Decent day today: Lord Business Evil Lair - $21 (PM at TRU to a local WM) Metalbeard's Duel - $29 (Target PM to their own website) 2x Ninjago MechDragon for $20 each Complete set of the $15 Speed Champion race cars I wasn't impressed with the Speed Champions, but saw them today and was really wow'd. I really like this! I decided I *needed* these for my desk at work.2 points

found a 9493 in store today at TRU, 36R4 for those interested. Forced me to get another jedi cruiser to get the cost down with the BOGO 40 deal.2 points

Free shipping doesn't really skew the cost of business much more if you build it into the price correctly. Always play it on the high side and then reap the rewards if someone buys the item in the same zone as you. It also gives you more room to work with if you have "Best Offer" enabled. If they are in the same zone as you, it gives you more wiggle room to negotiate.2 points

I've sold 10 or so at $220 over the past couple weeks, so I guess it's time to bump the price.1 point

Sold 3 this week at 220, 225 and 230. Shipped and on eBay. They seem to have jumped in price a bit this week. Will hold onto my last one for awhile to compare it with LEGOs new model.1 point

Hit my local Kmart to return some video games I "thought" were a good flip and my family was with me. My wife is like the Mixels good luck charm. She found 2 full boxes. A Series 2 and Series 1!!!! I couldn't belive it. Full price $4.99 each but I always have Kmart giftcards and coupons that get anything I buy there 20%+ off. So siked on the Series 1 finds, I found some last month at Wegmans too and now I can sell some complete sets next Christmas. Love these guys and my son is addicted. I finally caved in and gave him some Yellow guys. That seems to be everyones favorite. Happiness beats profits, sometimes1 point

220 shipped on Amazon. About what I was getting for them when they went oos after Christmas. Figured I'd cash out and run since my buy in was $100 or so. Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Brickpicker mobile app1 point

It looks like this little guy has finally passed AA on Amazon/FBA. Out of the gate AA was the clear winner, especially around Christmas time. Now it looks like R2 is pulling ahead, and should lengthen his lead once the movie fever hits. I'll be honest, I wanted more AA than R2 at first. I jumped on the R2 bandwagon, mostly thanks to Trek and others on here. Then, when AA suddenly vanished I was bummed because I didn't hit my quota. Now I'm feeling OK about my ratio between these two. Star Wars is king.1 point

I'm just glad the 'dreaded sticker effect' did not affect the minifigures like last time LEGO had the Ferrari license where even the characters needed stickers for their torso details. I'm not a fan of the need for stickers at all but I must say they did a great job capturing most of the essential body lines enough to where the vehicles look smooth enough on their own and stickers are not really required. The new tires, hubcaps, mudguards, and windscreen pieces are super sweet.1 point

LOL, I just remember it as a kid. I saw the movie then the TV show came out. I looked it up again too and saw Dana Carvey, seemed an odd casting choice seeing how his career turned out. 2 Football players too lol. I'd probably watch it now and be very unimpressed. Helicopters were in back then with Airwolf following and Magnum using one too. LEGO is just revisiting the 80s1 point

I actually had to look Blue Thunder up I am going to bow to experience on this one (Lol it had Dana Carvey AND Hightower from Police Academy)1 point

my entire order of CT are en route except "1" tacking number which does not have any status update. so i am assuming that (is going to be lost and i would need to get in touch with the customer service at a later date to track the order). original schedule was 2/25 but looks like now there is a even split but some arriving 2/24 and some 2/25 .... will see how it goes ...1 point

I just checked the regular walmart site and the remaining 4 orders 12 cartons have shipped! Yea! getting all 50. First 30 UPS next 20 Fedex.1 point

Just about every new exclusive seems to sell out early, so why is this situation any different? You can't really judge the future of a set by the first week of sales.1 point
-
I have had this set since I bought it in 2006 and we have built it with the kids each Holiday season. I added the motor in 2007 and is has been part of oir winter village display ever since and the kids still love. Great set!1 point

It would seem that every time someone at Lego proposes retiring DS, a higher-up replies 'Evacuate now, in our moment of triumph? I think you overestimate their chances!'. And so a new production run begins... At the least, it would be nice for 10240 to take down 10188 on its way out.1 point
-
This set is more than awesome! And as much as I would like to buy one right now. Even with the extra wintersoldier. I think there are more urgent sets to acquire now. So I will wait and concentrate on the other exclusives. I hate to admit it. But I cannot afford one right now.1 point

*ahem* I have more than 300 TH in stock. My european friends, sell your TH, you will not make profits anymore when I'll decide to enter the game. (alright, my 3x TH should do well after this post)1 point

good news now is you can priority mail a lot of the larger sets in your close zones for $10-13. So in essence as long as they even out in the long run it takes the sting out of it. Strange when you can send a SSD type package to Ohio for $10-12 yet sending a ToO out west is $25-30 with the dimensional charge I still leave it all free as it does seem to balance out to what I have mentally figured in to the cost.1 point
