Interesting thing with the Family House is it actually includes enough pieces of the right size to build a modular home. I was going to save this for another topic but what the heck. Check it out. I have found plenty of other alternates for the set impressive one way or another but I'll save those for later. ;)

Why are people upset about the used versions going down? Who buys used stuff to invest in? New set is still not doing terribly. This is why I love remakes. At some point I will grab this set for 150$

The holidays set is FAN-TA-STIC. It will fit so well with santa's workshop that some twisted mind people could think it has been designed together since the very beginning...

It appears that double VIP points are back, plus the Elves Workshop will be free with orders of $99 or more. Minifigures series 12 will be available on the 1st. Here's a close-up of the 2014 Christmas set which appears to be the Elves Workshop. And the back of the calendar:

Triple VIP points were BEFORE Black Friday. People procrastinated and said they would wait for the super duper Black Friday deals and they never arrived.

I have a Mom & Pop Pharmacy that has one at MSRP as well, I think I might snag it, even as much as I hate to pay MSRP.

Best time of the year to buy exclusives. The holiday sets plus 2x VIP is such a killer deal.

I do think Ninjago is far less popular in Europe than US though. I have several 2507 Fire Temple's. Been discontinued over a year and a half and not even back to retail price yet.

Hey guys, the Series 12 Minifigures might start showing up in stores soon. I was able to pick up 8 packs today. Tried for the whole box but no go.

I just have one. It's not my favorite and since it's not a trademarked brand like Maersk I'm not sure it will have the same appeal. It is a cool train, but you almost need two to make it complete.

I bought one new around Christmas of last year for $300 off eBay. Well, it was mostly new - box was open and in good condition and inner bags were sealed. So it was never built. In fact, like many other sets in my collection, it still isn't built. I am looking forward to putting this on display at some point.

I know the World Cup is over, but you really need to change the title to "goooaaaallll".

Of all things to say there u chose... Phone?!?! Flowers are cheaper and will have a better affect.

Been really busy the last couple of months, so this is really an over-due and large update for the last (approx. ) 3-4 months. I`ve built: Mini-Cooper (beautiful set, honestly I enjoy it more than the Camper, though it is excellent as well) Ecto-1 Falling Water (looks gorgeous on one of my office shelves) Eiffel Tower Benny`s Spaceship R2-D2 (I finally, finally got a copy of this set. Amazing display, one of my favourite sets of all time. Easily, it`s awesome!) Been sitting on display at home for a couple months now, and it`ll stay that way, of course keeping up with the dust is sometimes a challenge haha! Also a few Lego Movie sets, Constitution train, a couple creator sets (Cat/Mouse, Bird/Monkey, plane, etc.), and that`s pretty much it. Now it`ll likely be a few months before I post in this thread again!

NMM you are not the typical noob. That is a high compliment by the way. I'm prepared if this line flops to build all 26 sets I have and have an Avatar like mech attack on a defenseless planet. Only this time the humans and mech's will win.

This is my first post but I got the last Super Star Destroyer 10221 today at a Legoland Store for $400. When i mentioned the Lego VIP program she said "Sorry we don't partake in the program as we're just a gift shop and not part of the Lego Store. I know you'll be losing a lot of points but I can give you 5% off on this." So with tax the total cost was $410.00. I haven't been so excited to spend that much money in a while!

A great show, it earned its` spot as the #1 Best Written TV Show of all time by the WGA. Will continue to stand the test of time I`m sure, pure television perfection. I confess though, I`ve seen about 80% of the episodes, not all of them. One day (or rather, a few) I`ll sit down and do a marathon.

It's does not seem to be a good set to invest in, at least for now signs are awful. I got one at 50% 7 months ago and nobody cares of it (nearly 0 visits each week on ebay). I can't sell mine with 40% off (to get back my investment). It has been heavily discounted since a long time (and it still is). Stay away from that set. Maybe kids think it's stupid to see a giant samurai helmet on caterpillar tracks, and I hate it now too, lol.

Yes I can confirm that Lego store employees have no clue what they are talking about.
