There is a new feature available to those of you that may not have wanted to start from scratch and re-list all of your current eBay products. This feature will hopefully make that process a little faster. In the Products section of the Vendor admin areas, you will see a new link for "Import from eBay". Its a pretty simple and fast setup. You will see an eBay Connect/Reconnect button that will bring you to eBay and ask for your permission for Brick Classifieds to get your listings. They basically pass us a token to allow us to list your items for you to select and import. It will show you all your current listings. If there are non LEGO related listings, you can keep those unchecked and it will only import the ones you want to import. You will also have the ability to select a small discount to your current pricing. If you would like to lower the price by 5% or even 10% it will adjust those prices on import. Once you select all your desired items to be imported, process them and you will then see all of them listed and ready to be edited and made live. All imported items default to the non active status. You will still need to add/adjust a few things to make sure it fits the Brick Classifieds format. It will import your Title, Description, Price, Quantity, condition (if available) and images. You will still need to select the category, enter tags and do shipping. If you are using stock photos on eBay, these will need to be turned into personal photos for Brick Classifieds. This has been going really well on the site, and we do not want to deviate from this. Note: All my listings above are fake, just used for testings... Hopefully this feature will encourage some of you that are just on eBay to import your listings here and continue to build the marketplace. If you are running into issues, please send me a PM and we will figure it out. Feedback is always welcome. There is also a sync process setup to monitor your eBay listings. If it is sold on eBay, it will update your Brick Classifieds listings. It can subtract quantity or make your listing in-active. Thank you13 points

And somewhere in LEGO's secret lair: Crap! They found it out! Now we have to conspicuously retire a different exclusive!3 points

By the way, I hear the Tumbler is on its last legs. Absurd, you say? Nope, Town Hall. Slave I is on the way out too. I know that because Town Hall and because Lego hates resellers.3 points

why are people all hurt about a satellite. its a satellite. do people really want this model or they are looking for another mars rover for sales? Wall-E was probably an easy call since its disney and they have license. i personally like the model and will buy for myself.2 points

YES! Doctor Who will be incredible. And I'm so very hopeful that this will be the start of a whole line of Doctor Who LEGO. I will be hoarding these as much as I can. A) I want it for myself, and need to get it for my Whovian friends. This will have a much larger appeal that just LEGO fans. Whovians will gobble this up.2 points

I still think it's best to make decisions based on known statistics and patterns. You can remain open to the possibility that seemingly improbable things can happen without assuming that they absolutely will happen. That said, I would concede that it is not crazy to load up on the PC now if one desires; it HAS been out for 2 years. But in my mind there is no plausible evidence available to suggest that it is retiring in the next 12 months. Honestly I'm just getting a bit sick of people claiming that X set is probably retiring soon, giving no rationale behind their claim and then hiding behind a Town Hall box when the criticism rolls in.2 points

OK, just keep believing conspiracy theories and basing your decisions around sets that are the exception rather than those that are the rule.2 points

Trek is late to the game. Trek absolutely loves this! Trek wants one himself! Trek is sad because he knows Lego and Paramount CBS will never have a licensing deal. Trek needs to pretend Star Trek is made out of Lego. Trek wants to be happier. Trek will go back to focusing on being first person in line for a Helicarrier at the Lego store 2 hours away on opening day like an Apple fanboy waiting for an iPhone 7. Trek discloses he is an apple fanboy as well but no longer stands in line for apple like he does for Lego. Trek will stand in line for Helicarrier. Trek is thinking "Be the Helicarrier" like "Be the Ball" in Caddyshack. Trek now can forget about Star Trek not being real lego. Trek is happier. Trek gives a shout out to Darth Raichu and all the other Star Trek Fans on BP. Trek feels better now. Trek will be starting shortly Into Darkness Star Trek 2 by JJ Abrams because of this thread. Trek likes to pretend it is somehow related to Star Wars and it makes Episode VII and the UCS Tie Fighter all the closer. Trek says I love BP. Trek signs off.2 points

I like to list with stock photos. I describe the item as not mint and request buyers to contact me first if they are concerned about box condition. A soon as they contact me I ban them. Frustration and hissy fit free. I won't sell any other way on ebay.2 points

I'm only up to 20...will try to get another 10 this month. I'm going to stop buying once price goes over $500. I would REALLY like 50 of these now. I'll post a pic if I come close.1 point

We will unload ours at $1500. There are alot of people who want a complete modular collection and I will be happy to help them out at this price.1 point

F'ing awesome! Love Wall-E and it looks sooo good compared to what was in the movie. Screw the Hubble and Dr. Who. I don't care for either, but I know there are fans of both.1 point

Sorry for butting in stephen, but I would recommend renaming the 'Ideas 2014 - Results' thread as 'IDEAS Results' and moving this there since the conversation is already going on in that topic.1 point

I think there is a good chance PC is the next modular to go. The only question is will it be at the end of 2015 or will it be with PS at the end of 2016. If I am TLG I retire no modulars in 2015 and retire both PC and PS at the end of 2016. Right now modular collectors and resellers are in a panic after TH so sales for these 2 are huge right now and will be huge all year long. TLG knows in the USA resellers are going to clean out big box on these two sets all through 2015 so why help them out by retiring them in 2015. No reason to reduce production of either set in 2015 after retiring both GE and TH last year. PC sells unlike TH. Alot of big exclusives retired in 2014 so plenty of production slots are available.Keep pumping them out through 2015 limit 5 and cut production mid 2016 and limit 2 into retirement fall/end of 2016. If my goal is to maximize sales, give end users the greatest opportunity and hang resellers out to dry this is how I would play it. If PC was a dust collector like TH I could see it going soon but I do not believe that to be the case. I also have a sneeking suspicion quite a few foiks will be going to a cinema at the end of 2015 and TLG may just come out with another additional movie poster sticker set with PC purchase at the end of this year1 point

Amazon: # of sellers: 244 (-2 w/w) BB price: ******/A lowest price: $37.94 (+$0.72 w/w) #982 in Toys & Games (See Top 100 in Toys & Games) slight uptick in price and down tick in sellers. looks like they are still being bought...1 point

Thoughts on the 76020 set - Escape from Nowhere. I like the large Groot minifig - not a big set but the figs and being the 1st movie has some appeal here.1 point

If it makes you feel better I want to get 5 PC very soon. It has nothing to do with whether it is retiring or not. I would guess not but Stephen is right all the rules have changed. The only reason I am buying them soon is I can't imagine being without a few of them. I will take a lot of flack for it being my favorite I think but I am a movie nut and this is my favorite recent modular (from FB forward). Trek1 point

That was funny like so many other 'honest' trailers. Now I hate to burst anyone's bubble but is any film or TV show anymore not some sort of advertisement with product placement everywhere? If people want to go down that road, well, at least The LEGO Movie was upfront about it to the point where you couldn't really care less or notice. Besides if it took the film to get someone to notice the brand, they're wannabe posers. There's my 'honest' post. :P1 point

People who want mint boxes and not a shipping label slapped on the lego box, kicked out the door and then takes over a week to get to you.1 point

Now THAT concept turns me on. I'd rather take my wife to see a movie based on those laments, too.1 point

I'm not trying to bust your you know what but your attitude is precisely why scammers are so successful. Your logic is if it's a scam oh well ebay or paypal has got my back. Meanwhile the scammer got away Scott free with your money. Who do think reimburses you? The thief? It comes from PayPal or ebay who have to foot the bill, and then people wonder why the fees they charge keep going up and up.1 point

All this practice does is hurt the legitimate ebay sellers including most of you on here, yet every time one of these type auctions comes up of $50 Death Stars or half price this and that people bid on them with the hope they are going to get something that will never come. It affects ebay sellers as a whole as ebay then takes proactive measures like restricting additional accounts a legitimate user may have or putting harsher monthly limits on sellers to protect them from getting more damage from hacked accounts. If something is over 50% off on a hot item you know its not legitimate so why bother!!!! The attitude that I am covered by paypal and ebay so it doesn't matter is the wrong one to have. It still have repercussions on the site as a whole. Just report these type auctions instead of purchasing them and hoping for the best.1 point

Just finished the build of the Ultra Agents Hurricane Heist (#70164) I was really exicted to build it and see its mecanism but in the end... I was bored by the fact that nearly everything has to be build x2 - feet - legs - weapons - wings And the build itself wasn't spectacular. About the mecanism, I'm a little disappointed too, it works ok but you can't crush minifigs, fans just turn in the air (ok that's what they're supposed to do). And the transformation into a spaceship is disappointing too (well, I was just expecting too much). What is great is that it's nice without stickers, so I didn't applied them... I'm not sure that'll keep this set. It's an ok set but right now I'm just a bit disappointed. Pros: - really cool bad guy minifig with a nice mask (it remembers me... MASK, from the 80's) - the little motorcycle (good guys) included is a cool mini-vehicule - no need to apply stickers - surprisingly stable - an off-beat vehicule Cons: - quite a boring build (x2 this, x2 that) - not that much playable (it's supposed to use wind as a main weapon...) - nor displayable (chicken legs makes it look a bit stupid in "robot" mode)1 point

Yep...same seal codes for me. Order placed last sat from Lego, delivered today. I couldn't take it. I popped the seals and we are going to build it tonight. Very excited!1 point

I need an excuse to be the four-thousand-and-1th- poster to this thread- so I offer you this: The Super Star Destroyer is super. I just hope- and secretly fear- that it may, one day, destroy our own star (the sun). Things would get really cold then, and I am already irritated by my $200+ $ heating bill a month. Imagine what that bill would be if we didn't have our sun to warm things up. So I say this to you, Super Star Destroyer: Have a field day out there in the Galaxy. But leave our Sun alone.1 point
