^ As opposed to every other thread and set on this forum? Get over it. People are allowed to speculate and I didn't hear anyone say outright they can tell the future. Everyone gave reasonable thoughts on the set until you popped in and I enjoyed hearing what they had to say. For a mod, you are the crankiest dude ever. Not sure why you even like this site.10 points

Being the curious type, I snuck a peak at the Brickpicker graphs for this set. It really is interesting and uninteresting at the same time. It really hasn't behaved that differently from other large sets in that: price took off after retirement demand at xmas was exceptionally good which drove prices higher price stabilized as people begin to unload their stock (obviously we don't really know how much is out there) For stock, I often look at Bricklink to see how much is listed... AA is roughly: Sold 42 units in the last 6 months (eBay sold 126 over the 5 available .. July not out yet) Avg selling price $272 (pretty consistent with BP) Total available is 275 I know there is plenty more out there, but lots of folks on BL post at higher prices (avg is $435) and just let them sit. Nothing earth shattering that's for sure... just another same old story in my books. I picked up an single extra one about a month ago for about 5% above MSRP and I'll keep it until 2016 unless demands shoots this Xmas. Folks who rush may make a few bucks but they also always seem stressed. Not something I'm interested in being - stressed!5 points

I, too, HATE it when my child plays with my toys....(wait for it)...meddling kids. Have you looked in the alley between your modulars? Shaggy's probably looking to score.4 points

It's a different story in EU and now you can be sure that it is on its last legs:3 points

Seriously - it totally depends on where you are located: In Germany I could have bought DS with a 15% discount each from TRU right there and than in 3 different stores last week - each store had about 5 in stock. This week I could still pick some up locally for around 10% off. So it totally depends on the current supply in your area. If you are in the US I would assume your market has dried up pretty much...3 points

Hey Everyone, I will be starting a live stream that is primarily focused on Lego builds. Since I build sets regularly I thought, "Why not share it with a community?". I am going to have my first stream on Twitch tomorrow night. I see a lot of build videos, but not too many that are actually live. There is a monthly calendar that I will keep updated on what I will build and when. Currently I am only planning 3 days a week and will be live later in the evening, I have a day job to maintain . So anyone that wants to come and hang out, head over to http://www.twitch.tv/silburned tomorrow at 8pm PDT. Thanks,2 points

I have a feeling that there will be a deluge of chip disks available cheap for people who just want to play the game. I think that some people will buy some of these expansion sets just to sell the minifigures, and try to make a small amount to the gamers by selling just those RFID disks2 points

Ironically, you can now add to bag in the US with a ship date just 2 weeks out. The hilarious part of this, the TOO was the only set that said NOTHING about either Temp out of Stock, nor the message about, don't worry we're making more. It only said SOLD OUT. And yet, it's now back and orderable. Let that be proof that you CAN NOT TRY TO INFER ANY LOGIC from these crazy stock descriptions. Man this game is fun though isn't it ? :)2 points

So my bricklink store has been relatively inactive (and I haven't really been building much either) because I have been busy moving my family and building a new shed to store my MOCs and investments. My shed is finally done.... my own personal building and storing LEGO shed. I am including some pics here but interested parties should visit my mocpages for more information and about our move. I have documented the procedures used for a very successful move of merchandise and my personal MOCs. http://mocpages.com/moc.php/416912 Moving LEGO investments and MOCs is a headache, and I have done it more than once. But I have learned valuable information in the process. If anyone needs to move their collection or their creations.... check out the whole post for more information that perhaps will make your move less stressful!!2 points

This is a set one would find most difficult to part with in my opinion. You would have to pry it from my cold dead hands ....and I don't mean that figuratively.2 points

Naf Is right, its only been 8 months. Wait until next year, and if its still at high 200s, then we can start to worry and talk about what's wrong with this set.2 points

People need to stop worrying about this short term activity. This thing hasn't even been retired a year, and price fluctuations are to be expected. Just because it's an exclusive didn't mean you should expect to flip less than a year after retirement and make for profits. Sit on this set until next year at least if you can.2 points

If I got a dollar for how many times I've seen "in for 2 more" in the PS thread, I could retire from Lego reselling!2 points

Strange indeed. For what it is worth: Last year when TH was due to retire Collishop in Belgium also had 99 of them in stock. Then they came on a very nice sale and I believe all 99 were depleted in less than 3 days. One can only hope the same scenario will be played with TB.1 point

True. Also do not expect it to rise too much coming Xmas. I am "afraid" it will be all about Star Wars, Jurassic World and Scooby Doo this winter. Other sets will see a deminishing interest. As people can only spend their money once.1 point

If I waited for all the items I wanted to hit a clearance of any sort, my collection would be very miniscule. It does help for certain when found but never a guarantee. I guess what I am saying is if there is something you absolutely must have, it might be best not to wait especially how LEGO has played the disappearing game with Raptor Escape, Mars Rover, or The Zombies (although Raptor Escape could potentially make a return). Ah, so we are getting The Ghost Microfighter! I can't imagine it being much different than the Comic-Con version aside from some possible slight design changes (seems doubtful though honestly) and who will be included. Please be Hera. She's hot. I mean cool! ....Whatever. I don't care.1 point

hey there. I also noticed that this set is lagging a bit behind its retirement class. (R2, Hh, ssd, Ge) on a % basis. This surprises me considering how quickly and quietly it went. Less F5-ING than some other sets. That being said, one thing I love about this set is that nothing classic batman that had come out since then can beat it. The tumbler is superior, but it's a completely different beast. If you like classic batman, it's still the set to beat.1 point

Just pulled a little KMart.com magic for 3 new SuperHeroes sets (for me and the kiddos). They also have Jokerland, but coupons wouldn't apply to it, for me at least. I don't think these have been labeled "Hot Buy" yet. Discounts reflect $10 off $75 coupon found here. http://shc.cpn2c.co/RecomService/web/k 76036 - Carnage's Shield Sky Attack - $11.42 76034 - The Batboat Harbour Pursuit - $26.38 76037 - Rhino and Sandman Super Villain - $35.17 - $5 suprise points - $2.58 gift card savings - $17.90 SYWR points used - $10 back in points on $50 purchase coupon Total = $37.491 point
