Finished this beauty over the weekend and it is very impressive build by the user Pvdb. It was a tricky build and you definitely should be proficient in building with Technic and have lots of experience as the instructions are not nearly as straight forward as TLG instructions. Here is the Koenigsegg One:1. More pictures, videos and info can be found here.4 points

So I was finally able to find someone to help develop a plugin for a sticky post that will be great for this thread. The daily deals will now have the updated list like we used to at the top of each page. To make it less annoying to you frequent visitors, it skip past that post as you go from page to page, but you can scroll up at anytime to see it. It is better than it used to be because it will be on every page and you will not need to go back to the first post of the day all the time to get the latest updates. Hopefully you find it useful.3 points

I can't find the "edit" button so if a mod can update my first message, thanks by advance: Of course this chart can look useless to many investors but it can help newcomers.3 points

With new Exosuits listed at $33, and very few "used complete" sets being offered... if you're selling and you haven't built one yet, you might as well unbox it, and build it for fun. Let it hang out on your desk for a couple weeks... pose it... have a little fun with it... then box it back up again and sell it. Your opportunity cost making it "used" vs. new is about $3.2 points

Here's a good mini-build, but not much out there for larger builds.2 points

I sold through all of my investment TMNT last year during the holidays. I'm very satisfied with the short-term return. My long-term outlook wasn't great, so I took the money and ran. I did find a stash of lab escapes at a Wal-Mart a few months ago and blew through those already.2 points

Some more figs I'd like to see in the future; Mad Hatter, Jafar, Jack Skellington. I wonder how they would go about designing a Quasimodo fig? Maybe a new hunchback piece that attaches under the head?2 points

Finally got rid of my last Kai Drifter polybag that I got with promos this time last year... $9. Recently sold a pair of Mr. Freeze at $20 each, two May 4th Stormies at $20 each, a 7144 Slave 1 (missing Bobba) for $65, and a complete 6195 Neptune Discovery Lab for $150. Promo $0 polys obviously, and the two sets cost me maybe $20 in replacement parts buy-in, originally from personal collection. Puts a nice chunk towards a Big Ben purchase I think! All prices including shipping. Was quite pleased with the last one as it went for nearly $50 more than brickpicker or bricklink's price guides!2 points

How about the trash can? That thing is scary and ugly. Still have 2015 minis sitting on the shelf at $9.98 at two of my TRUs. Tons of them.1 point

It seems that quite a few items got more stock added, ones that were "out of stock" and "limited stock" are now "in stock" I picked up a few Mirkwood Elf Army (79012) sets. I try not to buy sets at full price, but I didn't find these on sale at all. And who wouldn't want an elf army anyway?1 point

I don't know if this is healthy or not, but I've become hooked on the modular buildings that it's turned into an obsession. It started last October when I decided to use points on a pet shop, and when I built it, realized how freaking cool the experience and final product was. Then I got the Parisian Restaurant for Christmas from my wife, and also am working on the Palace Cinema. I'm definitely planning on adding Detectives Office, Grand Emporium, and Fire Brigade to my mix this year. The Brickbank is just a gem, IMO. There are many interesting and iconic sets out there, but I think this is definitely one of the best sets Lego has created. I have not bought this one yet, because i'm trying to now acquire many of the older ones first, but this is definitely a 2xVIP buy for me. It seems like Lego's modular buildings just keep getting better and better. I personally, don't mind the bizarre story lines like in the Detectives Office, or the Brick Bank. I personally think those little stories take these sets to an even higher level.1 point
