  3. Ok, so here are a list of things that have been updated today. Postal codes are fixed and can enter letters now Address order/format has been fixed on invoices WYSIWYG Editor now contains buttons for font size, color/background color. NEW FEATURE - Vendors now have the option to display their full quantity count or like ebay if the quantity is over 10, it will just show a message that there are more than 10 in stock. Click the Info & Appearance Link on the left side bar. Added an envelope icon with message count on top menu bar of main site if you have a message waiting for you. (i will continually work on the discussion pages to make it easier to use) Activated the automatic approval of stores instead of waiting for us to activate you. We will be watching everything closely, but just incase there are new users, they won't be left waiting. Fixed some issues with the Tags trying to keep them clean and not make duplicates. NEW FEATURE - Copy/Duplicate Product. You should see a new icon in your Vendor product list that will copy the selected product. I believe it duplicates everything but the Title, Tags and Image. Make sure you change any quantity, price, description, etc. ENHANCED FEATURE (BADGES) - There is a new link at the bottom of the left sidebar labelled "Your Badges" in the vendor area that will allow vendors to put in links to the eBay, Bricklink, Brickowl and Amazon Shops. Submit the links to trigger a notification to us to check your shops and approve the badge. Later i will make the badges hot links to the other shops if people want to check them out to see if you have good feedback. On Search pages, there are a few more sorting options for highest/lowest price, newest/oldest listings.

  5. Maybe she's giving him one of those rings meant to go around a 'certain appendage'. You know for, um, 'longer lasting endurance & stamina'. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, know what I mean, say no more.

  6. I have to remove that ring somehow before I give it to my girlfriend. I don't want to give her ideas yet

  7. I like your idea. This is where the community will have to help Jeff and I. We are quite aware of counterfeits and it is an ever increasing issue. Jeff and I will monitor listings carefully, but there will be some frauds that will try to sell a $100 minifigure for $5 and we won't catch it. When this is ready to go live, we will post the basic rules in the Classifieds forum along with what is in the sites FAQs and help pages. We will be much more proactive with counterfeits than any other site. This I can promise, but we will need everyone's help to get rid of questionable listings.

  9. I bought from him. While BC is in beta, our listings are live to us to be ready for the public when it formally rolls out. Not only did I want the figures he had listed, but wanted to make sure things worked correctly in a live setting. I think folks, both buyers and sellers, are going to like this setup and find it is really easy to use and navigate. As it gets more use and feedback, it will run even better.

  13. Not sure why you want to return. Going for decent return despite recent second and final release. Would sell, buy, repeat to run the wild supply down while turning a profit, especially if talking about taking time to do returns.

  16. It might be worth stating something about genuine Lego products only on the site. This may be more trouble than it is worth, but with the huge number of inauthentic Lego sets on Ebay these days, it might be helpful to say that although we don't guarantee authentic Lego products are being sold, this is a marketplace for only authentic Lego, and those selling counterfeit Legos will be banned. This would be another way of making BC more distinct. I have not thought through all the implications of this and so it may be a bad idea to state something like this explicitly, but I'm interested to hear others thoughts on it.

  17. *edit* Like a dummy I didn't put the set name in the title. Pirate Ship Ambush. I'm fairly certain that this guy is done and not coming back, however futureshop seems to have stock right now for 99.99$ (30$ off ). I'm on investment lock down for the time being so I have to pass, but I like this one, own this one, and believe it is one of the two or three LOTR sets that could make money So have-at for any of ya'll interested. FS also has a few other sets on sale, but nothing as significant as this one.

  20. Its basic stock management for companies especially retail. It would be more beneficial for LEGO to clear out their Christmas line on a yearly basis to save on the various costs relating to shelving the units until Christmas comes along again. The WMV retired at the start of Jan 14 for Europe and was brought back closer to Christmas, so as far as I can tell it will be the same thing.

  21. And all done... I made a teenie modification so that the unnumbered plate could stay with the vehicle. I added a 1x3 beam into an open space under the hood and used the leftover stubby blue pins. Here is the plate attached. Finished shots... In the words of my seven year old son... "This thing is a beast."

  26. Early Wednesday morning, I saw two separate guys at Hodgkins Target spin through the Lego aisle doing a little clearance checking. One guy grabbed a MC Cave, while the other didn't see anything he liked and kept moving. Two QFLLs on full display - the guy who grabbed the last Cave took it off the shelf as my son and I were discussing whether he wanted to buy it or another set for his collection (fortunately, my son landed on the Wookie Gunship once the Cave was gone). I had to chuckle a little - two separate people casing the Lego aisle not 10 minutes apart...

  29. Here is a unique review by Oky over on Eurobricks with black & white shots and everything. Lego City. It's a dangerous town. It may seem all happy and colorful at first glance, but if you've lived there as long as I have, you'd know that it's a dirty cesspool of crime and corruption. It seems like there is a bank robbery, jail break, or fire every day. The police refuses to use guns and seems to be more concerned about getting haircuts than fighting crime, so they're not really helping. And ever since candy got outlawed, several smuggling circles have cropped up all over town. This city has gone to the dogs, and that's why I decided to become a private eye, to solve the crimes that the bumbling police force can't.

  39. Many in the past. Going from pretty much all the Batman 1 sets to many exclusives to The Zombies. I think in the modern day of Lego investing, 3x MSRP might be the new goal to achieve. I see only a couple of sets that have 5x potential and it could a while. Town Hall, RI (again) and , Haunted House (depending on the Scooby Doo version), If the Ghostbusters set retired early, I think that would hit $200 because of the popularity and upcoming movie.
