Wow wow wow my friends it's time to stop those speculations based on the back of the box right now. There are always been only 3 modulars at the back of boxes (the current, and the two last sets). It's like that since the 10185 green grocer. Back of boxes: Cafe corner - cafe corner, alone Market street - market street, alone (I list it because... see next line) Green grocer- green grocer, market street, cafe corner Fire brigade- fire brigade, green grocer, cafe corner (bye bye market street ! Thanks for the fish help) Grand emporium- grand emporium, fire brigade, cafe corner Pet shop - pet shop, grand emporium, fire brigade Town hall - town hall, pet shop, grand emporium Palace cinema - palace cinema, town hall, pet shop Parisian restaurant - parisian restaurant, palace cinema, town hall Detective's office - detective's office, parisian restaurant, palace cinema. 3 sets on the back ? Ok. So NOTHING NEW SINCE 20087 points

This post on eurobricks cracked me up: "also looks like a departure from the love story we've gotten in the modulars: PC: first date PR: proposal GE: Suit and dress choice for upcoming marriage TH: Wedding PS: New apartment to start a family DO: wife has run away and husband hires a private detective to find her?"5 points

I would say eBay will side with the buyer if she opens a case against you. I would ask her to show photos and if she's being truthful send the right one to her. One mixel is not worth an open case in my book.3 points

Use coupon code 44461 online. Expires Nov 29th. It worked for me for boxes, kraft paper, tape, and shipping label pouches. So it seems to work for just about all shipping supplies. Stock up for the holiday rush!2 points

The good thing about it is that is blends in more with city like the bikeshop and also it can be a nice addition for displaying the super heroes. This might be a very big hit. Now only thing I am pondering about is the price. Last modular was 102 points

I love it when you have 1/2 a dozen big packages to ship out and they are all for EBay Global Shipping Program customers. I live close to Kentucky, so I know all these packages will be less than $8 to ship and most under $6.2 points

I really like the fine details of the set. The window stickers on the DO are a nice touch. I like the brick as well.2 points

Here's some quick pictures, it's a work in progress. A mixture of our own stuff with Lego models because, frankly, I'm not very good at doing my own thing.2 points

Ed and I want to create a page here in the forum (or somewhere) that will allow anyone who has an eBay and/or Amazon store to create a banner ad and advertise their store during the holiday season. Just PM me with a 728x90 banner and any small message about possible deals that you might be offering. Also make sure you include a link to your store and store name if there is one. If you want to include your Brickpicker name, let me know, otherwise I will keep it anonymous. This can be a good way for you to bring some new life to your store and get your holiday season sales off to a good start.1 point

Today and yesterday... New/sealed 3061 city park cafe for $62 shipped. Paid $21. New/sealed 40082 & 40083 Christmas stand and truck promo combo for $56 shipped. Received free last year with other purchases. Used/complete with box 6769 Fort Legoredo for $148 shipped. I bought it off my local Craig's two weeks ago for $25. I spent about $15 bricklinking a few missing pieces.1 point

LOL and THERE IS a little desk fan in the detective office!! I am sold, I just love noir. I will so buy 3 of these and mod the hell out of them. Now I just need cigarettes for the detective, a frowning unshaven head and some alcohol bottles for the bar downstairs. Seriously thinking on making a custom butcher's shop, just for completeness's sake. In my opinion this is the best modular that's been released. Some might be bigger, rarer or represent fancier building techniques but the feeling, atmosphere and vibe packed into this is unmatched for me. A dirty, shabby city block. This is what I needed!1 point

Nice! I just had a GSP buyer nab one for $47 shipped, so you might have been able to squeeze a little more out of it.1 point

Sold a LEGO 4626 Farm Brick Box for $30 + shipping. What is it with these blue boxes of Lego. I got it for $17 at a mom and pop toy store which was a bit high but I knew I could flip it for some profit.1 point

I'm not sure if your are a little sarcastic... or a lot. My post is only about the back of the detective's office box. I made it because I wouldn't be happy to see some newbies panic buying PS because it's not on the back of this box. But I don't mean the TH, PS, etc. are not retiring... I only say that the box gives us zero clues about other's sets retirement.1 point

Just seeing this now, this is easily the biggest discount I can recall ever seeing on this set, Costco previously had it listed for $337.99 I believe. Definitely worth considering this holiday season! http://www.costco.ca/LEGO%C2%AE-%E2%80%93-Mindstorms-EV3-English.product.100057003.html1 point

Well. Guess I'm running to Walgreens tomorrow. I'm sure it's only Series 3 (that's all I've ever seen at mine), but, never too early to start building my Series 3 sets when they are 20% off.1 point

haha no worries. She likes the extra money it's bringing in. She is going NUTS on the kids this year. Normally I restrain her but if she let's me do my thing, I let her do her's As soon as I posted I check their weekly ad. Thanks for the info always apprieciated for my stupid questions. I will probably grab some of those White Bobas for my kids and nephews for a few years down the road when they start getting into Star Wars. I was gonna jump on a Sandcrawler from TRU ebay but I spent my fill for at least 1 day.1 point

I stuck to my rule and it paid off. This morning I purchased Battle of Five Armies for $45.59 at Target. I price matched Walgreens (20% Off Legos) and received an additional 5% off using my Target Red Card. Very Happy with this purchase. Now I sit and wait until I can get Lonely Mountain for less than $86.60.1 point

I love every new lego set I see, especially when it's a modular, so I like this one right now too but obviously I think that I'll mislike it in the next months... It can't compare with the PR or the PC. It looks like an alternate version of the PS. Meh. It lacks charisma IMHO. The blue house is really disappointing. The "POOL" letters are nice, and I wonder how is the inside of that modular. But really, the outside is not as good as I expected. NB: it's 32 studs large1 point

If that's legit...wow. I'm in love. I like that better than any of the modulars so far, and I've been a big fan of the FB and TH.1 point

I started college in 2002 but had to stop before I finished because of the cost. I got back in to school two years ago and graduated today. My wife was very sweet and drove all the way across town to get this (and a gift card) for me. Of course I had to build it as soon as I got home. Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker1 point

I love that I finally quit retail. Made it to 20 years with Target a few months back, turned in my notice last week. Now it's just boats, kayaks, and paddle boards. Oh, and Lego.1 point

Chin up! We'll get through another round! Slow-moving parents of young children despise faster-moving parents of small children who get there first. Fast-moving parents of small children despise adult collectors who buy the last box on the shelf when they SHOULD leave it "for the children!" Collectors despise the collector/casual investor who buys TWO of a set (shocking! Just shocking! Even if they are the LAST TWO!!) and don't leave any for the purist collector. Collector/Casual Investors despise the Mid-Level Investor/Collector who don't leave any for them. Mid-Level Investor/Collectors despise the High-Level Investor/Reseller (often those counting on Lego for a significant amount or all of their income) who don't leave any for them. It's not "sick" for someone to buy more Lego than another person, or for them not to leave Lego on the shelf for the children, the parents, the purist collectors, the casual investors, the lazy, the stupid, or the weak. We're not talking bottled water in a hurricane here, we're talking a luxury toy. I won't call you whiny if you don't call me sick. Or, better yet, keep calling me sick all you want instead of taking steps to make sure you can compete with me on the fair and level playing field called "Open Hours" at the store selling Lego.1 point
