Here is Version 1.0 of the Brickpicker LEGO Stock Tracker. There will be a few different pages and trackers released over the coming days. This one here will be one that is updated very frequently. This list here will not grow to 100 sets or anything like that. I want to keep it focused on key sets that are desirable and sought after. This tracker will also be enhanced over the next few days to setup alerts via the site as well as email and SMS. I have included the current price on the site as well as an alert icon if the current price is higher that retail MSRP. You will also see how long ago the in-stock status was checked. This page also works well on mobile devices. For now this page is open to everyone to see what it is, but as I finish the upgrades you will need to be a member and be logged into the site in order to access it. As I mentioned earlier, there will be other pages that will be monitoring all of the sets stock and prices on Amazon, Target, LEGO, Walmart and TRU. These should be live by next week if not sooner. We will use the thread to discuss adding or removing sets on this list of constant updates. I hope you like the start, it will continue to improve. Let me know your thoughts. http://www.brickpicker.com/brickwatcher/lego_stock_checker.cfm32 points

http://www.kmart.com/nakamichi-naka-bt05-silver-bt/p-018W006344064001P?redirectType=SRDT The reviews for these on Amazon are good mostly all 5 stars. They have 4 different colors. If you buy Two to bring your total cost to $80 and you have the $10 back on $75 coupon loaded you will get $74 back in points. So the most these will cost you is $6 before redeeming surprise points/points.7 points

No they created it on their own. It had been in the works before mine was even a thought. And they wouldn't have had to buy mine, just ask for it.6 points

Agreed, it should be moving up another 25-50% without any major restocks 5-7 days before Christmas. Here's what the Dolphin Cruiser did last year and you could argue these are more popular because they sell to both boys and girls....granted, more of these were probably produced so I guess that would temper that argument: The lowest 20 sellers have 893 units for sale as of 525pm EST. I'll check that again a little later to compare.4 points

I bought some coloured LED lights from Amazon but as I am not happy with the strobe effect, my girlfriend decided that we could string Christmas lights through some modular buildings (instead of putting the buildings away for the winter) so we grabbed one white light string and 5.5 of our buildings - just enough for one string of lights. The method and results are as follows: The light string enters at the top floor of the fire brigade and continues to the top floor of the pet shop From the top floor of the pet shop to the middle floor of the brownstone apartment building From the middle of the apartment building to the middle of the Cafe Corner, then a lot of lights get used in the middle and upper floor of the CC. The string leaves the upper floor of the CC to the upper floor of the Green Grocer but by keeping it only in the upper floor, the GG loses lighting (Rave opportunity) After leaving the top of the GG, the string goes through the Market Street patio door and down to the middle of the first floor so that it may enter the bottom floor of the Grand Emporium and spiral up the walls, ending at the chandelier. I removed 1-6 pieces per building depending on where I entered and exited the respective buildings. Currently, she is experimenting with "outside Christmas lights" and you can see the first result in the later pictures. For added colour, I can add a rave room to the Green Grocer and the Apartment building Enjoy!4 points

What a deal :-) Glad I procrastinated on buying these. Thank you! I love when Kmart pays me to buy their stuff.3 points

In my defense I didn't just 'show up' with the ooslego thing. People in the thread wanted to use a google docs spreadsheet or a dropbox file to update sets going out of stock. People were complaining that it was tedious to keep up to date and I saw this as a process that could be automated so I spent just over 3 hours development time creating that site for the people in that thread. Glad that BP has created their own version which probably works better than mine did.3 points

Ok, so some changes from feedback. Turned the table into a grid, all columns are sortable and it is searchable got rid of the red OOS and made it light gray so that it doesn't jump out at you as much as the in stock listings Make the font bigger on in stock bolded the price to make it easier to read for now i removed the automatic refresh, i am trying other options added the log at the bottom Time to make dinner2 points

I will have an update later tonight on the backorder Lego sets. I am already logging the changes, that will show up probably later tonight I will play around with font/color/design changes over time, but I will never win with this. What makes one person happy will update 10 others, but I am sure there will be better ways to display things. I have mentioned a few times that there are a few other trackers coming along with this that will allow people to follow certain sets, get alerts, etc. Sadly my job this afternoon is getting in the way of anything that people really care about2 points

Arctic Batman 76000 lowest on eBay is $24 now. This thing is primed for a quick takeoff as long as TRU doesn't set a limit on how far it can go for the time being. I absolutely love this set. It is just plain cool.2 points

This is amazing business Jeff. You saw a feature people loved and made an even better one yourself. I am very impressed with this site and it is the gift that just keeps giving. Keep up the good work!2 points

Asked an "special employee, knowing more than they used to .. and believe me she knows how to go further in their system " at Walmart Chateauguay-South Shore MTL, about getting more ... for sure it was a one shot deal. Got hooked up to search entire inventory for these for the entire Quebec province - at 99% there's no more to find in any Quebec Walmarts. WM system works with their item # when they search for these ..but both Duplo and this set are under the same .. Tips you have to be clear and go with the upc : 067341919022 insted !2 points

Up your prices folks! I haven't sold any, since they haven't hit the guaranteed 100% return vector yet. "What's your vector Victor?"2 points

Funny you posted that. I had one close to that size with 1 Seaside house in it lol. WM sent my 8 Downtown Bakery in 6 orders. Most were a large 18x18x18 square with 1 downton bakery in it with absolutely 0 packing material.2 points

Thought TRU shipped me a basketball hoop...nope, just 4 lil HLHs...could fit 30 sets in this box. No complaints though, all in decent enough condition:2 points

The QFLL and speculators create an unstable feedback loop that make it harder for TLG to do production and inventory planning. Example: TLG plans to phase out a slow selling set. They look at current inventory levels, recent sales rate, and predict that quantity that is needed to have the set last a few more months. They do a "final" production run and plan to let the inventory gradually run out. Investors sniff that the set is about to go EOL and suddenly the sales rate jumps 20x and the "final" inventory is gone in a flash. Unless TLG can predict the behavior of QFLL their planning will be crap. Unfortunately, if they do predict QFLL behavior, and ramp up production significantly to account for that final burst, then it ends up changing what the QFLL do in the first place.2 points

That is Targeteese for 'we're smashing the bejesus out of your sets before we woefully under pack them and send them on their way to you.2 points

For anyone who collects Airmiles' second form of air miles currency: "Air Miles Cash".... they now offer e-vouchers for TRU Canada online and in store. 95 points = $10 190 Points = $20 Not huge, but for someone like me who doesn't use air miles for travel... this is better than their alternatives! https://www.airmiles.ca/arrow/SponsorsDetails?Nr=vendor.id:1003231 point

1 9526 Palpatine's Arrest for $80 plus shipping. Paid $45 when LEGO Shop at Home was blowing them out during Big Zoo Season.1 point

Buy them all, complete the sets of 4 from ebay or BPers. Put them away for 7 years. Late November 2021 list them in a super bundle with Chopper Showdown, 2017 Holiday set 2/2, the hornet looking guy from Mixels Series 11 and a Tumbler. People will be going nuts for it.1 point

I'm convinced they either hire failed computer science graduates or sadists to program that damn shop your way site (perhaps a bit of both). What a UI nightmare.1 point

I already have one KJ that I bought about a year ago at $119, and I just bought another one at the current discount. Great excuse to actually build both of them and put them together like they have pictures For anyone who likes building historical MOCs, this is a great parts pack and value at the current price.1 point

It would also take less bandwidth, since mobile pages are like 10 times smaller1 point

I had a few points to redeem, the $10 back on $50, and then the promotion for the speakers themselves. It is always a little fuzzy math coming from Kmart, but I'm not arguing with them if they want to pay me to take a pair of bluetooth speakers. I know alot of people complain about Kmart, but if you work it right, they have some of the best deals around IMO.1 point

Well, there were cancelled orders for R2D2 in US. It usually add A LOT of significance. There is no point for LEGO Shop at Home to cancel recent orders (unless errors are involved of course)1 point

when you say 30 sets do you mean 30 complete sets of 4 or 30 random loose remaining individual sets. Big difference. If sets of 4 its an easy sale for $110 so not bad at all. With coupons, rewards, and other incentives you can get into the set for under $70. Clear about $20 a set and you can do 5 set lots and clear $100 per lot. Good options there if you don't believe in them long term.1 point
