I went into Target today and there on the floor was a Sea Cow. Surprised the (*&^ out of me. I have not seen too many of those on target shelves (zero) so I picked it up and looked at the UPC tag and it said "On-line Deal $174.96" Sure enough - it rang out for $174.96 and then I used my target Credit Card for another 5% - so total with tax was $176. Woo Hoo. I threw in a Joker Steam roller so I could get the minifigure cube as well. Merry Christmas to me!!!!5 points

Here is Version 1.0 of the Brickpicker LEGO Stock Tracker. There will be a few different pages and trackers released over the coming days. This one here will be one that is updated very frequently. This list here will not grow to 100 sets or anything like that. I want to keep it focused on key sets that are desirable and sought after. This tracker will also be enhanced over the next few days to setup alerts via the site as well as email and SMS. I have included the current price on the site as well as an alert icon if the current price is higher that retail MSRP. You will also see how long ago the in-stock status was checked. This page also works well on mobile devices. For now this page is open to everyone to see what it is, but as I finish the upgrades you will need to be a member and be logged into the site in order to access it. As I mentioned earlier, there will be other pages that will be monitoring all of the sets stock and prices on Amazon, Target, LEGO, Walmart and TRU. These should be live by next week if not sooner. We will use the thread to discuss adding or removing sets on this list of constant updates. I hope you like the start, it will continue to improve. Let me know your thoughts. http://www.brickpicker.com/brickwatcher/lego_stock_checker.cfm4 points

My Superman Keychain from Lego Shop at Home shipped! I'll report the seal codes when it arrives.2 points

We could just look at the chart and figure stuff out ourselves. We have a stock checker and now we need it as easy as possible to instantly know what the best prices are and what's not. Come on just read the prices for a couple seconds. It's a great feature even if it's black white and grey because the information can be analyzed and read.2 points

What's with the desire to eat LEGO ? First DNIIM, and now you too ? Ideas for the Macks for BP T-Shirt: "I love LEGO so much I just want to eat it" :D :D2 points

Careful about that, DNIIM already is looking forward to eating a Town Hall. I recommend adding bacon and BBQ sauce.2 points

probably because they have too many sets out right now they can't produce them fast enough2 points

Two things: 1. To CC.Marley so sorry to hear about your dog, I hope for a speedy recovery. 2. My complaint is about my brain because it finally let me down. I had packages delivered and for the first time, I could honestly say "I don't remember ordering this." Stupid Lego. Ex Astris, Scientia.2 points

Be careful about that, I live only a few minutes from the center of Princeton, NJ. It gets quite pricey there But oh so good2 points

Ok, so some changes from feedback. Turned the table into a grid, all columns are sortable and it is searchable got rid of the red OOS and made it light gray so that it doesn't jump out at you as much as the in stock listings Make the font bigger on in stock bolded the price to make it easier to read for now i removed the automatic refresh, i am trying other options added the log at the bottom Time to make dinner2 points

6177 has gone to sold out status and is also likely on its way to EOL 6177 will also be a money maker along with the creative bucket 10662 which is also sold out and probably going to EOL . blue and pink brick buckets have been phenomenal performers for me $30 in brick buckets selling for $140-150. this set will be just like them. the ultimate brick bucket. before walmart sold these the price was $89+ shipping extra on ebay. this is the only time this set has ever been sold in the US at a retailer and its going to retire sooner than later. i am holding these for now because the market is saturated with sellers and wait for the price to get back to $90 though i'm sure its a great flip because even at msrp its still a great deal. its not like in January it still won't be 1.8 cent per brick buy in.1 point

With "Disney" on every Star Wars box, it makes me want to hoard the current sets (without the ubiquitous script) and never sell them.1 point

The pieces are not separated by color. However, they are roughly grouped by size. There are 16 sealed bags in total.1 point

Thank you for making Lego first where ever the others go. Since it is official ground zero I like seeing it first. (for everyone - yes I know Toys R Us puts everything out on the shelf first but LEGO Shop at Home is supposed to be the official site of authority).1 point

Update on this deal. Mine shipped last night and you can not rinse and repeat. If you used the same $10 back on $75 as me those points will not appear until 24 hours after the order was placed, not shipped, I got mine this morning. If you missed out on this deal they still have the headphones available for $20 with $16 back in points and if you get 2 and a $10 lego set you can use the $10 back on $50. http://www.kmart.com/nakamichi-nk2000-headphones-turbulence/p-018W006407129001P?redirectType=SRDT1 point

I know you are predicting, that was the point of my question. New members who are asking questions can be misled by members who pass their predictions off as fact. I will continue to call out members who do this. It's not personal I'm just looking out for the greater good of the new members, and yes I understand the concept of due diligence.1 point

I just came back from visiting a little toy store and they had two of these on sale for 80 euro each. Nice price! But I left them cause the seals were loose and exactly like you are showing in your pics. I have seen seals like that before. So it is not something strange.1 point

I don't think there's not much of an option is there if there are no boxes to purchase? For example I got 4x Minecraft Farm today from Amazon in one large box. There are no boxes I know of I can buy that will fit these sets. From the 50 or so sets I've sold in the last couple of months I haven't had any issues with the bubble wrap method. I think worst case scenario a set gets mangled in the post, I'll just refund the buyer, pay the $15 postage to have it sent back, then relist it at 10-15% discount stating a damaged box.1 point
-
yes but then a moment later it corrects itself. I think Amazon is rotates sets or something because some of these sets show lots of activity and change. Back and forth, etc. by tomorrow, i should have this fixed as well as some of the different LEGO statuses fixed.1 point

series 3 came out in sept and is basically gone already. i don't expect the last 2 to last thru christmas. these things are extremely popular. series 4 looks great and the glow in the dark, what a bonus. i think those 3 will be the hot ones of series 4 along with 3 new infernites to group with the originals. maybe a 2nd option max mixel or whatever they are called will come about in the instructions using all 6 infernites.1 point

I think there are ways to maximize earning airmiles by watching for sales, using coupons and waiting for bonus airmile promo events. I havent looked into it, but there have been articles about people making money off of their purchases with the airmiles program.1 point

I bought some coloured LED lights from Amazon but as I am not happy with the strobe effect, my girlfriend decided that we could string Christmas lights through some modular buildings (instead of putting the buildings away for the winter) so we grabbed one white light string and 5.5 of our buildings - just enough for one string of lights. The method and results are as follows: The light string enters at the top floor of the fire brigade and continues to the top floor of the pet shop From the top floor of the pet shop to the middle floor of the brownstone apartment building From the middle of the apartment building to the middle of the Cafe Corner, then a lot of lights get used in the middle and upper floor of the CC. The string leaves the upper floor of the CC to the upper floor of the Green Grocer but by keeping it only in the upper floor, the GG loses lighting (Rave opportunity) After leaving the top of the GG, the string goes through the Market Street patio door and down to the middle of the first floor so that it may enter the bottom floor of the Grand Emporium and spiral up the walls, ending at the chandelier. I removed 1-6 pieces per building depending on where I entered and exited the respective buildings. Currently, she is experimenting with "outside Christmas lights" and you can see the first result in the later pictures. For added colour, I can add a rave room to the Green Grocer and the Apartment building Enjoy!1 point

They'd never make an official UCS version of a location rather than a vehicle or other "thing" like a lightsaber. Location sets are meant to be played with, and the UCS sets are meant to be displayed--they gotta look good from all angles. That's why the Death Star and Ewok Village weren't UCS sets--just big and expensive with lots of minifigs. That's not to say they won't do a big, expensive version of Wayne Manor or the Batcave--just that they won't be UCS.1 point

I jumped on a deal from CL, two sets, a viking set and a star wars set for $200. I ask if set is complete, the seller says yes. The day of p/u, i get an email saying sorry cant sell it at that price...it was too cheap. i ask how much someone else offered. they say $300. I say ill take it even at that price. I go to pick it up and its a mom and her teenage son (maybe 13 or 14). everything looks good. the kid is eager to take my money. i take it home and immediately begin to discover that it is not complete and no where near complete. i immediately send an email. I get no response for a few days, and im emailing them every day with more and more parts that are missing. the mom finally emails back and says too bad..this is CL. I tell her about the representations that the set was complete, which was obviously made by her son, who should have known they were not because so many pieces were missing. the mom then offers to return $50, then $100. I say heck no, I will rather take you to small claims court so your son can learn a lesson. After days of nonsense, she finally says she will return my money. I take the sets back and she gives me my money back minus $20. She says, I didn't say I'd return all of your money! I tell her keep it, bad karma for you. I now have seen them trying to resell it on CL for a month. Now that it is listed as missing pieces, no one will touch it with a ten foot pole and the price dropped from $300 back to the original $200 last night. They wont sell it even for that price and even without me bad mouthing them on CL. Karma will get you every time. I wasted 2 hours total of driving and tons of time on email - i learned never to buy a set that is claimed to be complete on CL unless its already put together. Oh and I lost my $20 bucks.1 point
