To all of our Brickpicker customers, I hope that I can answer any and all questions and put any concerns to rest here. I will include photos of strip-style boxing for a different series at the bottom of this message. 1. In our many years of experience, strip-style boxes always receive the exact same 60 minifigures that a display box receives. 2. For those who are concerned that the box will have a different resale value, that simply has not been true in our experience either. A buyer's primary concern is that the box is factory sealed and contents are guaranteed. With this packaging, both of these concerns are still put to rest. This series has still received the highest demand of any series we have had yet, and we are still keeping our prices raised as we did because we know this packaging will not stall demand. 3. If anyone would like display packaging, we will be ordering that once we sell out of this shipment. However, we purchased enough to last until Halloween, so display boxes will not be sold in our store until Christmas time. I also want to note that our pre-order price will almost certainly not be offered again on this series. I hope to convey my sincerest apologies for this inconvenience. I know that consistency with the agreement is one of the important elements in a pre-order. However, I hope that I can also answer any questions and concerns here. We could have made the choice to reject the supply and send it back for the correct packaging, but because we know that timeliness is the most important factor in the pre-order, and the value would remain unchanged, the decision was made to accept the goods in the packaging our suppliers were given. Once again, all contents remain the same. The shipment date estimate remains unchanged. The value is unchanged. And most importantly, this is still the best series to invest in yet. Please DM or comment and I will do my best to answer any and all questions as soon as possible. Kind regards, Jon4 points

Just received the below order status message from Minifigures Plus. Anyone else receive it? Not sure what I want to do, either cancel or just keep the order. I was looking forward to getting sealed cases to keep for collection/investment. Dear buyer,We apologize for the inconvenience but unfortunately we were notified by our supplier today that our stock will be shipped in the hanging strip-style packets. We will of course guarantee the exact same box distribution as the standard packaging. Since the black display case will not be included, if you decide that the strip-style is not of interest for you, please let us know. We will take it upon ourselves to cancel your order and refund it in full. We will be contacting our suppliers to receive full assurance that new shipments will have packaging guarantees. In our experience, the packaging of Collectible Minifigures is not a significant issue to our buyers. Since we are aware that there are some who prefer one or the other, we want to maintain our promises with every pre-order. We hope that you will continue shopping with us and we will do our best to continue offering lower prices and quality customer service. Kind regards,Linda2 points

Over on a blog site called Brickhamster, there is a continually growing archive called "Modular buildings building guide" with pictures aplenty. You can check out just the images over on the Flickr account. So far it covers the basics to modular house building well as some nice tips & tricks.2 points

I had the day off work today and built the mystery machine and haunted lighthouse during a scooby-foo marathon with the little guy. The MM is pretty resilient. My 3yr old hasn't stopped playing with it (minus dinner time) for 6hrs now!2 points

Built the new Millennium Falcon today. The previous version of the ship 7965 was the set that brought me out of my dark ages and I LOVE that set. Although I thoroughly enjoyed building this newer version it is so close to the previous version that it left me wanting more from the set in building technique variation or a more detailed interior to really set it apart from its predecessor. However, the figure selection is excellent and I do like the newly designed front areas of the ship. I also had a great time at the midnight TRU when I purchased the ship and this will make a great souvenir for that evening. I am looking forward to building Kylo Ren's shuttle later this week which will hopefully feel more "new" as a set.1 point

Maybe slightly off topic but anyone have any good tips on how i can customise a ghost/spirit version of Yoda, Obi Wan and Anakin for this set? I honestly think that including them would make this set next level! Could just rip some from a haunted house and hope Luke got some serious retina damage from taking that electric assault from the emperor but wondering if anyones got any better solutions/ideas.1 point

I hit up my two targets this afternoon. Both showed over 100 in stock on the T.I.T. Neither store had them out for sale, which was good because that increases the chance of acquiring a sealed case. One store could not locate them. The other brought out a nice minty fresh sealed case for me. After the red card discount the total came out to about the same as the pre-order. If the case being sealed is important to you then check your T.I.T. and starting pounding some pavement. Being POLITE to the store employees goes a long way in increasing your chance at acquiring a sealed case. It is a little more leg work, but in the long run it's worth it. I hit hit up a local mom and pop as well to try and get the second case I initially pre-ordered. They took my name and number so we'll see if that pans out. They have come through for me in the past, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed they do once again. For anyone canceling their pre-orders from MFP, just to let you know that my return was flawless. Thank you.1 point

So, sometimes I check other listing to see how competitive my prices are...I notice this guy is neck & neck with me on a couple of my items. I'm used to seeing some of the same items from sellers but this guys pics look very similar to mine. So, I click all of the pics on the same items that I'm also selling. Wait for it...Yup, my pics. No worries. So, I read his text next & what do you think I find? Wait for it...Yup, my text. I check more of his listings & see the seller is in Korea! How exactly is he able to offer free shipping from Korea to the U.S.? I'm guessing with my unwitting assistance. Well, my friend, you have been blocked...1 point

I love the plant guy from this series, but he seems to get snapped up pretty quickly because he is so easy to smoosh. Hit up a number of stores today and couldn't find any.1 point

The Skeleton Guy is technically the only character here who is wearing a suit according to his short bio and the outfit does look that way as well. Plant Monster seems like someone in a costume although his background reads otherwise as in the process of being digested by the plant only to be spat out later and Tiger Woman can easily go as a full bodysuit with some face paint applied but she is considered to be something of an anthro. Far as the general public is concerned, they're all costumes.1 point

In most cases I'm against returning polys you don't want, but in this case you have my full support. They had about 10 boxes... what's the difference between grabbing a sealed box of 60 or 60 from the big bin?! Anyways I'm pissed... I missed the fly and plant guy when I was smooshing. I mixed up the witch head for the plant guy head. I'm sure I had the fly's double wings multiple times but I thought I already had it. I so need to print out a checklist when I go smooshing. I have an extra tiger lady, banshee, witch, skeleton guy and cheerleader. Good ones to have extras of, but of course my son wanted the fly the most. Argh.1 point

All you guys that are on Panic Mode all making a mistake, why pay top dollar, and act like the world is ending , these sets are coming, coming back, there will be plenty of these, if you are buying for quick flips well great, but long term investors should stop the panic buying, these sets have a long long way to go. "Now the Raptor Escape is another thing, Only Lego and Walmart no what there Strategy is." As for me I have 15 of the 75919, paid $83-$100, and except for a few Raptor Escape's the 75919 is the only set that I will be loading up on. Everytime somebody see's sold out on the Lego site right away the sets done, take the Sea Cow, last week Sold Out, its done not coming back, few days later back again and you can buy 5. Sold out does not mean crap. Ed1 point

I saw 4 Ewok Village sets tonight at Walmart along with 4 Simpsons House. All were full price. Either someone didn't pick up their ship to store order or Lego is trying something new.1 point

Sandwraith, I know what it is...it is because you PAB'd and MOC'd the Jurassic Park Jeep and made it look better than the JW Jeep, and now everyone at corporate is totally jelly (jealous - for those of you who don't have children) and out to get you!1 point
