Three Targets near me. Each with their own quirks when it comes to this release of minifigures: Store #1 - Has the figures behind the desk at electronics (obvious place to buy your LEGO). You are allowed only four of them, and you can't touch them. Store #2 - I asked on Sept 1st, seeing on the stock tracker that they had plenty in stock. The nice employee informed me that the new minifigures were Star Wars and they couldn't put them out until the 4th. I explained that they were not Star Wars, and he assured me that all of the new Lego was Star Wars. Now it is 9/7, they still have the same count in the stock tracker and not a figure on the shelf. Store #3 - Their stock was at 90ish on Saturday but only 15-20 Simpson figures could be found. I asked a nice associate about them and politely shared that the # was the same as the Simpson figures but asked if he could check if they had any of the new series in stock (sharing the # with him). He checked and saw the same high count that I'd seen on the stock tracker. After walking up and down the Lego isle, he came upon the Simpson figures and told me he found them....sigh. I asked if they might have the new ones in the back and he assured me they do not keep anything in the back but put it out right away. I didn't want to ask him how the 15-20 Simpson figures somehow matched the 90 stock count he'd pulled up. Went back to Store #3 again tonight. The stock counter has jumped to over 200. Once again, only 15-20 Simpson figures out front. I asked a different associate about the new ones (again, being open that they share the same number as the Simpson ones). This time I was told that they had not received any of the new ones yet and that "None" of the Targets carry the new figures yet because Targets get those much later than other stores. So.... all of you who have found your figures at Target you should return them. They are clearly Mega Blocks.4 points

When you really think about it though, 200 is not a lot, especially when that is only 9 complete sets. There's more than 9 kids in your area that want them...3 points

So let me get this straight, they could create perfectly working cybernetic hands, but not C-3PO's paint jobs ????? By movie IX, it should get blue chestplate and purple right thigh to match the red arm and silver leg2 points

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. You know, that might work fairly well with both since there is an orange and blue channel on the remotes (and channels)! You could control up to 8 rides from the same remote. The EV3 motors are also speed sensitive and programmable... could probably make an EV3 program to control the ride. Program it to load/unload people and rotate for a while. Hmmm... looks like I finally have an easy project to start with!2 points

Here is what is wrong and the parts you need: http://brickset.com/article/16465/what-s-wrong-with-21303-wall•e Lego is sending me two sets of replacement parts, so you are probably safe getting at least two. And this fixed the neck and now it works great: http://www.thebrickfan.com/lego-ideas-wall-e-21303-head-modification-by-chris-mcveigh/ Now to add power functions! (The Baymax is my own creation and if you like it go to Lego Ideas and support it)2 points

I still believe the PS will go. Maybe they're just trying to make modular stock last beyond September this year, because the PS is definitely far more available than the Grand Emporium was at this time last year.1 point

See, that is an interesting one. Technically, it is not a remake of the same vessel. This latest is of the EEE class, up until a few years ago they were the largest container ships in the world. That alone made me want to buy two, one to build and one to sell (although I'll probably sell my unopened copy after all). The prior LEGO sets were based on on smaller vessels. On the other hand, maybe a Maersk container ship is just a Maersk container ship for some people?1 point

Thank you so much for confirming the contents. I also did manage to put together the set over the weekend. 16 numbered bags is correct. Though I have all the bags the set is missing 3 small pieces. Will be requesting Lego for the missing pieces. I can't imagine how the other review could have the wrong number bags or confusion between bags 6 and 9 since these ppl build legos day in and day out. Maybe earlier sets did have different number bags? oh well... Thank you!!!1 point

You'd have to change out one of the two gears to alter the ratio but essentially you have to put a bigger one crank handle because the small one on the motor axle is the smallest they make. It'll take some extra parts though .. there isn't enough room between the axles and the lever to move it over as it stands. You'll probably have to mount it above.1 point

Went to Toys R Us to pick up an Ecto I saw on the shelf on Friday. Instead, I saw Wall-E staring at me, and I couldn't resist. Used the 15% off coupon, and $15 rewards and got it for $38.1 point

Built the Volvo 350 yesterday, which should have been done the day before, but I forgot a piece and didn't realize until the end. Ripped it apart and rebuilt it again. I hate it when bags are not numbered! Pretty straight forward to build, much easier than the MB Aroc. Really enjoyed playing with all the functions with my daughter. Also built the shuttle Tyderium, which was underwhelming.1 point

I would like to thank Jon from Minifigures Plus for responding with images of what we should expect. I for one will keep my order as it was. I might even buy more. Having a sealed box of these sets mean very little difference (if any) if the sets will arrive in a LEGO shipping box as shown above. This is not the Mr. Gold Series 10 CMF sealed box which could mean something. These figures will be worth more broken down anyway, so there is no real reason not to buy it. I also get the feeling these might be hard to come by very soon, so cancelling the order is risky IMO.1 point

To all of our Brickpicker customers, I hope that I can answer any and all questions and put any concerns to rest here. I will include photos of strip-style boxing for a different series at the bottom of this message. 1. In our many years of experience, strip-style boxes always receive the exact same 60 minifigures that a display box receives. 2. For those who are concerned that the box will have a different resale value, that simply has not been true in our experience either. A buyer's primary concern is that the box is factory sealed and contents are guaranteed. With this packaging, both of these concerns are still put to rest. This series has still received the highest demand of any series we have had yet, and we are still keeping our prices raised as we did because we know this packaging will not stall demand. 3. If anyone would like display packaging, we will be ordering that once we sell out of this shipment. However, we purchased enough to last until Halloween, so display boxes will not be sold in our store until Christmas time. I also want to note that our pre-order price will almost certainly not be offered again on this series. I hope to convey my sincerest apologies for this inconvenience. I know that consistency with the agreement is one of the important elements in a pre-order. However, I hope that I can also answer any questions and concerns here. We could have made the choice to reject the supply and send it back for the correct packaging, but because we know that timeliness is the most important factor in the pre-order, and the value would remain unchanged, the decision was made to accept the goods in the packaging our suppliers were given. Once again, all contents remain the same. The shipment date estimate remains unchanged. The value is unchanged. And most importantly, this is still the best series to invest in yet. Please DM or comment and I will do my best to answer any and all questions as soon as possible. Kind regards, Jon1 point

I had "quoted" your pic of the Agents ship, but the pic got lost somehow. All I meant is the Agents ship looked like the anti- Dolphin Cruiser. I've always liked the Agents stuff. I wish more folks did (and it would be great if Lego actually marketed it).1 point

Well... they learned from the masters (us) to sell legosets against a high ppp-ratio. They will sell them anyway once the craze starts.1 point
