  1. All I know is a bunch of old people and Packer's fans shop there the first Wednesday of every month. I think it's in another dimension.

  2. Well here is a quick update. Ed and I are working through looking over the site right now together. He is working on editing content about the rules of the site and FAQ type of questions. I believe probably tomorrow will finally be the day that the mods and maybe a few others will get their hands on it to help look for some final bugs and solicit feedback. As of right now, we are looking to kick off the New Year with launching this to everyone. Why not start the year off with something new and interesting. Here is a screenshot of where we are at right now. The overall setup that this site is taking is that it will be just like a "classifieds" or even a flea market. There will not be a true category structure like you see on Bricklink or Brickowl. It will be more tag based where it will be up to the community to help place their items in the areas that they feel may work for them. This will really keep it to be a wide open marketplace that anything LEGO related will be able to be posted. No waiting for us to update categories or sets. I will release more details and screenshots over the coming days, but I just wanted to get it out there that the end is near and time to move forward.

  7. Used / complete 10173 Holiday Train (no instructions or box) for $385 shipped. Seven day auction starting at $250. Six bids. I purchased it about a month ago as part of a bulk lot off of craigslist. My cost on it came out to just under $96. This will help pay for all of the Benny's and Malls I bought today.

  10. So, I get a message from a buyer (0 feedback) stating "Great seller, fast shipping and great item." I reply saying thanks for the feedback, but you have to click the "leave feedback" link in the auction details for it to count. 20 minutes later I get another message from the buyer: "Great seller, fast shipping and great item." Oy...... probably someone's grandma.

  12. Hehe anyone listening to my EOL predictions is asking for trouble to be fair. I'm willing to keep an open mind on this one, but I just can't see a reason to think it's not on the way out.

  19. Not many Packers fans in my neck of the woods, we've got this thing called the sun, it scares them all away. Other than online, I've got Target, Wal Mart, one each for TRU and KMart (both 45 minutes away) and a trio of B&Ns. The TRU and KMart are both living on borrowed time.

  30. I have kicked around that idea of a restocking fee, but just like having quick & easy returns set up (which I have tried) - it tends to backfire. The quick & easy is definitely a defect magnet, as it is too easy to claim something was wrong and avoid return shipping costs - just by clicking a button (without the need to contact the buyer to explain). I believe that restocking charges would only make buyers who experience "buyers remorse" more likely to feel justified in abusing the system. By the way, I never have a problem with accepting a return, or canceling an order. It will sell again (generally it sells for more) - plus I like to have as much inventory as I can in my store.

  33. Do not buy them at 100 euro except when you are buying from me. I can still get two at 65 euro each. But I saw lower prices not so long ago so I am not so triggerhappy. Maybe I should breath out and squeeze?

  34. I'm so anti pills and doctors and all that crap. I could care less is something is fda approved.... Do people reslly believe what they say is legit? Pills are horrible for u. I'm even weird about taking advil. All these big pharmacy companies do a risk reward estimate on possible risks. If they can make a billion dollars of of a pill regardless if it is safe or it it's coming to market one way or another. So what if they kill a few people.... They will pay out a few million to the families and still be profitable. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Brickpicker mobile app

  35. You got lucky then. There's a few Lego Nazi's that work there that get off on limiting purchases. It's funny, cause you'll see them eyeing people and then darting over to the cashier and whispering in their ear only to sell one.

  38. We use the small ziploc bags from WalMart, you can get 2x3, 3x4, 4x6, and I think 5x7 bags there for 1 cent to 2 cents per bag. They come in packs of 100. Found in the Jewelry making aisle. I buy $10-$20 worth whenever I'm there, that I'm always afraid some alarm will go off because they think I'm a drug dealer or something. For larger lots, we just use the least expensive store brand sandwich or quart, or gallon bags from our local grocery store. Hope that helps!
