  8. I'm not sure this would be the right thread to post my MOC since it doesn't use a lot of parts from the official set. On the other side, it's made from the 70816 parts completely...[emoji3] Lego Medieval Guardhouse by brickblues brickblues, on Flickr ...disassembling Benny's Spaceship 70816 - took the parts way back in time... 18. That is the commonly correct answer achieved with standard cashier checkout. You might get lucky and find one determined to find some way to get them to combine, but that is a rare occurrence (and not what is "supposed" to happen based upon the fine print).

  19. Please don't list your ebay auction... selling in the forums is not allowed. Instead, why don't you post some pictures or a list of what you're trying to sell. Then we can help you... Alternatively, you can also use the Lot Calculator on Brickpicker http://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/lego_lot_price_calculator.cfm Put in all the set numbers and the condition (which I assume is used) and it'll give you a rough idea. You should verify individual prices that seem out of line with completed sales on eBay to get a rough idea. Also, since you're selling it as a collection, people do expect a discount from the overall value. I.e. you get more if you sell individually complete sets.

  22. I am good with the normal reviews or the outside the box reviews as well. I like that you have a passion for lego and it shows with your reviews. I am a collector that has never sold a set ever, but this is my favorite lego site due to the fantastic moderators that keep it mature, crisp, on point, and the people who really take time to put up videos or reviews such as yourself. Sometimes I am not really interested in buying a set till I see your reviews, or not buy, ie spiderman/rhino set:) Please keep up the great work

  28. Unless your TRU is really different, it won't matter. The 2 times I've been asked I've just said I use a website that makes it scannable from a phone since I lose physical coupons, which is true. If they don't want to take it, arguing won't help. YMMV by individual, generally.

  29. Was there any communication before the case was opened? Did you write to this buyer when you received the shipment back? I would have offered to refund purchase costs (minus shipping costs) when I received the package back - no need for the buyer to initiate. I have not had a case like this, but I would still extend the same offer (potentially with a 20% restocking fee) and just treat this like a return. Ad 2), do you actually have the package, or does it currently reside with USPS? For stuck packages, just going to the tracking page and requesting email status updates magically unclogs the USPS pipes in most cases (that was one hell of a pro-tip when it was posted a few months back) - or you can call that USPS location and check with them. A month is a long time to wait though - I would have acted sooner.

  38. Here's the real May 4th offer: Edit to add: Another poster on Eurobricks as said they've seen a picture of the set, and that it's small - around 150 pieces. They also mentioned the scale to be similar to that of an Advent Calendar MF.

  41. Amazon has a well earned reputation for having lower prices than anyone else. Many buyers will assume that when they search for an item, and see that it is being shipped by amazon, that it will be a reasonable price. This is why many sellers experience higher sale prices through Amazon - The buyer (through no fault of the seller) is being fooled.
