Ed and I have decided that it is time to open up Brick Classifieds to everyone. At this time, we invite all of our members to take a look around, register, create your store and start posting items if you got them. As with any new launch, every feature you are hoping for may not be developed or active yet. Over the coming days, weeks, months, there will be a steady stream of enhancements to get the site where it needs to be. The current small team of beta testers has done a great job of getting it started and provided some great feedback. We already have about close to 400 items posted! There has also been a handful of transactions completed amongst the beta testers We have created a support site and forum just for the classifieds. You can visit that site at: http://support.brickclassifieds.com Of course we will still look for feedback and answer questions here on Brickpicker. I have opened up the the **BETA** thread to everyone now and of course feel free to send me a private message if you would like to report an issue or have feedback. Ed will be following up my post with some more details on some guidelines about Brick Classifieds to make sure we get started in the right direction and move to make this marketplace fast growing, trusted and the place to buy and sell LEGO. I think we are off to a good start. NOTE: The ability for NON-USA vendors to change the currency to their local currency is now available. ****CLICK HERE TO VISIT BRICK CLASSIFIEDS****7 points

In the back of the instructions for the Valentine's Day Dinner set, there was this picture showing the next possible small seasonal set of a diorama. No official name just yet same as the other for a few days but it appears to be another couple this time decorating the eggs for Easter. Just noticed this will have some dark red masonry bricks which is fantastic in my opinion.2 points

on a serious note. I would think it is same to assume that AA, HH, TH and R2 are not as heavily hoarded as the GE2 points

There are no refunds from Brick Classifieds (unless it is a system generated error and you got charged 10 times for one transaction or something like that). If a transaction happens properly, we collect our fee for the advertising of your listing which was completed at that point. If you want to include a restocking fee, that is up to you, make sure it is listed on your policies and explain that to the person who wants to return an item and I guess they will need to pay you via paypal. All of this is after the transaction.2 points

I wouldn't communicate with the seller by phone. I would communicate through only eBay's message system so that all communication is documented and can be accessed by eBay customer service.2 points

I was told on the phone by CS that as long as it's documented through messaging that I am ok to send to the requested address. Never hurts to double check though, just to be safe!2 points

Well, the day is finally here. Brick Classifieds has finally launched after numerous versions, trials and tribulations. Jeff has worked real hard over the past year and a half to give LEGO fans, collectors, investors and those dreaded resellers a place to sell their AUTHENTIC LEGO items for a fair fee. Jeff and the BETA testers have been working hard correcting minor issues and improving usability. There will be issues and shortcomings, but this is what the BETA is for...to work out the kinks. We want your feedback. With your input and patience, we can all benefit from our new venture. You can read the INTRODUCTION TO BRICK CLASSIFIEDS, RULES OF THE BRICK CLASSIFIEDS and the BRICK CLASSIFIEDS FAQs to learn more about the basics of the site, but here are some basic guidelines and rules: Please post at least one actual photo of the item you are selling. IT SELLS. Trust a long time buyer like myself, in today's world of frauds and fakes, pictures help reduce issues and improves sales. Please list and give an accurate description of the items being sold. Please package and ship items properly Please leave honest feedback. Both buyers and sellers will be able to leave feedback(it will be implemented fully in a couple of days). Use PayPal to exchange money. Price your items reasonably. Our fees during the BETA are FREE, after the BETA, there will be a 2% commission added to every transaction, the lowest in the business. Pass these savings onto the buyer. Be honest. No funny business. No fakes. No dropshipping. Only real LEGO items will be sold. Jeff and I will try to help with any serious issues, but the bottom line is: The Transaction is between the buyer and the seller. Brick Classifieds or its owners are not responsible for any listing or transaction. We are the advertising source. We accept a small fee for this and will recommend that members leave feedback and report issues to PayPal. Honestly, if you want guarantees, use eBay or Amazon and pay 10% or more commissions. I hope that the BrickPicker community enjoys the Brick Classifieds and uses them to make lots of money. Jeff and I will be working hard to improve the current version and to spread the word throughout the LEGO community and beyond... Thanks...Ed Mack2 points

I guess I posted in the wrong thread. I found 5 death stars at a local liquidation store (mom and pop type) with outer boxes and were in perfect condition for 240$ each. also picked up 3 simpsons houses for 140$ each (boxes were horrendous though) an arkham asylum and Parisian Restaurant for 100 each$ my favorite store ever!2 points

A bunch of little emerald trains for $1.50 and some decorate the tree polys for $2.40.2 points

Yeah, nicer than me, too, by about 2 and 1/2 weeks. Rule #1: Don't list it until you have the materials in your hands to safely ship it. I don't even know what to say about tissue paper packaging. In winter no less. I may have to take up drinking.2 points

I'm actually building the Pet Shop for the moment. The first of 2 buildings is done: I like: The cellar, the technique to get the round window, the set-up with the rounding stairs and toilet beneath it. The painter. It's a smaller building for sure, but that adds in variety to the street. Haven't started the true pet shop yet though. In a collection, it's fine I think1 point

To update my situation I contacted seller. He told. Me usps wrapped it. No apology or anything. I sent a long message that was very civil. Just asking what he would like to do... Return or that if accept a partial refund etc. Told me usps fault they wrapped it. Reslly?! Ignored my reply. So I opened my first snad case ever. Hate to do it but if one is not going to take responsibility well then I'm going for the throat. Negative feedback etc. The whole thing. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Brickpicker mobile app1 point

I can confirm there is a separate piece to replace step 42. It is, however, exactly the same as the page except that they have included a little pic of you peeling the protective sheeting off the mirror before putting it in place. I guess people were confused by that step or something. If you have half a brain, the insert is completely unnecessary. I have to disagree with some of you guys about the one large book for the instructions though. Yes, the book is far better constructed than previous ones, but the fact that it is all in one is problematic for people like us who build together. In the past, my wife would grab one book and I another, and we would build together. That isn't possible now with one large book. Since you can build it in sections, they should keep the instructions in sections. Otherwise, it is a really nice set both to see and to build. The Mixel elements adapt well, and the "new" techniques that they discussed using are fun to try. I had to rebuild the bottom of my Cafe Corner last night and I can tell you they have come a long way in 7 years.1 point

TMNT 79012 stealth shell pursuit - $29 (this is significant for me bc it's the 1st TMNT set I've sold). It's still early, but was starting to think this theme was a mistake. Lion Chi Temple - $1471 point

Just in case you missed it there are TWO bags numbered 5,7, and 10. Check your box and bags again there should be another smaller bag 5.1 point

This a great set to keep for another 1-2 years at the least. Enjoy the year(s) of growth before selling. This set should achieve at last $75 again (in year 1) as it wasn't widely available from Aug to Dec.1 point

Here is a unique review by Oky over on Eurobricks with black & white shots and everything. Lego City. It's a dangerous town. It may seem all happy and colorful at first glance, but if you've lived there as long as I have, you'd know that it's a dirty cesspool of crime and corruption. It seems like there is a bank robbery, jail break, or fire every day. The police refuses to use guns and seems to be more concerned about getting haircuts than fighting crime, so they're not really helping. And ever since candy got outlawed, several smuggling circles have cropped up all over town. This city has gone to the dogs, and that's why I decided to become a private eye, to solve the crimes that the bumbling police force can't.1 point

sold 3 Pirates of the Caribean Black Pearls for 600% (got them for 49.50$ at Walmart, I know it wasnt a 2014 set but I sold them in 2014, lol)1 point

You are not alone on this one.. Was cleaning up and just looked at my two received from AZ yesterday. Mine have 36R4 on bottom (single taped) and the top has 50R4 taped over the seals that are normally not numbered. Boxes in pristine condition. I ordered some from Target earlier today, will be interesting to see if these are the same.1 point

big fan as i've stated. could be as simple as colors but i think certain ones make for the coolest max mixel. example, i think yellow has the worst characters alone, but mix them together and the max mixel is pretty awesome. i think red of series 1 has the coolest characters. series 2, i'm also a fan of the brown and all the teeth and does make a cool max. the orange is kinda weak, blue is ok but Lunk has to be the worst of all mixels imo. flurry is very popular as is tentro and jawg. top 3 right there for series 2. series 3, purple are my fav max but scorpi is my fav solo. green kinda lacks for me. tan is cool aside from footi. he's pretty awful. series 4 the red coming back (increasing series 1 red imo) and especially the new glow in the dark ones are gonna be huge. the space ones look pretty weak. it will take quite a while for their values to increase as will series 3 but at $2 i don't blame ya's, i'd be getting hundreds as well. shame i don't have that deal around me. meijer seems to be a gold mine store!! mixels really are genius and the creativity is endless. it's a home run. still quite a lot of series 3 near me but i think by end of january i'll start seeing them going especially when 4 comes out in february. as for the nixels. they are ok. just a few pieces. i could see some people wanting an army of them. not sure it'd be worth it for lego to produce a bag of them. like 4-5 per bag. and i wouldn't say the ones that come with a nixel are selling for more, in fact because it's not listed on the package if i'm correct, i don't think most know or think about which come with a nixel. parents certainly have no clue. i think actually the ones that come with a nixel so happen to be the low sellers. i think lego chose them on purpose maybe cause they thought they were the weaker characters of each set. i really wish i had $2 mixels around me.1 point

My sales stopped when two things happened - I raised my prices from $122 to $125, AND I added individual and small set Mixels to my store. My individual sales have been fantastic, but my full sets stopped selling. I'm fine with that. I'm holding steady at least at $125. I'll let people undercut me for now, and then slowly increase once again when I start getting sales again.1 point

it would help if people selling the series 1 stuck to their guns and stopped undercutting each other. i mean there's only a handful of full sets. it's not like there's a ton of competition. start bumping them up to $150 and if everyone does, people will have to pay it cause they aren't getting series 1 any other way. then series 2 will soon follow the lead. obviously i know how it works and just saying this more as a wish and not thinking it will happen because people want sales so undercutting is always necessary and goes with any product. haha. but it has dipped from $125 to $110 regularly because there's been more popping up. hopefully sellers stick to $125 and once most are gone and the people who have tons of sets on here can start slowly putting them out there for more. i believe big time in mixels...all series. hold on to them for a while longer. no rush to sell. i also think with series 4 introducing more infernites, that people will want the original ones, thus pushing series 1 up again. i also saw they were going to produce a game, is that the app they are talking about? or could there actually be a lego mixels game such like all the other xbox/ps games? i think there is potential for a great game like that. then sets would really drive up with that hype.1 point
