There is supposed to be a new trailer of this during the Super Bowl today. It is supposed to include the original cast which will be great to see. I hope this is true.7 points

Sold two arctic planes the last couple of days at $89.95. Had several watchers too. I only listed two and have 8 remaining (found another one recently). I think I need to sit on these long term rather than quick flip to appeal to completionists of the arctic series in a year or two... Just my guess.2 points

Since something bizarre happened to the original topic dedicated for the new theme, I am merely making this as a temporary replacement for further discussion until or if the original thread can be restored. Moving along the last bit of news was we have an image for the Mystery Machine and Mystery Mansion sets which I shall attach below. Release date is around August this year.1 point

Just wait a couple of hours afterwards and you will see a bunch of videos with just Superbowl commercials on Youtube1 point

They aren't in competition at all--the Ghostbusters need a Town Hall in which to meet the mayor about disturbances at the Haunted House.1 point

All of mine from Toys R Us came in Lego boxes and all were mint. I have great luck with Toys R Us but these were unusually good quality. I hope everyones comes that way.1 point

Rubeus Hagrid had fingers on his hand pieces, but these hands don't look right. Also, Professor Trelawney's legs are a brick piece, so you may want to look through the parts bin instead of the figure parts to find it.1 point

She is of the Harry Potter era where they stopped making yellow heads and went with the light peach flesh color. She's pretty valuable since she only came in one set, Hogwarts Castle 4757.1 point

The hands are Mega Bloks but the torso is from one of the LEGO Indiana Jones sets I believe.1 point

This thread sure did cool off. I used to get updates all the time everyday. Now........nothing. I'll start it up......It will be 4 years this year since this set was released. Is it going away this year? Let the flurry of responses begin........1 point

I deleted the other post because I wanted all the Lego for myself. I created the legend of the "Ghost Post" to scare off would be investors, and I would have got away with it if it wasn't for those meddling kids.1 point

Yup i have done that in the past! Then i ran into the issues of having some stuff only on the Canadian Netflix Vs. the US, and just gave up altogether and went the darker route.1 point

Check the FAQ http://www.brickpicker.com/index.php/frequently_asked_questions Where does the data come from for the values of the Lego sets? The data is obtained directly from eBay.com through a partnership called Terapeak. We pay a yearly license in order to obtain the data. How often is the data for the guide updated? The data is updated once a month, usually by the end of the first week of the new month. We need to wait until eBay delivers all the files for the previous month before we can start the process of aggregating all the prices for the sets. Do the Price/Set Guide estimated values include shipping costs? No. This is a topic that brings much debate. Our thoughts on this topic was to remove the volatile shipping costs from the calculation. A LEGO set sold to a person 10 miles from the seller would have a different shipping cost than the same set sold to a person 10,000 miles away. Most major retailers do not include shipping costs when describing a LEGO set for sale. It is a special or deal at times to get1 point
