Sold 10 Gallimimus polybags for $12.99 each that I picked up at TRU last week for $3.59 each. It's nice to have some QFLL profit every once in a while.3 points

Micbelt just posted this list over in another thread. It's the TRU schedule for the rest of the year. I'll add it to the spreadsheet shortly.3 points

i would like to speak to any eBay's CS and hear their CS read the reason for return "I don't need it any more" and convince me "refund and keep it" speech in person. If they can hold their laugh, i would say go ahead and click the refund button.2 points

Yes. Happy digging. Depending on your target you can sometimes find treasures hidden in the back.1 point

Wow so there are different abilities associated with how the pieces are placed on the portal ? Now that is new. On the other portal based games, the figures are placed on the portal and you basically forget about them as you use the characters to play the game. This is going to be an expensive fall1 point

Just sold 100 electro's on ebay for $550. On paper its not much of a profit after fees, but it was minimal effort required and I made a partial payment with discounted GC's.1 point

Popping in to say hi. I'm on the LA/OC border and just coming out of the dark ages - found my 1980s Lego space sets and tossing out the pieces I chewed on as a kid Hope to see you guys around.1 point

It's funny, because it was just the opposite for me. I moved tons of AT-DPs but not Azaris.1 point

yeah 3 out of first 6 months recycled. Yularen is resurfacing at some merlin as well azaris fire was a good one for awhile. Moved almost 200 of those. At-dp was non existent for me. I sold all the jokers. Never really went to high. Moved some at 25 but most at 16ish Not complaining though at 3.50. Just surprised for how hard they were to find .1 point

Kai Drifter was S@H promo for April, Bionicle pack was from March, Demolition Driller was February1 point

I asked about that box today. Manager Ana said if a box has been opened due to previous return they can do an add-on to the VIP point but they don't do discounts/bonus for damaged boxes, especially for Hard-to-find. I did pick up a Death Star because I didn't have one - gonna build it with my son after we finish watch 1-6 in prep for 7-9.1 point

Is it just me or is the quality control on Bricklink going down? I swear anytime I buy a used part I get something that has been drug behind a car. I don't mind general use on a brick, but dents and scratches should not be sold or marked as such. Got 3 orders in today. 1 good, 1 missing pieces, 1 with wrong pieces. There's no way I would sell half the crap that comes to me in the mail. I got a stickered piece last week that had hair in it. WTF?!?!1 point

I thought that the topic would reveal Ed's Car Wash Emporium and Lego Gallery (gallery items not for sale)1 point

Like most people I'm sure, our space to display sets is limited... I really wanted the Slave I to be in one of our IKEA Detolf cabinets but it's just a touch too tall for a single space within it. So this was my solution .. I used some plates, tiles and support pieces in dark bluish gray to "drop" the glass shelf about 4" which is more than enough room to fit the Slave 1. I may have to replace the plates with bricks if they sag too much but all the weight is on the supports anyways. The plates and tiles just keep the supports from being knocked out of place. Sorry about the glare.. stupid phone. The pictures were dark and out of focus without the flash forced on. The Mini and T1 fit with just two supports, but it looked cramped. Three struck a good balance.1 point

I've still got $2k set aside for ten new TH's, just as soon as they come back in stock at LEGO Shop at Home.1 point

I'm aware of my own shortcomings in set picking. That's why I bought 15 10225 instead of zero. I would seriously rather have a whole fleet of Chima fire bikes than one assembled 10225 (for display, or especially to play with). But I'm not my market. The people who are best at this are probably those who are AFOL's themselves. I like Lego and owned a couple hundred dollars worth of classic space sets as a kid, but I can't see spending $360 on a 1-foot tall plastic statue of R2. On the other hand, when I mentioned this to a friend the other day, he pointed out that I've spent far more than that on Magic cards, and they're just little pieces of cardboard with pictures on them. Touché.1 point

This is a "first world" problem if I've ever seen one. Some people just try to find a reason to be unhappy. I don't hang out with those people, but am in-laws with some of them.1 point

Could have potential for semi-part out. pull out the chips and sell them in packs to people who just want to play the game. then sell all the models and minifigs.1 point
