I few months back, a BP member (sorry, can't remember the name) posted pictures of their cool modular display and really inspired me create a little nieghbourhood too. I'm missing the original 3 modulars but so are a lot of folks haha. Still needs more detail and trees especially one between the PS and DO. Creating a mini/half wall around the park would add some dimension too. The park in the middle (2 green plates) can be interchanged for different themes like Halloween, winter, Superheroes...G20 protest/riot etc. There's a lot of options/combinations to display the buildings, but given the dimensions of my table I'm happy with my first attempt. Would like to add a second table to create a suburban section or theme park with the Ferris Wheel...maybe try to incorporate a train/rail system somehow too. Fun projects to think about for the future. *special thanks to Sandwraithx157 for sourcing some 'sidewalk' tiles for me. I actually ran out of the large tiles so had to create a construction scene.12 points

31039 Creator Blue Power Jet. This was a brilliant building experience. The little details, like using the 1x1 slopes to make the seats are clever. But the wings are ingenious. A hinge is used to connect the two main pieces together which are then filled in with angled plates. Love it, highly recommended. I think this set will be a winner.2 points

Okay - here is the collection. There are a bunch of Friends, Princess, & Space sets destroyed on the Lego table because my four year old prefers her own creations despite what the six year old says. I'm running low on space, so most sets are in my office at home, but some are at the office at work. I work in a school, so it makes good conversation with my middle school kids. This also doesn't count the bunch in storage in the closets. Forewarned many pics to follow! Enjoy!2 points

So I've decided to build my own Lego Star Wars chess set after being inspired by a few different versions I've seen online. I want a neat way to display my SW minifig collection and to expand into some of the figs I don't have. A few Bricklink orders have been placed and I've sorted out most of my piece selections. just thought I'd canvass the community on ones where I'm a little undecided. So vote away! Question 1 - Rebel pawns - Hoth trooper vs Rebel pilots Q2 - And all 8 exactly the same or have variants? Q3 - Imperial/Dark Side rooks - Wampa & Rancor vs Grievous & Droideka My board is going to have a 5x5 stud per square footprint, so not sure how well the maxi figs will fit. I'll share the progress of my build here for anyone interested in following along. It will be a fairly slow process given the shipping time to me here.1 point

I realize you are pimping your product with your first post, but I'll let it go because it is quite interesting. Good luck with it.1 point

The Toronto Store closest to me has quite a few of them. (oneknightr, like my comment too buddy)1 point

A few adjustments were made on this today, let me know if you are still having the issue --------------------------- On a different note, as I mentioned early last month, starting today, June 1st, we are now starting with the 2% fee on sold items. This gets taken out automatically at the time of purchase. So for example, if someone buys something for $100, a buyer will see that $98 is going to the vendor and $2 is going to Brick Classifieds. There will be no monthly invoice statements from us.1 point

I haven't seen Tower Bridge at my local stores for a couple months now. Last time I saw them on the shelf was this past February at the store in San Diego.1 point

My son bought himself that set and, of course, that was his favorite part about it. He made sure to give me a demonstration.1 point

For the Clone Wars fans out there. If you haven't seen the "Bad Batch" episodes yet, they are available online. There is also a cool panel available from the SW Celebration (I would watch it after seeing the story arc, as it does discuss some details from the story). http://dorksideoftheforce.com/2015/04/29/the-clone-wars-bad-batch-story-reels-are-now-online/1 point

I used to check the Canadian Tire website for LEGO periodically. I hadn't checked in maybe 3 weeks but this morning I found they listed a lot of LEGO on their online store. If there will be sales that remains to be seen but they have 317 items now instead of the old 30-40.1 point

No, but I am the one that opened my big mouth. Lol To me, if they performed as the character, they get credit. So yes, Cesar Romero counts.1 point

Man, these look great. I'm going crazy over the BTTF packs. $29.99 is pretty steep for Marty, the mini Delorean and the hover board. Wait, did I just hear myself correctly? A hover board?? Did I say a hover board?? It's got a freakin' hover board?!?!?! Sweet!!!1 point

Ugh. I just posted in that thread. That thread gave me a headache. The people in there are nuts. Sorry, but saying a voice actor doesn't count gets you zero respect from me.1 point

IIRC, MM was around the middle of the month. With fairly lackluster promos so far this year, I think we're looking at a similar situation.1 point

Are we taking bets what day they run out of Winter Soldier polys? ☺️1 point

Whatever is it, it should be in style. No fancy new sports car or whatever; more something like this:1 point

Wasn't there talk previously that Chris Pratt was the only actor with three different mini figure characters? With the Trickster, Mark Hamill joins him.1 point

My best guess would be around 10-15. You can add brackets all along the inner frame if you want to really stabilize it. I added what I thought was a little more than just enough.1 point

If that list of sets is his investment strategy, then he doesn't know how to play the game.1 point

Only thing even remotely interesting is the Statue of Liberty and the Ferrari/Lambo. AA and tumbler, OK. Most of the rest is dump-lot fodder.1 point

So he won't say what price he wants, it just has to be over $1000 and you have to guess. If you guess 5x that amount he is offended and won't talk to you again. You were supposed to read his mind and offer him the price he wants instead of him, you know, just asking what he wants. No wonder this guy is a failure at lego reselling and has to dump his entire lot at once.1 point

I will look into buying these when they turn 2 years old. What's going on? Look, I get TH through everyone for a loop but every set is NOT TH and TOOS is NOT EOL. This is getting old. It's a self fullfilling prophecy at this point. Something goes TOOS for normal production reasons, and the herd jumps on it cause it is a sure sign of EOL. Doesn't matter if the set has been out 2 years or 2 months. People are seriously asking if Slave 1 is EOL??? Are you f-ing kidding me?? So they start hoarding and buying up all the stock everywhere which causes further shortages. Which is used as further proof of empending EOL. Own Worst Enemy PS, I apoloigize for my mispelling but the new site updates have broken Firefox's spellchecker.1 point

Based on the piece counts on the boxes for the various packs, I would be inclined to anticipate that nothing is glued together or preassembled. http://www.amazon.com/LEGO-Movie-Pack-Not-Machine-Specific/dp/B00VMB6014/ref=sr_1_9?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1428599367&sr=1-9&keywords=LEGO+Dimensions http://www.amazon.com/Back-Future-Level-Pack-Machine-Specific/dp/B00VMB5VB4/ref=sr_1_18?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1428599387&sr=1-18&keywords=LEGO+Dimensions http://www.amazon.com/Ninjago-Team-Pack-Not-Machine-Specific/dp/B00VMB643I/ref=sr_1_19?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1428599387&sr=1-19&keywords=LEGO+Dimensions1 point

I really love all those nice displays! (And storage room photos of well though I thought there was a thread especially for that). There are quite some great pictures and I especially love the fact that there are other nutcases who love LEGO like I do Don't really have any big displays right now since I lack the space and the time to do so. But I got my minifigs displayed and maybe some here enjoy the pictures so I'll post some of them ^.^1 point
