be the early VIP release set on 8/17/16. No source provided but this person has been pretty spot on with early information in the past.1 point

I typically do a search for the set by name and number (ie - "LEGO Ant-Man" and "LEGO 76039") to see which one comes up first in search results. I then look at the reviews to see which has the most and also which has the most offers for sale. The price may be higher on the secondary listing but my assumption has been that most consumers are going to go with the first search result especially if the price is lower. I do often wonder what the sales volume comparison would be for separate listings like this and if it is worthwhile to park some of my inventory in the other one to fetch a higher price. I have always decided against that though.1 point

My son and I ( mainly my son) finally built one of our 10236's Ewok Village. Didn't blow my hair back till right at the end when the last tree connected up to the rest, then bang, wow looks a great set. Perhaps not iconic ship set great but still very very good.1 point

I was going to save any of my LEGO Shop at Home purchases for later in the year with the Christmas promos, but that London Bus is calling to me, that's a €25/€30 sell on easily. Damn you Lego, drawing me in.1 point
